The staff was excellent!

At first we had city facing room that was too noisy, but we changed to a park view room and it was perfect.

Staff were friendly and professional - special thanks to the lady who was working in the wellness center, sorry I didn’t catch her name. Chocolates at turndown are a nice touch. The hotel had great measures in place for preventing the spread of corona virus. Really great location and surprisingly quiet!

The hotel location is very convenient for walking and sightseeing. Moderately priced taxis provided very quick access to nightlife and tremendous options for dining. The hotel buffet breakfast, while pricey, is exceptional. The piano bar has a wide selection of standard to wonderful liquor choices. The pool is smaller than you would think from the pictures, but is very clean and nice. The sauna, steam room, cold dip tank, showers and locker area were all clean and neat. They even have a tanning bed for a nominal fee! The staff was bilingual, friendly and informative. Rooms were clean and well appointed.

Valet was very helpful with automotive issue.

The welcome was excellent and very warm. The meals at both restaurants were exquisite as was the service.

The payment scheme of where they put a block on your credit card effectively results on double billing. The block stays on for 48 hours but the final payment comes on TOP of that. I've stayed at other hotels in Lux which do not practice this option; however, I am used to it from the US where that is routinely done.

The property is lovely and in an excellent location. The room was large and clean. This is an outstanding property, and I would absolutely stay here again.

Unfortunately sauna and swimming pool were not available due to renovations of the facility. Checking on minibar early in the morning even it was clearly marked DO NOT DISTURB

Stay away from Sunday breakfast. Had an all in flashback: too many people, not enough staff, not enough food, long waiting times to get served. Went into the city (conveniently around the corner) for breakfast since. The room facing the service entry at the back means you get a free of charge 7am wake up call from the lorries and staff supplying the hotel.

The staff are friendly and very professional. Beautiful hotel service impeccable. They also have two in house restaurants with lovely food. Indoor pool and spa an added bonus.

Very comfortable hotel with excellent staff [especially the concierges]. The swimming pool/gym very nice too.. predominantly a business hotel but still welcoming of tourists. Excellent breakfast. Other facilities good too.

Bar was a bit characterless.... more importantly I was in a Club room, so quite expensive, yet the door to the bathroom very loose and banged you when on the toilet. Despite complaining, nothing done about it.

Beautiful 1980 building. Excellent renovation To the rooms. Good choice that the original spa was kept. The piano bar ambiance was super nice on Friday night, staff were amazing.

I would expect tea and coffee facilities in rooms. Staff could be more prepared to give personalized adresses for bars and restaurants.

Great location for exploring Luxembourg. We were travelling with our 11 month old baby and dog. We were made to feel very welcome.

Perfect location, very close to all amenities, easily accessible. Luxury accommodation with the best of everything. Restaurant and breakfast facilities were excellent. Staff was very nice and went out of their ways to accommodate you. Highly recommended.

Spacious room and nicely decorated, recently renovated with latest technology needed to make our life enjoyable and comfortable in the room, the bar is very nice and highly recommended.

Lovely convenient location for walking around the compact city. The room at the back was very quiet and immaculately clean. Beautiful decor and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It was a treat to stay here and I would stay again.

The breakfast is not included and cost 62 Euros for two but it was the best breakfast I have ever seen in a hotel.

- They go the extra mile: someone came to make our beds every night and left chocolates and slippers with a good night message. - The location is great! Close to all the shops and restaurants, everything we needed was walking distance. - The hotel accepts dogs and even provided us with a dog bed and pots for food and water - The parking on site is convenient and not anymore expensive than other public parking around the city - The room is big, bed is comfy and the shower is spacious and clean. - Fast wifi

- €30 euros/per night extra for the dog. Not really a complaint, but it is not specified before booking there is a charge and how much it costs.

Everything was great. Facilities, staff, room, food. My wife really appreciated the concierge who kept an eye out for our 16 months old daughter while she roamed the lobby and he literally saved her from injuries a few times. Hero!

The underground parking at -2 could use a ramp.

Very friendly receptionists, which is important after a long day of travel.

This hotel is perfect. Very exclusive and elegant. Our room is very clean and the staffs are friendly. In the afternoon while we were out,the staff/staffs came in and prepare the room for sleeping. It was so lovely. The location is perfect as well, not in the middle of the city but is very near to famous tourist spots in the place.

The Royal in Luxemburg is one of my favourite places, breakfast is impressively good and the staff all round is amazing

Everything was perfect: the beautiful and spacious room, the friendly and welcoming staff, the position of the hotel, the SPA, the airport shuttle... Everyone was so kind and professional. It was an amazing weekend.

During the check in they asked for my credit card saying that it was just a pre-authorization for the final payment. However the money had been taken from my card and it was 60€ more than what I've booked on this site. They told me it was just a deposit so I did not worry. But then during the checkout they wanted me to pay again (the right amount this time) saying that they will give the deposit back to me in a few days (which I'm still waiting btw). Everything was solved in the end but you should be clearer about this thing. Also I think that it's a little bit illogical asking the guests to pay twice: I've been to many hotels and I've never heard of this before; I just needed to tell the n° of the room and then pay everything at the end.
