Hour and a half wait at pick up Positiv: Car was clean and comfortable. Negativ: Hour and a half wait. No instructions on where to go after check in. Charged $20 more than booking price (after tax and fees).
Positiv: Vehicle was clean. Negativ: Staff was not helpful in describing different types of insurance and felt pressured into buying insurance.
Were charged extra to change the drop-off point to the Airport because our flight times were changed and we didn't have enough time to drop it off at our pick up location.
Employee on the phone was also not very knowledgeable or helpful.
Great pricePositiv: Great price and the manager called later in the day to see how the rental was and see if we had any issues with it. Told us to go to the nearest location which he gave us the address and told us to exchange it for another one and they did great customer service

3 hours late, car not heldPositiv: Good car and staffNegativ: Scheduled time to pick up car with out much thought, no deposit. Arrived less than 3 hours after scheduled time and manager announced to waiting area "Oh you are the late people!" Apparently they ran short of cars. We settled on a nice upgrade for a discounted fee, but will be more careful with times if we use Enterprise again.
SmoothPositiv: Cons: I had to ask for assistance in locating where to actually pick up the car. It was far away and not well marked. Additionally I had to try and view the car for pre-checkout damages in the dim light of a parking garage.
Pros: rental staff was quick and efficient and none of the dreaded high pressured sales pitch to upgrade and purchase overpriced insurance.
No vehicle availablePositiv: We reserved this vehicle a month in advance. Despite calling the day before to confirm, the rental car was not available for us. They tried to put us in a smaller, lighter vehicle, but with 5 adults and ski gear, it would not have worked.

The Agent for Hertz at Residence Inn by Marriott Tempe Negativ: The agent at Residence Inn by Marriott Tempe was extremely rude and didn't give us the car on time. We were 30 mins late and the agent made me wait and didn't give me the approximate time the car will be given to me. I had to go to the doctor so I left the place.
Negativ: Showed up at 12:40 for 1pm reservation. Attendant was no where to be seen. Sign on desk with phone number to call rang the phone at the same desk. Attendant showed up at 1:20. He claimed he had only been gone since 1pm. Seeing as I had been sitting there for almost 45 minutes at that point, I kindly let him know that I knew he was lying. I finally got o. The road at 1:45, just in time to hit the rush hour traffic I had been planning to avoid.
Terrible situation all aroundPositiv: Literally nothing Negativ: They called me 10 minutes before our agreed pick up time , while in Uber, to tell me they had no more cars. They provided no alternatives, no solutions, no accommodations, no compensation or any future discounts etc. Just told me I was SOL. I asked for the manager and he said it was him - Cannot explain the lack of empathy that he showed. It was pathetic for a Hertz manager to be as terrible at customer service as he was.
Positiv: Easy to pick up and drop off.
Negativ: Drop off location was within a hotel which was not listed on the drop off address. There was no sign outside to know where the Hertz location was.
