Positiv: (3/4) My friend finally came up from baggage claim and had told me that no bags came, and the staff member we were speaking to downstairs told us that our luggage was probably already on its way to Chicago. Note that he never asked for our names or our baggage claim ticket. We bought a plane ticket on Icelandair for the next afternoon, found an ACE Guesthouse to stay at, paid for another cab, and left with our carry-ons with nothing useful for overnight because of the first encounter at the check-in counter where we weren't able to properly remove our chosen belongings from our suitcases. The next morning after I woke up and as soon as I knew our original flight had landed, I tried to call O'Hare to confirm that our bags had indeed made it to Chicago. I was not able to get ahold of anyone that could help. When we got to the airport, 4.5 hours early, we checked in and went straight to baggage claim to double check where our bags were. We were not leaving Iceland until we were 100% sure of where our belongings were. Lo and behold, it's the same employee that was working in the baggage claim area the day before. He remembered us, and told us that he had good news and bad news. The good news was that they found our bags, the bad news was that was our bags were on their way to Boston. Boston? BOSTON?! He said they went to Boston because if there were bags left here, it was mandatory that they get sent as fast as they could to the country they are scheduled to arrive at, no matter what airport. That location happened to be Boston. We have NO idea why this was the case, when they knew that we had missed our flight and were still in Iceland. Isn't it mandatory that luggage stay with the owner? We wanted to call Boston to make sure that our bags were there, and to have them sent to Chicago so that they were in Chicago when we arrived later that day. He told us that there was nothing that we could do, that we would have to wait until we get to Chicago, file a claim, and then they would have our bags sent to us a day or so later. Note again, that he never asked for our names or our bag claim number. Begrudgingly, we left him, even more furious, and waited for our next flight. Meanwhile, I tried to get ahold of anyone from O'Hare – no luck. I tried to get ahold of anyone from Boston – no luck. Finally, I decided to call WOW Customer Service. I explained the situation to her, and told her that it was absolutely necessary to know where my bags were, and to know that they would be waiting for me in Chicago when I arrived, also questioning WHY protocol called for our bags being sent to Boston. She asked for the claim number, and told me the last time the bags were scanned was in Iceland. They were at the airport. I told her this was impossible, because I spoke to the same person the day before and today, and he said our bags were not at this airport. She insisted that they were.
Negativ: (4/4) At this point, a few hours had gone by, and we were running short on time. With AN HOUR left until our DEPARTURE TIME, we went back to baggage claim and told the same employee that WOW had told us our bags were scanned in here. He seemed confused, and said he was not sure how this could be possible. My friend spotted her bag behind him, and pointed it out. He seemed shocked. I didn't see my bag anywhere, and asked him where it was, and he said that maybe it got swapped out with someone else's, because he didn't see it. My friend asked him to please check the back for my suitcase. Sure enough, it was there. CLEARLY, this employee had no idea what he was doing. He gave us misinformation numerous times. If we had not been so persistent, we never would have known that our bags were still at KEF in Iceland. HOW WOULD WE HAVE GOTTEN OUR BAGS TO CHICAGO??????????? If I had listened to the guy and trusted him, we would have landed in Chicago, filed a claim, and seen that there were NO bags in Chicago, and NO bags in Boston. Our belongings would have been stuck in Iceland. We then had hardly any time to go back to the check-in counter and check our bags. We waited in another line, checked our bags, and ran to our gate. Every other KEF staff member that we tried to speak to was very short and rude, unhelpful, and in a hurry to get us out of the way. Even when we tried to find someone at a kiosk, there was no one there working the kiosk. Nearly every employee at KEF had lied to my face, and did not care that I needed help. If I had not been lied to about information regarding notifications, flights, baggage, etc. on numerous accounts, I know for a FACT that I would have made sure I made my flight. This experience is absolutely unacceptable. The incapable, rude, and dishonest airport staff and unaccommodating airlines costed us an extra $1,000 each. It also cost us the couple hundred dollars we would have made at work the next day. I will never fly WOW again. I will never fly to or through Keflavik International Airport again. I will never recommend WOW. I will never recommend KEF. This left such a bad taste in my mouth that I don't really ever want to go to Iceland again. And I know my friend feels the same way.

Negativ: I ordered Wheel chair for my parents but one of them didn't get it at all. When my parents were checking in for flight they asked the representative about meal selection and she didn't answer their questions properly and because of that my mom didn't get proper Hindu Vegetarian food on flight instead she got Egg omelet which she couldn't eat. She has to eat just fruits. My mother is a diabetic patient and she needs a food every after some time. I never had such a bad experience before with any other airlines.
Positiv: Really liked the new touch screens (with very good responsiveness). Also liked the food selection (the champagne was nice, so was the menu we were given).

Negativ: make passengers from Nigeria to feel respected and important. Imagine no entertainment in the aircraft in addition to a very poor food.
Negativ: I have never been in a situation were a flight has been delayed due to the co-pilot suffering a knee injury prior to take off. A request for a doctor on board after an hour or so and then having to leave the plane and then re-board after about 40 minutes was quite bizarre.

