The Costa Pacifica, by Costa Cruises, sails through the Caribbean, around the Dominican Republic and Antigua, among a variety of routes. This is a ship designed to inspire and entertain, with music taking a strong focus. There’s even a state-of-the-art recording studio, in which guests can book one-hour sessions with technicians to mix and edit a CD.
The Concordia-class ship, launched in 2008, hosts up to 3,780 passengers and has a crew of 1,010. In total it has 1,504 cabins, with 91 of them having direct access to the spa. 521 offer private balconies. A gym, four pools, a sauna, treatment rooms,a Turkish bath and UVA-ray solarium are offered in the luxurious spa. There is also an outdoor jogging track, along with a multipurpose sports pitch. For further entertainment, Costa Pacifica offers a theater, disco, shopping center, casino, waterslides, a library, kids clubs and a Grand Prix driving simulator.
Finally, typical 7-night itineraries on board Costa Pacifica include stops at Catalina Island, St. John, Basseterre and Fort De France. Shore excursions allow passengers to explore the coastline via catamaran, discover Antigua via self-drive buggies, try zipline adventures and go dolphin-spotting in St. Kitts.
