Xpedition is the first among the Celebrity Cruises fleet to break with tradition and sail to smaller, less traveled destinations. It’s in a unique class all of its own, offering many of the benefits of traditional cruising, along with the opportunity to explore the natural world.
The Xpedition offers two main itineraries: inner loops to Quito, Ecuador and around the remote yet fascinating Galapagos Islands, and an outer loop cruise to Machu Picchu, Peru. Both Galapagos itineraries offer ten and eleven nights of cruising, and wildlife spotting, with the opportunity to learn from expert naturalists during shore excursions and evening lectures. The outer loop trip to Peru lasts fifteen nights.
This Celebrity Cruises ship has the capacity for 100 passengers, and 64 crew ready to offer the best in passenger service. There’s an overall sense of space throughout, from the lounges to the outdoor sun decks and hot tub area. Four passenger decks include a library, internet café, exercise and massage room, dance floor and gift shop. Onboard dining ranges from the elegant Darwin’s restaurant to the more casual Beagle Grill, as well as full room service.
It spacious and beautifully decorated staterooms all offer ocean and island views, seating areas, well-appointed bathrooms, and comfortable furnishings. Make the most of the ocean views with a Premium Ocean View stateroom, or a suite with a private balcony. For a touch of luxury, the Penthouse is available, with a private balcony and hot tub, spacious living room and separate bathroom. Originally built in 2001 in Germany, the Xpedition offers the perfect cruise experience for naturalists of all ages.
