Poor
The staff and the clarity in room was very bed . The towels very used , water was leaking in bathroom- we had superior room and nothing was super in spite of view. Very bad breakfast. They have you only 1 piece per cheese and ham , there was no vegetable in offer, very poor food .
Beautiful views
Lovely and clean, modern accommodation and great hosts. The view of the sunset was amazing and only 15 minute walk into Oia town
Bed creaked a bit when you move but that literally was the only thing
Very good
Everything
Anything
Poor
Pool view
Breakfast poor smell wery bad bathroom.
great location but awful bed
the staff, the view, the room, the location
the mastress, the breakfast
Difficult acces even by car
What we liked the most was the pool, and that it was near OIA but after we figured out that it wasnt so close, because the roads to acces the hotel where complicated( by car ). The sunset is very nice
The access and that they are very strict with the timings. Check in is late and check out so early. We asked for a better room with better views, and then talking to other guests we figured out that the best views are the ones you see from the upper apartments with smaller terrace because they have a higher location rather than the room they offered to us (paying 40 euros more), that it has a bigger terrace but worse views. Eitherways it was very good.
Exceptional
Perfect breakfast and lovely view from the window
If you have a car,...
1. The size of our room with two specific beds. 2. the view from the terrace and the terrace by itself. 3. The big swimming pool, under the sun all day long and with a great view of the Eagan sea and the sunset as well. 4. The familial style of the hosts (with their grey cat), who take care of their guests and give the best advice and support they can
1. The breakfast was not at the level that what is currently expected in a Mediterranean place (lack of fresh fruits, not enough variety, industrial orange juice). 2. The specific location will make you walk 15 minutes under the sun to reach Oia Center and it is not well connected to public transportations.
Amazing views with an amazing...
The view, the location and the pool! Christine was so helpful and friendly! I was able to relax by the pool during my stay.
I like big windows with a lot of light. The traditional houses have smaller windows.
Clean, big and comfortable rooms,...
Good location with 18 minute walking distance from Oia, very big and comfortable rooms, nice view to the north side of the island. The rooms were also very clean and we had new clean sheets and towels every day! There is a beautiful swimming pool and every room has its private terrace. We loved the friendly staff and how they were able to arrange for us the cruise to the volcano and to Thirasia island. The view from the roof terrace where we had breakfast was amazing, and the property was right next to the main road, making it easy to reach by bus from Fira (main city). We also got a better price for our booking. Generally, it was a very fair price for what we got.
Keep in mind that the bus to Fira is not passing outside the property anymore, which means that you will need to get to Oia in order to get the bus to Fira. This means you will need a car or to walk. In general you will need a car, just like anywhere else you will stay on this island or in most other locations in Greece. The kitchen corner is very basic, only a sink and fridge available.
A bit disappointing
Good location. Nice views from the pool. Great lighting of all the pool area at night.
Our first room was awful and not according to the description (the supposed "cozy" room was actually in a semi-basement with no view and only one tiny window and of course no private balcony contrary to what was advertised, even though we had called a week before to double-check we had a balcony...). They only allowed us to switch to a proper room the second day and it took a long time for them to even recognize their own mistake. Also, breakfast was quite poor (in quality and quantity). Regarding the beds, the one in the first room had a terrible mattress (our backs hurt for days) but the one in the second room was great, make sure to check that as soon as you check in ! In general, the hotel was ok but much less amazing than the photos on booking.com suggest. And the staff wasn't always helpful (compared to the rest of the hotels we've been to in Athens and Santorini) and charged you for everything (including water, contrary to all the other places we stayed in in Greece). One last but very important detail : the hotel is not on the Caldera side and you don't see the volcano (but you still have a very nice view and can see the sunset).
The room was spacious and comfortable. The swimming pool had a nice view of Oia and the sea. The staff were nice and the whole ambience of the place was very pleasant. Definitely recommend this Villa.
The breakfast was ok but repetitive and slightly boring after 2 times
The price was very good The location, very close the Oia The complex of villas/rooms is very nice, everything is white. The terrace has a nice view to the sea and Oia Our room was very nice and big, we had a superior room.
