Costa Fascinosa takes center stage as the most glamorous of the Costa Cruises ships. In service since 2012, the 950-ft Concordia-class ship offers journeys of complete luxury and sophistication.
The Costa Fascinosa makes a number of excellent short cruises in the Mediterranean. The six-night Spain, Italy & Balearic Islands tour is a round-trip from either Savona or Barcelona. Along the way, guests have the opportunity to take in the art and culture of Naples, see the Romanesque, Arab, Norman, and Byzantine monuments in Palermo, party all night in Ibiza, and explore the old city of Palma De Mallorca.
The ship carries 3,617 passengers and an attentive crew of 1,100. But with 1,508 cabins and 13 decks, the Costa Fascinosa cruise ship makes for a spacious and relaxing journey. There are 91 cabins with direct access to the spa, 524 with private balcony, and 58 suites, all with private balcony, and 12 suites with direct access to the spa. All include air conditioning, individual climate control, mini-bar, flat-screen TV, hairdryer, and safe.
There are five restaurants and 13 bars on board, meaning there’s always somewhere to dine and have a drink. The impressive Samsara Spa provides relaxation across two floors, with everything from saunas and Turkish bath to a solarium and gym. Other onboard highlights include five Jacuzzis and four pools, waterslide, theater on three floors, dancing and music, 4D cinema, running track, casino, library, and kids entertainment and activities.
