The rooms were clean but a bit small. Staff was great all around and very helpful. We booked 7 rooms and everyone was pleased. Only thing we were disappointed in was we were told the rooms had two queen size beds. They were only doubles. Even talked to girl at front desk when we came three weeks prior to stay, and she said they were queens.
The hotel was not a pleasant experience. The room was dirty, and the sheets smelled moldy and stale. The glass was filthy and you could see drink stains all over the furniture. Did not feel clean at all. The elevator was filthy. Was a very uneasy and unrestful night b/c of the dirty room. Would never go back.
Location Bathroom door locked your in, had to pry it open with our hotel key, Non-smoking room smelled like a chain smoker stayed in there for months, People were living in there
Close to town Wi-Fi Included Large Rooms Very Quiet Comfortable Bed Old Décor, outdated appliances, lighting Bathtub drained very slow
Simple, cheap way to spend the night in South Haven, MI. It wasn't right on the beach (although that's what made it so cheap). So when we went out drinking that night, we needed to take a cab both ways (about a 6 minute drive)
Nothing Room smelled. Damp and moldy. Walls are paper thin.
For the price, you can't beat it. Very short drive (minutes) from shops and the beach. Clean and nice rooms.
we wanted close to downtown without paying a high price. we felt it was a great value, clean and comfortable close to everything. And it break the bank.
The king size bed was very comfortable the shower was really hot the towels sufficient At check in my front desk person informed me of a 100.00 incidental deposit that there was no mention of on the website thankfully I had access to the cash but I just thought it was kinda of a shitty policy to enforce at check-in