All the services were very poor: Breakfast was very very poor. Btw a funny fact was that we did not receive any dessert, but we noticed that a greek lady was served with some cake. So we understood that the cake is only for the greek guests :))))) In the room was a note saying that because of the Covid-19 situation, they will not clean the room during our stay. But this was not the same in the other hotel we stayed. We asked them if it is possible to check out at 12 instead of 11 (at least for 1 room, because we had 2 rooms) - it wasnt`t possible. They told us they are very busy. Hard to believe this with the Covid-19 situation, when there are not so many tourists.
The exterior, the interior, the welcoming host, everything.
-
The staff were very nice, breakfast was very nice and the swimming pool was perfect.
It is an easy walk to the center of Oia
The 1 person staff running the entire place, Katerina was the worst host. Too young and inexperienced to deal with the role. Very unhelpful, generally said no to all requests. Felt more like a strict boot camp run by a young female Hitler than a happy holiday location. She argued with most guests as they checked in and checked out.
Beautiful setting and accommodation. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast. Relaxing and quiet location, away from the bustle of Oia yet just a short walk into town.
The staff was very helpful, location was beautiful, quick walk to Oia, and breakfast was lovely!
Beds were just a bit stiff and towels were old.
Great location and great staff!
Pillows are a bit hard
This place has a crown jewel working there. Katerina, the receptionist and hospitality hostess, made my stay comfortable and special. She goes above and beyond to make sure the guests Are taken care of. And, her English is quite good. Every recommendation she made for what to see, do, and where to eat, was spot on! The Villa is in an Excellent location. Quite, but the town, Oia, that you see in all those postcards is within walking distance. Agnadi Vila has The most incredible views of the sunset And sea. The pool is deep enough to dive into- clean, crystal clear, cold water! My room, 14, had an exceptional view of the water and sunset. The room was clean and had mini fridge, dishes, and silverware to use. Overall, I was very satisfied with the room. I paid close to $180 a night, I feel I got a good deal given the above details. Much better than staying in one of the super expensive, crowded, noisy Cliffside resorts. The shuttle driver, Fortiz(?) was awesome, as well. Very polite, even pulling over to some picturesque sites so I could take some photos.
The bed was too firm for me ( but I like a soft mattress ). Wi-Fi in the room was a little slow. That was easily remedied by doing my work on the patio outside! Suggestions… It might be good to offer a warm breakfast option such as scrambled eggs or potatoes.. personally. I was fine with the breakfast as I usually just eat yogurt in the morning. And,, I would get rid of the Stone wall on two sides of the pool and put plexiglass up instead- Making it more of an infinity feel! All of this, however, is outweighed by all the positives of this place!
Beautiful swimming pool and room! Close to town. Peaceful. Receptionist was very friendly!
Some staff were unfriendly. No warm breakfast was served.
Really good view
The staff was not really nice actually
Great hotel, just a little out of town though. Awesome views, superb staff on reception who helped us with loads of things and couldn't do more for us (top marks!), superb deep pool area and close (walking distance) to 2 great restaurants (highly recommend Santorini MOU for food and the 3 guys playing Greek music - it's great local place) and awesome views for breakfast if weather is ok to sit up on the roof
The bed was pretty uncomfortable with springs that squeek with the very slightest of movement. Towels were very old and should be changed as it took away the quality feel of the hotel and breakfast choice was limited (although adequate) - coffee was cold for example. Nothing that wouldn't stop us going back but a few tweaks would really elevate this hotel
It was individual suites. Breakfast is included. IA is a 20 Minute walk away.
They don’t really accommodate for early check in. Breakfast is not great. During the mid season all other hotels have hot tubes this hotel does not so it’s not comfortable to be in the pools. Staff wasn’t very clean on locations or restaurants recommendations near by. There are many rules that the hotel expects you to follow which includes not eating in your room, quiet hours, and no drinking in or around the pools.
Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was great - cold options but nothing to complain about! Pool was awesome and the hotel has an amazing view. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Short walk into Oia (~25 minutes) which was nice as it gave the option to escape the more touristy areas for a more relaxing stay in Santorini. There is also a bus stop directly outside of the villas which made it really easy to get into Thira/Fera. Would definitely recommend and I hope we can return! Thanks for everything Katerina!!
We loved the recommendations staff gave for places to eat/go. The pool and view were beautiful. Breakfast buffet was a nice touch.
Very close to oia (20 min walk) AMAZING view of the sunset. Katarina was really helpful with anything we needed. There is parking if you rent a car. Santorini Mou taverna was our favorite spot for drinks and an evening snack or dinner we went back 3 times! Continental breakfast was good.
The only downside is the bed was uncomfortable and really creaky Everytime we rolled over.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The villa was very comfortable.
The location is good and has a attractive view, the breakfast was perfect, The staff was very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our honeymoon
the pool wasn’t clean all the time
Great location to Oia! Room was clean, staff very hospitable! Breakfast was good with a variety of selections.
Inadequate toiletries. And, needed a simple clothesline.
Not much unfortunatly...
The location of the hotel is misleading; it is not in Oia, but Finikia, on the outskirts. We are treated like children by the staff. Can't take coffee cups to the rooms, can't take pool towels to the beach or sailing, can't go on the terrasse... There is no coffee or tea in the room, no hairdryer, very cheap shampoo/soap. The beds are creaky and uncomfortable. They make you feel like you are not welcome, I have never felt like this anywhere! I could go on and on, but I would rate this hotel more like a hostel, very disapointed, would not recommend this to anyone.
Very close to the center for the price
Not an amazing breakfast
Great staff, great rooms, nice little pool and bar and everything you need. We had a lot planned while we were in Santorini and we traveled around quite a bit but it was nice to come back and relax by the pool or have a drink. Definitely would recommend!
A little far from Oía (about 20 minutes walking) but nice and quiet area from the busy town. Breakfast was good (similar to a continental breakfast in the US) although it was the same every day so a little variety would have been better.
Really nice quiet hotel away from the hustle bustle of the heart of Oia. Reception lady Katerina was most helpful and helped us with tips and ideas. All staff were friendly. We had a really nice boutique room with a lovely view. Walk to town is about 20 minutes. Compared to those hotels in town it was so nice to NOT have tourists walk past when you're in your bedroom or lying by the pool! Great value for money
The breakfast was ok, the room was very nice and the bathroom looked amazing. The pool was nice and had a great view
the extremely rude staff was a total turn off and the wifi barely worked and was extremely slow. Also ants. Lots and lots of ants everywhere.
The view.
The staff's attitude. The buffet breakfast was lacking. It only had a few items. Not what was expected. Could not use terrace at all times. Towels were not changed everyday so they stayed moist. Were not allowed to place outside to dry. Not a warm and inviting place. Have stayed at so many places and never had such an experience.
Beautiful place with helpful staff, amazing view
The breakfast was disappointing, tinned fruit with cereal, cold boiled eggs, A very basic breakfast not up to standard for the advertisement of a luxury villa.
The rooms are not like the photos. In fact I suggest that the photo display is quite inaccurate to what is offered. The most important was the description. NOT accurate. The advertisement says the property is in Oia. Not true, It is located in Finikia. When this was queried we were told, just catch the bus! This is not appropriate if you have a disability.
The wonderful sight of the sunset from the room. The swimming pool
I paid for a superior apartment with sea view for eleven days and on the first day I was accommodated in a standard apartment, and instead of apologizing I was told that I had paid for the standard apartment and that they kindly offered me a superior apartment for the rest of the days. They also charged me again the government tax for the night that I had already paid on my booking.
Pool was lovely - Perfect for Sunset views so you don't have to be surounded by 300 other people like you would be if you went into Oia town for it. Rooms were spacious and clean, towels changed every other day which was okay because they leave an extra set in the room for the pool which you can use for showering, we had our own with us for the pool.
We were further out from Oia than I thought from the address of the property, 25 minute walk which was okay, straight road, taxi would have cost 25euro as cars have to go a different route.
