Rooms and balcony
Nope. The place was great.
Classical character intermingled with new modifications. Very clubby atmosphere, truly sophisticated.
Hard time finding outlets, and the restaurant staff smoked outside the entrance. Otherwise an excellent stay.
Very nice hotel. Small by US standards but very nice and I would love to stay there again.
The location is incredible, and the hotel is lovely. The bathtubs are huge and a must.
The rooms are a little anonymous, and the decor tries a bit hard to be cool yet classic.
Very central, comfortable bed, friendly staff! Will visit again!
It was fantastic. They had a room ready for me (early), and the staff were superduperhelpful. And? it was gorgeous.
No. There was nothing I didn't like about the Threadneedles.
This is a great hotel, in a central location with easy access to all the major attractions.
Room a bit too dark
The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are very well appointed.
The hotel is upgrading the heating system. We were mistakenly placed in a room that could not be heated to a reasonable temperature. It took multiple telephone calls before the manager was contacted and we were moved to another room.
The reception we received was lovely, followed by the hotel manager explaining a bit about the historic nature of the hotel and the beautiful domed ceiling in the lobby, then guiding me to my room and explaining the amenities.
We loved everything about this lovely boutique hotel. Wish we could have stayed a few more days!
We only stayed at the Threadneedles hotel for one night (Saturday night). We wished we would have stayed there during our entire stay in London. The May Fair Hotel (in the May Fair district) wasn't nearly as nice and/or personable. They really know how to threat a guest and exceeded our every expectation. Somewhat off the beaten path, but I'm now a firm believer that smaller boutique hotels are the way to go.
