The extra-large Quantum-class Ovation of the Seas measures 1,138 feet and carries approximately 4,180 passengers. Launched in 2016, Ovation of the Seas is the joint fifth-largest cruise ship in the world. This enormous floating resort provides plenty of fun for families who want a holiday with all the modern amenities they could ask for.
Ovation of the Seas follows Asian itineraries. A number of routes are available, ranging from short two-night cruises to the nine-night Best of Japan option. In Fukuoka, Japan, guests admire the cherry blossoms and visit traditional shrines, while a shore excursion in Nha Trang, Vietnam, allows passengers to snorkel in clear blue waters.
The ship boasts 2,090 staterooms, with a crew of 1,500. These are some of the most luxurious and spacious cabins in the entire Royal Caribbean fleet, and even the inside rooms have virtual balconies displaying real-time ocean views. There are a number of suites and family accommodations available, including spa suites for guests who want to take full advantage of the ship's state-of-the-art spa.
Ovation of the Seas offers incredible entertainment options, including the North Star capsule which lifts passengers 300 feet above sea levels for amazing bird's eye views, the Ripcord by iFly which gives guests a virtual flying experience, and the Bionic Bar, where robots prepare beverages.
More traditional cruise options include the spa, casino, fitness center, and swimming pools. There's more than enough to keep the kids busy, too, including a partnership with Dreamworks that allows youngsters to meet some of their favorite characters. Ovation of the Seas is a thrilling cruise ship for all ages.