The location
Bathrooms are outdated and beds are hard and there was no laundry facility other than tipping(paying) the maid to do our laundry
Great location to see the beautiful sunset but so far away to walk to the Centre because the location is difficult to get bus or taxi. The stuff is very nice but very earlier to work off, if u want enjoy the food in this villa, you will very earlier to order! The environment is great and comfortable and clear and u can enjoy the swimming pool with the wonderful sunset without so many people and u don’t need to go to Centre. The villa is not bed but I will recommend u need to rent a car!!!
Good breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff. Good value for the price
Rooms were pretty badic
Location
Wasn’t what was expected, rooms didn’t meet expectations, said half mile out of Oia, nearer 2 mile
See above
The room was very comfortable and quaint. The attentiveness of the staff was superb.
There weren’t many options for breakfast. Our room did have a few ants
Cleanliness.
The hotel does not have any kind of kitchen facilities . Not even a microwave. The location is far from eat outs. So its difficult to walk in the sun if you don't have a vehicle. Poor breakfast. The checkin time is too late. For hiring a SCscooter ATV
The room was large and spacious, the pool over looked the sea view.
We paid for a room with a sea view and barely got a view as we were on of the back rooms
We were really happy with our experience at Agnadi Villa. Was definitely value for money. Room had an incredible view and you could see the sun set which is a must in Santorini. Close to restaurants and transport (right near the bus stop). Met and exceeded my expectations.
Breakfast buffet wasn't the best but it was included so I really shouldn't complain.
Perfectly located within walking distance of Oia. Amazing view across the island and a beautiful apartment. Absolutely perfect for couples.
Everything was perfect Great place to stay - away from all the tourists The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly Very safe and comfortable Peaceful - no issue with noise despite varying age groups and nationalities
You need to hire a car or bike to easily get to the beaches however there is a bus stop right out the front which is fabulous- just takes time Breakfast was basic but it was fresh and plentiful - wonderful Greek yoghurt
Very nice view( but not the sunset view), breakfast ok, nothing special. Outside area was nice. The hotel is probably good if you look for more quiet place. The location was not perfect, You cannot walk to Oia or Fira because it’s too far, but there is a bus stop just in front of the property.
Location was close to Oia. Staff was very friendly
Could use a iron and board for clothes. Need laundry facilities. Cost 20 Eurostar to do a small load of laundry
The balcony & view were spectacular. The photos don't do it justice... REALLY beautiful property, right next to great restaurant, easy 12 minute walk to Oia, all tours were willing to pick up from there, bus stops RIGHT in front of it. Very VERY happy with this place.
Main activities coordinator/ front desk receptionist was rude and has difficulty with English so there was a lot of explaining things multiple times in no clearer terms and with attitude.
The villas are beautiful, roomy and comfortable. It is a few hundred metres to the crowds at Oia so you are far enough away but close enough to access all that Oia has to offer. Lovely views to the north west so you see the glorious sunset every evening. The staff especially Katerina were helpful, polite and very competent. Use their shuttle service - it is much cheaper and comfortable. Nice breakfast included. Can’t recommend this lovely small hotel enough. Stay here!
Honestly... the only redeeming quality was that it was in Greece. It is about a 20+ minute into Oia which isn't bad but it is on a really unsafe road. I would have much preferred to stay further away in a nicer place.
The entire property reeked of sewage. You were not allowed to flush your toilet paper because of their "sewage" problem. The manager at the hotel was incredibly rude and unhelpful. The bed is a glorified cot. The breakfast was plain bread that you couldn't toast and raw oats... The pool is swarming with flies. The maids would throw away any "snacks" left in the room like fruit, chips, candy etc. - totally uneaten. Overall - a totally bizarre experience.
Nice clean accommodation however, our room was not available when we arrived but we where given an upgrade which was nice. Then asked to switch rooms again on the second day which meant we could not unpack for two out of the three days we were there. Staff were very polite and helpful.
If we had to switch rooms due to an oversight, we should have been allowed to stay in the new rooms as per all other resorts we have stayed in before.
