Regatta, Oceania Cruises’ flagship cruise liner, offers an intimate and opulent experience. The 594-ft ship, which was built in 1998, underwent a multimillion-dollar transformation in 2014, creating a virtually new vessel that promises a fun and indulgent getaway.
The ship offers a number of cruises, including the 10-night Great Northwest voyage, from San Francisco to Vancouver, and the 31-night Pacific Sojourn, from Sydney to Los Angeles. Destinations range from Bali and Miami to Honolulu and San Francisco. Highlights might include driving into the mountains of Antigua when stopping at Puerto Quetzal in Guatemala, a food and wine tour in San Diego, or taking a surfing lesson on Waikiki Beach in Honolulu.
The Regatta caters to 684 guests and has a crew of 400. There are a number of suites and staterooms to choose from, all of which offer generous space and stylish interiors. Many even have a private veranda. In-room amenities include flat-screen TV with satellite channels, thick cotton robes and slippers, mini-bar, hairdryer, and safe. For the best of the best, the Owner’s Suite spans almost 1,000 square feet, has 24-hour butler service, and priority online restaurant reservations.
There are many dining options on board, with a main dining room, speciality restaurants, casual eateries, bars, and cafes. Entertainment and relaxation features include a swimming pool, a world-class fitness center and spa, tribute shows, and a casino. Whatever you’re in the mood for, you’ll find it on one of the nine guest decks.
