Part of the Disney Cruise fleet, Disney Dream promises a magical adventure on the high seas. Built in 2011, the 1,115-ft ship can accommodate a total of 4,000 passengers, with a crew of 1,458 over 14 passenger decks.
Disney Dream offers short, three or four-night cruises to the Bahamas. Cruises begin in Orlando and visit Nassau, stopping off at Disney's privately-owned Castaway Cay Island on the way back to Florida.
As one might expect, a voyage on Disney Dream is all about the entertainment. Passengers can watch Broadway-standard live shows in the Walt Disney Theatre and first-run Disney movies. There's plenty to keep the kids happy, including the Oceaneer Club with a Star Wars-themed play space. The ship has three pools, one of which is adults-only, and 14 dining options, including fine dining, cafes, and room service. Disney characters can sometimes be seen wandering the decks, adding a touch of magic to the voyage.
Disney Dream has 199 outside cabins and 150 inside cabins. 31 of the cabins are wheelchair-accessible. The finest suites include a whirlpool tub, wet bar and two bathrooms with rain shower, and all staterooms come equipped with a flat screen TV, refrigerator, full-length mirror, and individual climate control, plus hidden Disney decor surprises for the kids!