Convenient if you’re looking for a cheaper alternative close to Oia. Basic but nice pool and friendly staff. Not in Oia but not far.
View
Not welcome on the arrival sfuff was a bit rude
Excellent facilities and room. Beautiful view of sunset.
One time we paid driver direct for service. On way out we paid hotel. Hmmm
Beautiful pool area, lovely and breezy, there was always sun beds available and a very relaxed vibe. It was about 20 minute walk into the main town of oia but there was a couple of restaurants and shops on the way.
The breakfast was limited but nice and there was an option to eat in the breakfast room or on the lovely roof terrace.
The location was great - just outside the hustle and bustle of Oia, just a short walk away. The rooms were clean and the pool was nice.
The bed could use an upgrade - it was a bit squeaky, but still comfortable.
Beautiful property very close to the famous Oia village. Big rooms. Every room can accommodate 4 persons. Breakfast was very basic but it was nice.
We were 5 of us. We could have all fit in one room as it had 2 double beds and a lot of space for an extra bed. In the listing it shows only one bed. These rooms a family rooms wherein a couple with 2 children can easily stay in one room. The listing should be better explained.
They forgot that we were coming and didn’t seem to have control over their costumers:/
Close to bus stop. Spacious rooms. Nice location to view sunset.
Everything was perfect
The Staff was very kind and helpful, swimming pool very good, breakfast was basic but good.
nice pool & nice view
-the location is a bit far from oia town , you will have to take a taxi and they are a bit expensive -if you are going there a a tourist better to stay in town -breakfast the basic -it seems they had some nice villas but the one we got was a cave!! one small window.. and felt like underground disappointed!!!
The room was clean, comfortable, and had a great little patio. Breakfast on the rooftop was a wonderful way to start the day. The young lady at the front desk was very helpful giving directions for walking through town and getting us a driver to see the rest of the Island.
No complaints.
The view: restaurant two doors away- Finikia
Poor service attitude by Management
The place is amazing, very relaxing and peaceful. The view is sooo amazing! The position is very good because it's 10mins walk to the center of Oia and in front of the hotel there is a bus stop. The stuff are very nice and kind!
We had an amazing stay at Agnadi Villa. The location is perfect (calm place, 20mn away from the center of Oia) and there are some amazing restaurants and bar around the hotel (Finikia Restaurant, Meze Meze and Sophia Boutique). The receptionist was lovely. Breakfast is very good. We also enjoyed the balcony and the decoration & patio of our room.
At first we had a hard time finding the hotel. You really need to ask the local bus’ driver to stop at Agnadi Villa / Finikia. And unfortunately the beautiful swimming pool is not heated.
very friendly nothing was too mush troubleFriendliness of staff.
n/acould not flush loo paper down loos
Staff very dedicated and friendly, beautiful rooms and good price for the location (20min by foot from Oia) and bus stop just in front of the Hotel to Oia or Fira. No need taxi service to get there or to make another tour.
Coffe could be better. I think it was too simple.
very friendly staff, great facilities and amazing location
The view
Not very comfortable beds, breakfast was the same every day without options. What you pay is not what you get it.
Breakfast was excellent quality and variety The room cleaners were great they nipped in whilst we were at breakfast and as there were 2 staff they were really efficient which was much appreciated
There is a diversion in high season which meant a ten minute detour by car if you wanted to nip into town for water etc
Location is wonderful - close to gorgeous terrace to view the sunset. Amazing staff - Annie was incredible. Our patio was also lovely place to relax and enjoy. The pool is nice and refreshing after a day of sight seeing, and breakfast with a view was such a treat.
Overall, it was a super stay. The suite we had could use a little 'colour' - it felt very cold in decor. Some bright cheerful colours would be great. There was a strong smell coming from the bathroom, which is not unusual being close to the sea, but it was unpleasant at times. Some shampoo and bar soap, or a wash cloth to use the shower gel, would be a suggestion as well.
