We were a family of 5 who needed something near LA but not too close and this was perfect. Right near the freeway entrance for a 15min drive to downtown.
The room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It's in a great location! Family friendly. Location is excellent because it's right across the street from Montebello mall and it has the movie theatre right up the street.
Just the bed. View was the roof! All.. It eas in construction, a mess, i dident smoke and gor cjarged for smoking 200!
We loved the pool, the restaurant, our room, the cleanliness, and no hidden charges. Bonnie, at the front desk used our name, when she said good morning, when we came down for breakfast. It was a very nice touch. No.
I liked the low price on bar drinks and hospitality
Low quality casino. Smokers near every entrance. Management was very by their own "rules" and unwilling to make any type of exceptions to make our stay more comfortable. Ended up cutting our stay short and booking a room with Hilton instead.
Great rate, room service was good, good value, convenient location. Staff was super friendly and helpful. It was next to outlets which was nice, right off highway and had everything you need. Its not your LA hotel but its a good option. We found movies near, shopping, on site eating. It was about 40 minutes from West Hollywood so we could get into the city and it was good to stay out of all the traffic.
The owner was so sweet. She let us check in early when her employee said there was no room available. Fridge, where the continental breakfast was pulled from, is outside and underneath the stairs, not a place for a fridge. Who knows the expiration date and temperature of the food. The place was more like a motel 6. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. The comforter was stained. Don't plan on sleeping because it was so loud the whole night. I felt nervous about our neighbors upstairs because I thought they were going to come through the roof.
The price It was close to the East LA Collage helpful clerk. nice cleaners The soap and shampoo didn't lather and the fridge was noisey
What it looked like The housekeepers took $10 that was sitting in my nightstand Management and customer service horrible
Firm beds. Quite. Well lit exterior. Nice shower. Carpet needed a good cleaning. If you don't like a firm bed this would not be the place for you.
The hitel grounds were well kept. The bathroom was clean. The breakfast was just milk, cereal, juice and pre-packaged danish.
Location Lack of tv channel selections.
Clean and good amenities for price
It's okay for the money. There is an AMC theater "literally" next door. The park is located in a predominantly (east) asian neighborhood, so if you are someone interested in this kind of a neighborhood, you will love it. Free breakfast, wifi and parking. There was no regular window to my room. There was a small window at the top of the wall, which is covered with small cloth and street light was coming in to the room through out the night. I felt like I was staying in a motel. The park is located in a predominantly (east) asian neighborhood, I kind of felt left out. I do not want to sound rude but I wouldn't have booked the hotel if I knew about this.
An Asian company bought this hotel about 2 months ago and it is no longer a best western, but Kayak lists them as a best western. The pictures that are posted do not accurately reflect what this place looks like. The doors face the street and it does not feel safe. I would not stay here again and am sketched out about using this search engine from now on.
it was close to a grocery story, which was nice for buying food and wine. Limited parking. Also it said that beds would be assigned after purchase, i could not pick how many before hand. They charged me an extra $20/night for 2 beds. At the price i paid i could have stayed in a better location, closer to the city.
All of the staff were so nice. They greet you everytime they seen us. The room was clean and they cleaned up everyday & we were there 4 nights. I would return .
The Staff. A Roach in the shower. Mens Underwear under the sink. Ac broke on the the last night and was given a fan.
Breakfast was good. There should have been a Microwave Oven in the room.
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
hotel was quiet at night, service was very good. central location with nearby quick amenities wifi needed a username and password daily.
Cleanliness Noisy, very bad breakfast, just bread, boiled eggs, margarine, jelly
It is very good, all staffs are very kind, clean room,. Brackfirst is very exccellent
I rented a Petfriendly hotel is why i Couldnt get the lowest price of the day understandable my room was paid in advance the hotel desk person asked for my credit Card then places ahold 100 fordamages when leaving he seen my Very small tensas 50 forð
free parking is great, room is clear and clean traffic noise from outside
Price The hotel was adequate. I did think some of the towels should be replaced. One of them had several holes in it.
Staff seemed to want to take care of problem . My bed had a bunch of what looked like dead skin from someone's feet/head. There was a dead ant and hair in the other. Pillows had dried blood spots (alá bed bug). It was a horrible experience. Neck and neck with the worst place I've stayed at save front desk.
The only good thing about this hotel is the location. There's plenty of shops and places to eat nearby, and it's located near two major freeways. They do offer free wifi, but that is something that I expect at all hotels these days, so I don't really consider it a plus. The connection seemed to run fine with the little that I used my phone during my short stay. I was very disappointed with the hotel seeing that they do not offer what you pay for. I called an hour before arriving to confirm my reservation and the man who answered was not very professional. I was about to hang up thinking I dialed the wrong number when he answered with a rude "Hello". When I arrived, the lady at the desk was not welcoming at all. She didn't even want to let me check in early, even though I had gotten the okay to do so (with an extra $20 fee) from the man over the phone. I never got a smile or thank you from that lady. Even though there was an obvious language barrier, a smile or nod would have been enough. They still have not upgraded their check in system. I was required to pay a $30 deposit - cash only! - and was given a regular key (not the swiping, more secure credit card types). Once I got to my floor, I had to take a guess at what room was mine since the room number was missing from the door. The room itself is terribly outdated and dirty in appearance. The carpet had many stains, including a large bleach stain (who knows what spilled there..), and the blanket felt grimy. I didn't even bother lifting up the sheets. I laid on some of my extra clothes instead. The bathroom appeared to be clean, but still was outdated with rusty faucets. Looks like nothing has been done to it since it was built in the 70s. Worst of all was the non-functioning air conditioning unit. It turned on just fine, but it never gave me the cool air I set it for. Even after giving it a chance to kick in, the air still came out too warm. Although it did help with some circulation, especially since it was quite humid that day, the vents were stuck pointing up to the ceiling. I had to move the round wooden table directly over the vents in order for it to force some of the air downwards. That was the only way I felt any relief. It didn't feel like the hotel's management would be responsive if I complained or asked for a different room, so I didn't bother. I checked out after only four hours of being there. Had I paid $50 or less dollars for the room, I may have expected to see what I saw. But for $84 a night, much more is expected. I've stayed in hotels in Pasadena, just 5-10 minutes to the north for about the same price, and received much better service and better quality rooms.
Nothing It is used as residential living and their tenants were questionable. There was trash left in the hallways. There was roaches in the bathroom. No clear direction on how to get to the second floor. Their idea of a dinning area had folding metal chairs and plastic tables. Not worth staying there again.
