Very comfortable hotel with nice...

Room was really very nice, modern and comfortable with a cool glass shower toilet facility. Staff were friendly. The location at the Gare is convenient for the city and for public transport.

A stay for a work...

A really central and convenient hotel, especially for a small stay in Luxembourg. The breakfast was rich and fresh all the time! The room was spacious and had a great view. Cleanliness was another advantage of this stay! There is a reason why it is such a historic hotel.

Superb

The room I have was quite big with large windows. The breakfast was very good. Staff helped me with finding the cheap parking - finally I have parked in P+R Bouillon Luxembourg card was sold here. Location - good connection to all parts of the country by public transport (bus / train) and also to other parts of the city (walk 15 minutes to city center or use by bus, to other parts of the city by bus and train to Kirchberg) Supermarket few minutes a walk.

I have nothing special to mention but if you choose this hotel you should take into account its location. As at any other main train stations of capitals there are people asking you for money. Also airport is few km from the centre so you can be woken up by landing plane. I hope that the construction of the tram line will be finished soon But as I wrote above I had been prepared for all of these and I would chose this location again.

Good location beside the station - room was air conditioned which was welcome in this heat. Room was clean and staff were lovely. Would recommend.

The breakfast bar was busy when we came down and as it's not self service we had to queue for 20 minutes before getting to the top of the queue. I would suggest going down earlier to make sure you're not waiting too long. But the breakfast was tasty and the croissants were so fresh!!!

The breakfast was delicious! There were plenty of options. Staff was friendly, but I did have some trouble ordering breakfast due to a language barrier. It is a good proximity to the main train station. A lot of noise outside, but the windows blocked most of it. Clean facilities and comfortable rooms. Check in and check out was very easy too. The neighborhood was a little sketchy in my opinion, but nothing unmanageable. Overall a good experience.

The noise from the construction and train station and airport was very loud so I had to keep my windows shut. Keeping my windows shut made my room very despite having the fan in my room. Really my only dislike about the hotel.

This hotel is situated perfectly for exploring Luxembourg capital and with the train station opposite you can explore further out into the countryside. Definitely recommend!

The hotel is in a central point in front of the central Gare of Luxembourg and all bus stations , only 10 minutes on foot from the city center. The room was big with huge windows and very clean (everyday cleaning provided). The breakfast buffet was rich (both warm and cold dishes, great variety). The staff was kind and very helpful.

My room was on the front of the hotel overlooking the train station and main road therefore it was noisy

The hotel is located very conveniently for access to the train station and local buses. The breakfast was excellent and the hotel bar was great as well.

Safe, clean and friendly staff. Good location and walking distance to city centre. Just across Luxembourg Central Train Station too.

Nothing that I didn't like.

I loved the location in front of Luxembourg rail station. The room was nice and well equipped, the bathroom was clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast was good with diverse dishes. The welcome drink offered at the bar was very welcome and appreciated.

If I had to be fussy, I'd have preferred a better pillow, and some milk for the coffee in the room would have been great. Otherwise, excellent hotel.

All was great: polite staff, clean room, internet.... I had to leave hotel at 4 a.m. because early flight. I was surprised when hotel staff prepared breakfast to me at 3:30 a.m.. Breakfast was very delicious with different kind of food and drinks. Thank a lot to Empire hotel!!!

Great location , very close to bus station and train station. Breakfast was good and the staff very welcoming. We will definitely stay in the same hotel if we vist Luxembourg again.

Their breakfast was awesome!room was very clean and new. bed was really comfortable. Staff was great.

Small comfortable room. Near train station and city center. The hotel has a nice bar with a compliment cocktail for guests.

Payment after check out (I paid when check in, because I had early check out. The hotel staff have not been want to let out me). I had to search and show a payment receipt.

The location, stuff member, room size and room facilities are super nice compare to its price. I strongly recommend travellers (one or two persons) choose this hotel when you go to Luxembourg if you don't stay in very luxury hotel with a high price.

Excellent... friendly staff.. clean.. good breakfast.. location couldnt be better! Close to center... shops.. restaurant and most important to transport stations.. train exactly opposite.. bus stops infront of hotel. It also includes a bar/restaurant which got good food and relaxing atmosphere for a drink.

Location is just across the train station.

The bed where I slept was not comfy at all.

Check in and check out was efficient. The superior room was spacious, well equipped and well heated during our December stay. The beds were very comfy. The location in front of the main train station was excellent for the number 16 bus from and to the airport - €2 each way per person. The hotel is a 15/20 minutes walk to the city centre and down to The Grund district.

Breakfast was limited and there was no English breakfast tea available.

Very clean and great breakfast

As a solo female traveler I really liked this hotel. The hotel is located right across from the train station (with some shops that are open until late) so I didn't have to walk a lot with a heavy backpack. Although it is located in a busy area it is a very quiet hotel. The room was very clean and neat and the shower is heavenly. There are multiple supermarkets nearby and a coffee shop next door. It is a ten minute walk to the old city center but on your walk you come across many fun shops. You can also take a bus to the city center. Breakfast was great, lots of option and the breakfast area was quiet and clean. Staff is kind and although they were renovating the hallways, the hotel was very neat. Would totally recommend!

The only thing I missed was a mini fridge, so I could store some drinks and food. And the television only had two channels but these are just minor things.

The location is directly opposite Luxembourg's main railway station and bus terminus, so is ideal for anyone moving around the area by public transport. The rooms are of not a bad size, if not huge, and the en-suite bathrooms are clean and functional, although ours did not seem to have an extractor fan. The bar/breakfast room is pleasant and airy, with lots of windows, and the breakfast buffet itself is quite wide-ranging. The staff are pleasant and helpful. I have been back to this hotel as few times, so it must be alright! Do try the complimentary water from the jug at reception, which is flavoured with all sorts of fruits, and is delicious!

There isn't much to dislike here, although a swimming pool or sauna might be a good addition, we have to accept that space is at a premium in such a busy central location. It is not a fancy hotel, but is a good, honest place, which does what it says on the tin!

Friendly, accommodating staff. Excellent breakfast - delicious breads, shakshuka, Christmas treats and fresh espresso were all a bonus! Nice touch with a welcoming drink. Comfortable rooms, nicely appointed and decorated. Excellent value for money.

Room was a bit dark. Hot dishes at breakfast could have been warmer. Location is convenient to the train station but not exactly a salubrious area (although only a 15min walk to the centre).
