While the term B&B usually brings to mind pastoral and bucolic, Atmosphère succeeds in keeping the ambiance relaxed, but the setting is very modern, urban and stylish. In fact, the whole feel is very on-trend and very Montréal now: breakfasts are gourmet and concocted from the freshest local products. Though quite young—it was launched in 2007—Atmosphère’s commitment to excellence has been paying off. Last year, it was voted best B&B in Canada on BedandBreakfast.com, the leading online bed and breakfast directory and reservation network worldwide, where inngoers submitted nearly 50,000 independently posted reviews. Locally, this little luxe spot has also proven a favourite, scooping up the Lauréat Or (Gold) in the category of B&Bs during the Grand Prix du Tourisme Québecois in May of this year.