- Staff
- Location ( was too windy) - Room was not upto the expectations - Not value for Money - Bathroom is very conjusted - We were not very comfortable in the room
Our room was beautiful. Lovely villa which suited all needs. Really comfy beds, lovely pool area, lovely/helpful staff! 10 minute walk in to Oia, full of shops and lovely restaurants. Bus stop right outside hotel, very handy - takes 15 mins to get to Thira for 1.80 euros. Lovely stay & a great trip.
I wouldn't say I didnt like it but breakfast could have been a little bit more exciting, but nothing wrong with what was on offer.
The staff at location were very friendly and helpful and really made the stay worthwhile. They made us feel very comfortable and ensured that any questions were answered. The location is great and a short walk to the main town.
We got the ocean view room but it was mainly other buildings. Only one or two are actually facing the ocean.
Staff super helpful to find a tour and book for us, airport transfer arrangement is good, nice swimming pool view
Clean comfortable and near buses to get into Oia. Nice pool.
The girl at the reception was really helpful and gave us tons of information.
A bit overpriced for the time of the year we visited.
The Staff is wonderful!
I hoped more on room.
The staff were wonderful, very friendly and willing to accommodate any needs. I enjoyed the location, and having a bus stop across the street was great. The room was beautiful and clean.
The bed wasn't very comfortable (a little too hard), the breakfast was minimal and the booking indicated a sea view with nice lounge chairs. We were behind another villa so we were unable to see ...
The place was close to downtown
There are not store close to
Sunset view from the hotel and comfortable rooms.
Amazing location, with a manageable walk to spectacular Oia and many great restaurants a stones throw away. The property was immaculate, very quiet, the staff immensely helpful with bookings and any ...
A few light fittings did not work, had to turn off the fridge at night as it was quite noisy! I personally wouldve loved the option of a small bar that could serve drinks and snacks for those days you...
Good location, great staff, clean. Great view. Great breakfast, Great pool.
The luxury villa is small for 4 people, and the rooms are open so not a lot of privacy. Other than that it was great.
I really liked to stay here, staff is very friendly and helpful. They help you with everything. It has pool with a nice view. Bus stop is literally in front of the hotel which is very good.
People working there are very nice, the hotel was busy, they had a lot of work, still they were very helpful and smiling. Amazing private terrace in my room, views and very nice pool. Also the ...
I did not like the price because for example: there are not many facilities provided apart of towels. If you planning to book this hotel better make sure that you have everything to take a shower. The...
I like the host (very helpful and kind), the breakfast, the view and the swimming pool.
The lack of toiletries. There was only one bottle of soap that was "for everything, hair, body and hands." No separate shampoo, conditioner or soap.
We loved our room. It was spacious, clean, everything we wanted for our stay.
There weren't many things within walking distance of the hotel. Definitely recommend hiring a car/atv.
Helpful staff. Nice pool area with ocean view. Nice bathroom. Rooftop breakfast area with view. Bus stop right outside > close to Oia. The hotel arranged a car to the airport on departure day for a...
Hard beds. Neither wifi nor mobile network coverage in our room. Apparently not properly cleaned before our stay as we found a shoe under a bed. Poor breakfast buffet for a hotel with ambitions: not ...
Other than the location of the property , nothing was good
staff behaviour was very rude , property is completely different from the photos on website , horrible experience , it is not even children friendly
Loved that it was a 15 minute walk into Oia. A great roof terrace to eat breakfast and watch the sunset. Pool was lovely too. And reception staff were always friendly and helpful.
Location, washing facilities, cleanliness, help with airport transportation.
Location, just 10-15 minutes walk from the center.
Unhelpful staff, Very poor breakfast! They did not gave to us towels for swimming pool. Check out they have at 11:00.
It is on the far end of the island away from the tourists and noise. However you must pay a lot each trip to go anywhere. Recommend you bring cash, and rent some type of vehicle.
Internet is unreliable, so is cell service. It’s is a cash market, so bring plenty of euros. It is very crowded during high season. Getting around in tight streets is a challenge.
Nice place but wrong view
Beautiful property, villa and room.
I was under the impression that the view overlooked the east sea I.E. the Caldera which is the big attraction of Oia. This overlooked the west sea which is not what I wanted.
