Die Lage ist super. In 5 Gehminuten ist man in einem kleinen Einkaufsareal, und in 10 Gehminuten am Strand. Eine tolle Bar "Base" ist ein paar Häuser weiter. Restaurants sind am Strand gelegen. Das Haus war immer sehr sauber, tolle Haushälterin. Harry war sehr freundlich und hatte gute Tipps, Vorallem für gute Restaurants. Surfequipment kann man sehr unkompliziert und spontan leihen zu einem super preis! Toller Garten mit großen Tisch. Gemeinschaftsbad war immer sehr sauber und modern!

Das versprochene Angebot an Yoga Lessons war zu keinem Zeitpunkt vorhanden. Der Transfer hat auch nicht geklappt was richtig frustrierend war, so mussten wir ein Taxi für 120€ zur Unterkunft nehmen. Transfer gibt es wohl nur wenn der Besitzer nach Lissabon reinfährt. Ansonsten nicht! Das Bett war eine einige Katastrophe, mein Partner schlief 7 von 14 Tagen auf Isomatten (die "yogamatten des Hauses!!!) weil er so Rückenschmerzen hatte und wir keine Auge zu machen konnten. Wir hatte das Zimmer mit einem Bett von 130-150 cm breite. Ein "Schrank" war eine Kommode, die man nur mit Gewalt aufbekommt. Zudem eine Garderobenstange mit 3 Kleiderbügeln! Wir waren übrigens 2 Wochen in diesem Gästehaus! Also viel zu wenig Möglichkeit um Kleider aufzubewahren. Das Haus ist an sich sehr hellhörig und man wird auch gerne mal von den anderen Gästen aufgeweckt, wenn diese nachts in nicht Zimmer kommen und die Türe lauthals zu schlagen. Das Frühstück bot viel Auswahl, leider standen keine Produkte ohne Lactose oder Gluten zur Verfügung.

Baleal Zensations is five minutes’ walk from the beach. My room had a small balcony and the space is well designed and very clean. Breakfast is a buffet and has all you need. The manager is very efficient at giving information. There is a lovely garden and lock-up area for surfboards.

Negatives:- I agree with the previous reviewer:- The manager seems to use the sitting room as his office and cooks his lunch there in the guest kitchen. This can make guests feel uncomfortable to use these spaces to relax in. I don’t think he realises that doing his work in the guests' area messes up the definition of space. As guests, we feel “Oh, now we are sitting in your office.”. It was soooo much better on his days off! The lady who does these days is lovely. The internet connection is erratic. When I asked the manager, his response was “Well, it should work”. When I pointed out that yes, it should work but it evidently doesn’t, he had no helpful response. I thought it may have been because I had the back room, but other guests said their internet was virtually non-existent too. I was with my dog. I would say this guest house is more ‘dog tolerant’ than ‘dog-friendly’. Even though there is a garden, it is not secure and the gate is often left open. There are no dog bowls, poo bags or any of the usual things on offer. However, Peniche Dog Hostel is a great doggy daycare facility, about 10-minute drive, if you need it.

The proximity to the beach. The great information that Mario and Harri shared with respect to places to eat and things to do. Also, the shared spaces were well set up for eating and relaxing.
