Nicht sauber und schrecklicher Geruch
Es hatte die perfekte Lage
Zimmer, Teppiche, Bett, Matratze, Daunendecke, Kissen, Armaturen im Badezimmer alles ist sehr alt. Es riecht schlecht im Hotel.

Das einzige, was mir auch gut gefallen hat, war die Lage.
Die Zimmer waren nicht sauber. Unbequeme Betten. Alles in allem dringend einer Renovierung.
Sehr dreckig war, aber die Lage war sehr gut.
In der Nähe von Madison Square Garden.
Überhaupt nicht sauber und das Personal war unhöflich.

Das Zimmer war ekelhaft, schimmelig und am auseinanderfallen. Einchecken dauerte über eine Stunde. Einfach nur schrecklich.
Alles. Es war Schimmel im Zimmer und das Bad war in schrecklichem Zustand.
30 Min. warten beim Check-in mit nur 1 Angestellte. Andere warteten wahrscheinlich 50 Minuten
Heruntergekommene Zimmer, Insekten und Nagetiere, schlechte Klimaanlage, der Check-in war schrecklich.
Die Teppiche sind dreckig, lange Warteschlangen für den Check-in

I got stuck in NY when my flight was cancelled, and Hotel Pennsylvania had a room. The location is excellent - right across from Penn Station, so it was easy to catch my train the next morning.
The entire hotel is quite dated, and there were very few amenities in the room (no hair dryer or robe, just shampoo and soap). Check-in took 45+ minutes even at 11 pm.
The fact that i brought medical grade cleaning products with me.
Less bed bugs would be nice, less flies flying around, maybe vacuum once in a while. The place smelled like a corpse died in there. Black mold in the showers, and hardly any AC. Called 3 times no one came to fix. I tried to get a refund from PRICELINE.com which is another horrible site, charged and 85 fee for a 65 dollar room, and gave no refund for the appalling conditions we had to stay in. I will never use priceline again
1. They charged us $68 in fees because we reserved through third party 2. Lamp was broken 3. Mold on curtains 4. Paint peeling off walls 5. Phone did not work 6. No towels 7. No pillow cases nor bed quilt/cover 8. Ceiling had paper stuck to it 9. Windows were filthy. I have pictures of each of theses. I have used kayak before and stayed at the Penn. I was greatly disappointed. Staff were non responsive, we finally got towels, pillow covers and a new lamp, after we got a supervisor involved.
Stay was fine
They hit us with an unexpected 'facility fee' of almost $50 - for the new total price we could have stayed other locations we know that offer way more value for the money. Somebody's bait and switch - maybe our friends at Kaya..........?
The location can’t be beat. Unless you’d rather be somewhere else. Then that place would probably be better.
I understood the risk in taking their lower tier room to save some money but it seemed like the room hadn’t been updated or cleaned properly since the early 90s.
There was no breakfast, even web site of this hotel said it should be. We were complaining about it, but they said the hotel does not have it.. They also demanded additional $34.25 for hotel fees, and other taxes. The conformation we received did not mention about any other possible charges. I think we should be credited for additional charges.
Web site is not truthful about the facilities and what is included in reality.
Location was the best part
Always a line for check in/anything at the front desk. Doors block no sounds. Additional fees assessed.
I didn't like anything about this place it was poor quality and staff was very rude and disrepectful
The staff should be more professional the rooms need to be cleaned and updates for the price and location
