MSC Cruises’ MSC Bellissima is being designed as the cruise line’s second Meraviglia-class ship, and the company’s new flagship. Expected to debut in March 2019 with weeklong cruises around the Mediterranean ports of Naples, Marseille and Barcelona, the ship will be able to hold 4,500 passengers. From its giant LED ceiling to its made-to-order MSC for Me app, an MSC Bellissima cruise is bound to be the ultimate ultra-modern luxury voyage.
MSC Bellissima will be a child-friendly vessel, with clusters of three interlinked cabins available for family groups to share. There will be an enormous kids' area, with facilities for babies, children and teenagers. MSC's partnership with Lego also means that there will be plenty of toys and activities available for the kids.
As is common on MSC's megaships, entertainment is an important feature of onboard life: Bellissima will function much like a floating resort. There will be a water park for children, plus indoor and outdoor pools for adults. Entertainment will be provided by Cirque de Soleil, who have devised exclusive shows for MSC Cruises. Bellissima will also be equipped with an indoor amusement park.
The MSC Yacht Club, a private area for suite passengers, will span three decks and contain 78 suites and 2 apartments. Here, passengers can take advantage of a small, exclusive swimming pool, private solarium, a restaurant and lounge. Guests on a budget can opt for one of the well-appointed staterooms, many of which contain a private balcony - the perfect place to relax and take in the sea air.
