The Azamara Club Cruises’ Azamara Pursuit offers all the features of a luxury cruise ship, but at 594 feet and carrying 686 passengers, it still has the comfort of a boutique ship. Due to its size, guests can take advantage of longer voyages including 15-night cruises to Iceland, Rio de Janeiro, 17 nights to Antarctica, and seven and eight-night itineraries for France, Italy, and Croatia.
Launched in 2000, and having recently undergone refurbishment, the Azamara Pursuit offers décor typical of Azamara ship style. Ornately decorated with precious stones and porcelains as well as new color themes gives the ship's cabins and suites a refined look. Each cabin comes complete with luxury Egyptian blankets and linens, bathrobes and slippers, while guests benefit from 24-hour cabin service, plus a host of other amenities. For an extra-special touch, many cabins also boast their own balcony for stunning ocean and shoreline views.
The Azamara Pursuit features seven cafes and lounges. As the ship does not fix tables or seating times, the restaurants welcome guests at their leisure. Between the main restaurant, buffet with a large outdoor area and a variety of specialty restaurants, guests will be spoiled for choice.
Additional amenities include an impressive fitness and spa area, ensuring one does not forsake their health and wellbeing while aboard. The space offers a sauna, swimming pool and extensive spa menu. For fitness enthusiasts, the gym features state-of-the-art equipment and personal trainers.
The Azamara Pursuit also presents talks on travel destinations from recognised experts in the field. When the sun goes down, guests are privy to a variety of cabaret-style shows, live bands and classical soloists. A voyage highlight, the famed Azamara White Nights Party is an evening not to be missed.
