After a harrowing cab ride to the airport in which our driver continuously ignored my request to follow the GPS insisting that he knew faster shortcuts, we arrived 40 minutes later than intended. Additionally he dropped us off at the wrong terminal such that we finally arrived at the KLM gate an hour later than we had planned. This was especially frustrating as we are traveling with two small children and made every effort to be punctual and leave early to be sure we got there with time to spare. Not the case today. All of that I could deal with, but when we arrived at the KLM counter, and I apologized to the attendant staff member that we were late and explained that our cab driver got lost, she responded by chastising us first in Spanish and then in broken English. She made sure to make it clear to us that it was our fault and we should not blame the Argentinian cabdriver. The cabdriver was not actually Argentinian, but that is totally besides the point. I was totally taken aback to be treated so rudely as a greeting at the airline counter. My wife share the same sentiment. Nothing like this has ever happened to us before. Thank God, every single airport personnel and of course KLM staff member on board was incredibly kind and accommodating of our children subsequent to this. It saved what otherwise could've been a terrible experience."

We boarded more quickly than any flight I've been on, and although boarding started 10 minutes later than scheduled, we departed exactly on time."

We were 50 minutes late leaving. This resulted in many of us either missing or having extremely tight (stressful) connections at CDG Paris."

CDG (Charles DeGaulle airport) is poorly laid out and poorly run, in my opinion, starting with the landing of our flight. After waiting over a half an hour after landing to de-board, we were given much information In trying to get to the proper places to check certain baggage items, and we walked up and down and around a whole terminal trying to get to the proper gait. This is not the first time I've had a bad experience at this airport. Thankfully, the flight itself after that horrendous experience was good."

Food options were ok, the food itself was garbage. In flight entertainment was pathetic. Cabin crew was not great either. All in all, wouldn't recommend Air France to a friend or family. Too many other good options out there."

Positiv: "The flights where on time, and there were not issues between transfers. They provided 2 meals on out 9+ hour flight that were unexpected as everything I read indicated that there would be no on flight meals provided, so that was nice. There was always one little thing in the meal that was a bit weird, but overall the meals were rather good. And once they put on the movies, they kept them coming, which really helped the time pass on such a long flight."
Negativ: "It might just be a cultural thing, but the crew was less than friendly. They didn't appear to enjoy their job at all and rearly smiled, which I found odd as I took a total of 4 flights and only the male attendants on one flight smiled.... but after seeing the typical cliental they have to deal with I guess I can understand their dislike! (If I had to deal with people allowing their children to run around like animals for 10 hours with not a word against their actions I might be a bit pissed as well!) And with all airline, they shrink the seats to cram as many people on the plane as possible, so the seats were not altogether that comfortable, but again, that's all airlines. Other wise the only technical issue that I wish should have been disclosed is in Venice there is no Counter for Ukraine Air, they use another airline as their counter support so it was a bit confusing and frustrating when they where unable to print both tickets! Had to get in separate line in Kiev to get second boarding pass."

Only 2 agents at check-in meant that event those without checked luggage had to wait a very long time and could not use online check-in, either (since they had no seat). Other airlines have kiosks at the airport, but not UIA. UIA also regularly books multiple passengers on the same flight with the same seat, so that's a common surprise when you get on the plane (this happened to me last time and to someone I randomly met this time). The needlessly slow/long line to get a boarding pass meant a rush to get to the gate to get a ticket to get on the plane. It was no surprise that the plane took off late as a result, but in the end, I think everyone got their seat and made it to Ukraine. No entertainment on flight; food costs extra even though it's an international flight on a supposedly international carrier. At least I didn't get dumped in a foreign country for a night like my parents the last time that they took UIA!"

Negativ: "Service. FOOD IT WAS SO DIRTY! FLY ATTENDANTS DIDN'T DO ANYTHING ! FOR 10 HOURS OF FLIGHT THEY DID NOT OFFER EVEN WATER You have to look FOR them They're was sitting and reading books Never ever again I will fly by this airline I forgot TO mention about extra money for seats and check in"
Negativ: "Despite the booking and web check in , we were told that the flight is overbooked and we must rebook for later flight!"
Negativ: "I did not print my tickets at home, decided to print it at aeroport , and I was charged for printing boarding pass for $17.34 for each!!!!! Never heard or experienced something like this ever with any flight companies.. I did not get any notifications about these charges, otherwice would print my board passes ar home. Then in the back of aircraft, I saw how the personell was filling up the juice bottles from one to another!!! Food was very poor. Some movies were just in French or Italian languages without subtitles. Poor choises. I will never fly Or recommend anybody to fly with them"
Positiv: "Crew was nice"
Negativ: "Cramped seats. No elbow or leg room. No entertainment. Food was low quality for a long trip like this. We left 1 hour late, no explanation given. They charged me for not printing my boarding pass. When I tried to check in online my e-ticket could not be found, I explained that to them but didn’t care and got charged anyway. We got bumped to a later flight which made me lose my connection at JFK."

Negativ: "Seats, food, drink option( I had to pay for a coke), entertainment system all these were terrible. Plus we're delayed 7 hours on top of 3 hours layover it was just a bad airline company"