Negativ: In this 10 hr flight cabin crew came down the aisle only twice to offer refreshments. There should have been offers of at the least water or juice more than twice on this length of fight. I was disappointed that there were no hot drink e.g. coffee or tea offered at any time, not even with the meal, but this was certainly the least of our disappointments. Only once on this flight did I see a cabin crew member smile. Don't know why, but they were a most unhappy crew that day and this was conveyed to the passengers. I find this hard to believe, and perhaps both my husband and I fell asleep for the few minutes this would have taken, but neither one of us saw a crew member check for seatbelts and seat position before landing in TO. Boarding gate wasn't announced until an hour before boarding, which on an international flight from a large airport was a little stressful, but I am assuming there was a good reason for this.

Positiv: I liked the explanation given by the pilot when we finally got our seats on the plane. Apparently one of the computer racks wouldn't switch on, so they changed some other computer racks, and then the delay was two hours so he decided we could go flying without the broken bit. No doubt they'll be having another attempt to fix it during the next delayed turn around, or he'll phone up tech support and do a factory reset.
Negativ: The crew called the gate, allowed the entire flight to pass through the gate and then as we stood in the boarding gang way told us the flight had been delayed by the captain but they did not have any more information. We were then held for 2 hours sitting on the floor because the crew had taken our boarding cards and didn't want us to return to the terminal. At least I didn't pay for any upgrades as that was a just sitting on the floor closer to the plane. Funny how the plane miraculously got better when people started to talk about compensation!

Positiv: When you lose your phone in the business class seat and a technician goes to find it once you land in Zurich and the day that it has miraculously disappeared there isn’t much to like at all about Swiss Airlines. Swiss Airlines isn’t going to hear the end of this is they don’t agree to replace my son’s phone. My husband is a lawyer and we are prepared to bring this to the public.
Negativ: My son dropped his phone in business class seat and the ground staff technician claimed it wasn’t there. Theft at its best! Swiss Air better take responsibility for their shady staff and agree to replace my don’s Phone promptly or we will take this to the public eye and courts. I’m sure we could get a big class action suit.

Negativ: The plane was small, it rattled and shook a lot and the size of the seats is ridiculous. The bathrooms did not have warm water and the sense of comfort is to be found only in business and first class. We fly to Zurich a lot because we have family there and we always take SWISS for a direct flight. They have old planes, the little TVs by the seats may or may not work and although the crew is nice and well trained, they cannot substitute for the discomfort of 10 hours flights in a crammed place. Sorry SWISS.

Negativ: Electrical plug is right at your knee level. Bread is rock hard an inedible. Plane felt very dry compared to other Delta planes. Would be good to know when the Wifi will be off (as it is off as we "approach the North Pole"). I wish we didn't have to repack bags that are over 52lb.
Negativ: I now know the downside of buying through Kayak, the ticket is non-upgradable even when seats became open and I offered to pay for the upgrade.

I ended up sick to my stomach for the remainder of the flight. Average height to tall individuals do not fit well laying down in the seats.

Negativ: SAS like other airlines gives you a chance to bid on a nicer seat. If the offer is accepted, your card is charged the amount you bid and you are upgraded. If your offer is not accepted, you keep your seat and are not charged for bidding. I placed a bid for a nicer seat and was informed the day before the flight that my bid was rejected. But when the plane was boarding, I went to the man at the desk and asked if the plane was full. He informed me that it was not, and that I could pay roughly $300 for economy plus, or $1000 for business class. Online, I was ALLOWED to bid $200 for the economy plus seat. If they are going to reject this offer and then have the seat fly empty, they are a bunch of dicks. They had a chance for me to be a happier customer and to make more money. Now they lost both. What was also terrible is that when I family with an infant was moved up a few seats, I suggested to the lady next to me who wanted the newly vacant aisle seat that she ask the flight attendant for it. The flight attendant said it was fine. As the lady sitting next to me went to her her new seat, and old man from a few rows up took it. Another flight attendant had promised it to him. So, now the two of us are crammed, she's pissed that the seat she said she could have she couldn't, and I'm there like "My god, they wouldn't even take my money to let me have a nicer, EMPTY, seat." Poor communication, poorly run. Try another airline.
Negativ: We seen other flights go out to the same destination before ours even though everyone should be delayed by the weather. Even flight taking off an hour after our scheduled flight got there a few hours earlier.
Negativ: I intensely disliked the 3 hour delay in Copenhagen!!! And that SAS offered the passengers in transit a meal voucher of only 50 danish Kronas, which was just enough to buy a tall Starbucks coffee drink but not enough to eat anything at the airport!
Negativ: SFO-Copenhagen was cancelled. Only hint for that came from Kayak which I didn't even use for booking (I used Flyus). Sas and Flyus didn't notify us and sas customer service had to actually use 5 min to verify that flight was cancelled after we called them. That left some poor rebooking options. Anyway, I am very disappointed how Sas didn't notify us. It would have been even nastier if we had got to the airport before realizing that flight was cancelled.
