Positiv:: Wonderful hotel with incredible views over the London Tower! Perfect location, with Tower Hill underground station just below the hotel. We had a noise issue with some water pumps and they changed us the room without any problem, thank you for that! Nice pubs and restaurants close to the hotel. Highly recommendable hotel!

Positiv:: The location, the view, the staff, the room (everything controlled by the ipad) room keys worked the entire time we stayed, the design of the hotel, seemed like there was an emphasis on being eco friendly. Even though the room is small it has everything you need and if it isnt in the room it’s somewhere else in the hotel. The sky bar is amazing especially at night with everywhere outside lit up

Negativ:: We changed room for one time because the aircon is not working well. We tried to set the temp to 18C with highest fan mode but it has no wind and feels like 20-23. Technician came by and said this is the best temperature they can have. So for people who are scared of heat might need to take this as consideration. (Though you won't feel too hot when you are just lying on bed...) Room 509 ipad screen touching not working too well, cannot change channel since second day so need to use the remote control. A bit surprised that there is no kettle in room. Can't get any hot water so need to get out for hot tea/coffee... Slightly overprice, probably because we booked too late and it is mid-Sept where students/parents are visiting UK...

Negativ:: Had ‘interior’ room was expecting one with a view, as headlined on your web site. We asked to change but no outside view rooms available. Disappointing as we had booked the hotel almost a month before. Who gets the view rooms and why? Didn’t like having to crawl into bed, I.e. no space either side to get into bed as normal, not easy for two pensioners, one with arthritis. Hot Breakfast first morning was good, second morning, only eggs were actually hot.

Nice little touches such as being offered a glass of lemon/lime water on arrival. I was sharing a room with a friend and really great that the rooms are designed with the hairdryer outside the bathroom (2 can get ready at once) 2 full length mirrors, iron in room too.

Negativ:: The background music in the bar and at breakfast is a bit loud for relaxing conversation. The restaurant staff may want to be a bit more flexible late in a Sunday night when asked if we can drink a glass of wine i one of the many empty tables overlooking the river.

Negativ:: Bathroom was poor. It was small and instead of glass panels around the shower/bath, the was a shower curtain, which whilst was adequate, was not the most hygienic, reduced the space available in the shower and looked awful. Not what I would expect from a ‘5*’ hotel. The staff at breakfast did not appear particularly interested in making the first meal of the day a particularly pleasant one.

Negativ:: Das Hotel liegt weit entfernt von der eigentlichen Stadt. In den Docklands gibt es hauptsächlich Büros. Am Wochenende wirkt deshalb die Region wie ausgestorben. Shopping in den leeren malls ist nicht besonders aufregend. Die Restaurants und Pubs schliessen früh.

Negativ:: The main thing that i wasnt happy about was that it was a 3pm check in and we got there just after 3 and they said there was no parking left at the hotel and we had to park at jubliee car park which was ok only a few mintues walk but cost us most more in long run. Better if you resever a place when booking. Also breakfast isnt inculded in the price and its very expriance for a breakfast so we left it and had breakfast out. Breakfast should be included in the price for how much you pay for the room.

While the hotel is out of the way and far from city center I wish i'd taken advantage of the historic waterfront offerings while visiting.

Negativ:: Cleanliness needs work, room was dirty, flooring was coming up. The hotels location is right on a main road so there is a LOT of noise from outside at all times of day! It’s also next to a hospital so there is constant sirens. Staff were not particularly helpful or interested in issues when we checked out!

Negativ:: Leider hatten wir im Zimmer kein Licht bei der Ankunft. Daraufhin wurde vom Techniker der Hauptschalter ausgewechselt, anschließend funktionierte es. Einige Stunden später aber das Gleiche. Kein Licht. Und damit auch keine Badezimmerlüftung. Nach erneuter Beschwerde wurde das Problem behoben. Doch am dritten Tag (Abreisetag) funktionierte das Licht nach dem Aufstehen wieder nicht. Beim Auschecken wurde auf den Hinweis nicht besonders entgegenkommend reagiert, nur entschuldigt. Die eine Euro-Steckdose im Raum (für die man keinen Adapter brauchte) funktionierte generell nicht. Das Badezimmer ist so aufgebaut, dass beim Duschen der komplette Boden nass wird. Nach dem Duschen kommt man also nicht mehr trockenen Fußes zur Toilette oder zum Waschbecken. Außer man "opfert" den Badvorleger zum Aufwischen.

I don't know if it was because the regatta was on and the hotel was extremely busy but we felt we didn't get the warm welcome we usually do and no option to upgrade. My husband informed them it was our wedding anniversary beforehand but we didn't even get so much as a 'happy anniversary' from when we checked in.

Positiv:: We always stay at this hotel we love it but this stay wasn't as great. Our room wasn't up to standard, the bathroom wasn't very clean with hairs in the bath. I don't know if it was because the regatta was on and the hotel was extremely busy but we felt we didn't get the warm welcome we usually do and no option to upgrade. My husband informed them it was our wedding anniversary beforehand but we didn't even get so much as a 'happy anniversary' from when we checked in.

Negativ:: Despite I have booked not the standard, but executive room, chosen based on the pictures on booking.com, I have got the room very different from what was on the picture. The room was old, the same which was on the pictures of standard room. Furniture is old as well as carpets. While my colleague who have booked cheaper, standard room got the renovated modern room. Reception explained that the room differs by its amenities and the access to the lounge, which was strange as I have chosen and paid for the room at the picture and it was very weird that the standards are better in this hotel. Was disappointed. Will not go to this hotel anymore, since they haven’t explained how to get renovated modern room paying for it and why it didn’t reflect the picture on the booking...

Positiv:: Great location, very clean and staff were incredibly friendly. The bar was modern and not too badly priced for London. Checkin was simple and the left luggage service was smooth and simple.
Negativ:: The only thing that wasn't great was that our room was next to a maintenance closet and multiple times throughout the evening and morning we could hear the staff talking and moving things around etc. This led to us being woken up earlier than we would have liked on the morning, but wasn't too bad as we did have a train to catch! Better sound proofing would have sorted this issue and next time I would just ask for a different room.

Negativ:: the halls from the elevator to the room are lined with carpets, the smell is not very good, i think they shpuld get rid of the carpets and clean the halls.
