Good location at stateline close to everything. Quiet heater
Room was dark with dim lighting. Old school tv.
the staff were so helpful and friendly. Sean the front desk clerk was wonderful.
I did not like the shower, temperature of the water changed so quickly to too hot or too cold. the water pressure was so poor.
They always had fresh coffee and water in the lobby. I could walk out our door, cross the street and be in the middle of downtown. There were so many restaurants and shops right there.
Our sink was leaking but once we told them it was fixed right away.
I really love the comfort of the beds and the convenience of the location. This is my 4th stay and still really enjoy it
I would say it would be nice if the televisions were updated. Maybe some better hotel toiletries and a few more towels.
The location was great . Having coffee available 24/7 was really nice
The TV was very old, Not many choices of channels. Our stay was fine for the price. I would pay a bit more for an updated TV and channel choices. It's not that we're in Tahoe for TV, but after along day kayaking or hiking we do like to watch some sports that might be on.. Like the Giants or 49ner's
I don't usually feel compelled to write yelp reviews, but our stay at this place was too horrible not to mention. The outside of the building is VERY charming. But as soon as we stepped foot into the room, an entirely different story unfolded. TONS of stains on the carpet, black mold in the bathroom, a non-working refrigerator and a TV straight from the early 90s were just the start. One of the things that sold us on the room initially was the tempurpedic mattress, which was great, until we found it to be covered with unlimited DISGUSTING stains. After showering/getting ready for dinner our first night there, we looked at the bottom of our feet and they were BLACK from the bathroom floor and carpet. Within 30 minutes of checking in, we were already calling other hotels in the area to get out. Aside from the disgusting and unsanitary condition of the room, our overall experience was also less than pleasant. We arrived back at our room from the casinos at 2:15am to find that there was not a single parking spot available on the entire property, and that our room key had been deactivated. Thank goodness for the front desk being open 24/7. Our key was reactivated by a young gentleman who was less than pleasant. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, considering that it was 2:15am on a Saturday and he was stuck in a hotel lobby. When I asked where we should be parking, as there was no street parking available either, he told us that our only option was to illegally park in one of the handicapped stalls on the property. Do yourself a favor and steer completely clear of this place. Trust me, it's worth the extra $50/night or so to stay at one of the other hotels/resorts in the area. We will be reporting the property to the health department today and we will NEVER be returning.
Toilet wouldn't work. They had to fix it three days in a row. Couldn't move us to another room, booked. Asked for some type of accommodation or for a discount and they said know you already got a good rate. My husband and I had to go to the grocery store or fast food places to use the restroom. NO working bathroom are you kidding! NO discount are you kidding.
Being close to stores
Not enough towels, needs new carpet. No microwave or water for the coffee. Shower water leaked out, had to put towels on floor to absorb water leakage. No floor towel available when you get out of the shower.
We could walk anywhere in the Casino area or to the Lake easily from Park Tahoe. The people at the desk were nice.
Rather dated except for the Tempurpedic mattress, but not the kind of mattress I find comfortable. Sleeps "hot". I'm sure others might love. Wi-fi was very inconsistent. I finally gave up on it. TV very old and bulky, but the stations that came in were clear. Not a large selection of stations. No pool No breakfast (which we thought was included).
Avoid at all cost, plenty of other lodging choices. The bed are extremely hard and in addition the room were cold. The service is unprofessional. Shawn, management was rude and dismissive.
Location to the casinos Location to shops and grocery stores The ambience Great staff House keeping was great Refrigerator The price!
The pillows were a little soft Bathroom shower head was VERY low Bathroom window was out dated You have to use your key when leaving to lock the door
