The Seven Seas Explorer is one of Regent Seven Seas Cruises' Explorer-class cruise ships. In service since 2016, the 375-ft Explorer is adorned with fine Carrara marble, gold leaf, and precious Czech crystal, and is acknowledged as one of the most opulent and luxurious cruise ships to ever set sail.
The Explorer offers an extensive selection of itineraries that cruise the world over. Just one example is the 24-night Tranquil Savannas & Sunsets tour, which travels from Lisbon to Cape Town, taking in beautiful destinations such as Funchal, on Portugal's Madeira Island, Abidjan on the Ivory Coast, one of Ghana’s last remaining tropical forests at Kakum National Park, and unspoiled Walvis Bay in Namibia. This is a unique trip guests will never forget.
The Explorer carries 750 guests and a crew of 552. Its 373 cabins are all ornately furnished and decorated, from the entry-level Veranda Suites, through the balconied Superior and Concierge Suites, to the unrivaled luxury of the Grand and Master Suites.
High-end restaurants on board the Explorer include the Pacific Rim, for traditional Asian cuisine, the Prime 7 steakhouse, and the modern French restaurant Chartreuse. For entertainment, there is a theater, casino and card room, and an observation lounge with musicians, as well as stylish bars and boutiques. Other onboard facilities include a well-equipped fitness center, a main pool, two whirlpools and a plunge pool, recreation area with putting greens and tennis, and luxury spa where guests can indulge in aromatherapy, seaweed treatments and facials.
