Best sunsets in Oia

Rooms were wonderful, spacious with amazing view and swimming pool (deluxe suite). Breakfast were also very tasty and on time. In overall food at the hotel was lovely. We have received a bottle of wine and fruits as a welcome gift:) Staff was very friendly and always helpful. As there is quite a bit of steps there was always someone to help with our luggage’s.

Incredible stay in a beautiful...

We stayed at Maregio for 3 nights to finish off our week in Santorini. The property is incredible, the views of the sunset are better than anywhere else on the island. The team were very helpful and polite, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast on the terrace was delicious and the room was pure luxury. We will be visiting again!

The breakfast was amazing! We filled in the breakfast form the previous evening and the next morning our table was all set. The staff was great! I couldn't have wished for a better service. The location was perfect. The view we had from our room was breathtaking. We watched the sunset from our private swimming pool. THANK YOU Maregio suites & Panos!

Staff were excellent. Views were incredible you can see the full sunset from the balcony of the rooms. Food was also excellent.

This hotel is absolutely amazing, we stayed in the honeymoon suite for 4 nights after our wedding and wow are we glad we booked here, the view from the balcony to watch the sunset is in my opinion the best on the island. Nothing in the way, no crowds of people, no noise, it really is a magical place to stay. The breakfast is bought to your balcony and has plenty of variety. The heated pool and hot tub was perfect, the communal pool was great if you wanted a refreshing dip and offered views over amoudi bay. The rooms were spacious and immaculately clean. The best part of this hotel is the staff, they really go over and above to make sure you are treated like a real guest and to ensure you are having a good time, nothing and I mean NOTHING is too much trouble, a special mention from us is Panos, he really made our stay, helpful, friendly and always in a fantastic mood regardless of what time of day we saw here or what he was doing (carrying my 23kg suitcase on his shoulder) he is a real asset to this hotel. The room service was very reasonable (cocktails around €12) which you can enjoy with the sunset. I honestly can’t think of a single thing to improve on. Thank you!!!!

Great romantic holiday in Oia

Very nice hotel suited at the upper end of Oia (more calm) with amazing sunset view. We liked our spacious suite with nice furniture and a sunterrace with heated pool and nice privacy. Extremly friendly and helpful staff, special compliment to the two ladies at the reception - they helped us with all our wishes and gave good recommendations for restaurants. Very fast service in all aspects. The breakfast is served at the room terrace and a morning highlight with view at the sea and Ammoudi Beach. Due the Location there is more shadow in the Morning and Full heat from the beginning of the afternoon- but there are sunsails for Cover. Parking space available in 3 Min. walking distance.

Due to the location there are many steep steps to walk - nice „sport“ after food :) We (28 & 39) like to enjoy our high end holidays calm and relaxed and expected a more mature audience at that Place. But the other guests consisted mainly of young expressive couples of which some liked to play music etc which for us seemed quite distractive at such a nice place. Of course this is not the hotels fault and when the staff got notice they calmed it down.

Very kind and helpful staffs. The quality of the room was perfect. When we arrived we got a bottle of wine as a gift. On the main pool without any ask, they brought us fresh water, smoothies, coffee... the view is amazing in every point of the suite. The breakfast is extraordinary they made what we want and served in a scheduled time in our room. This is a private and quiet place where the tourists can not disturb you during your holiday, Besides it is close to the center and you can easily reach the pedestrian walk and the sea as well. The whole suites are Extremely clear. After we checked out we came back 3 days later and welcomed us to relax there until our flight is going. If we are coming back to Santorini again we would choose the Maregio suites for sure.

The most amazing stay

- service is out of this world - the views are breathtaking - it is very clean - the staff if so nice - the room service was delicious - the plunge pool temperature is adjustable - honestly a perfect stay for a romantic getaway - it’s away from the crowds but still in the center - most amazing sunset view

- it has a lot of stairs to get to the room (which for us is no problem, we needed it after all the amazing food, but for elderly people it might not be appropriate)

We had a beautiful view and privacy from our taras. Our private pool was clean and pretty spacious. Personel was very nice and helpful. Breakfast from our own taras was a nice treat.

The location, rooms and scenery are breathtaking as one can already see from the pictures. What made the stay exceptional is the staff. Everyone is super nice, not the normal “you give us money, we provide service” it was honest and heartwarming to be a Guest here. Thank you for this wonderful time.

The room and bathroom were such a good size, the staff were amazing and did everything they could to accommodate our requests. We loved that it was right at the end of the trail so we got to see the sunset set every evening from our private terrace if we wanted to

We did have a drone fly past almost every day but that's not the hotels fault. We were in the honeymoon suite, so if we could choose again we would opt for a room up and ensure the plunge pool overlooked the sunset as ours was set back a bit further but it wasn't the end of the world!

It has an amazing view. Good breakfast. Very helpful staff. They provide service to pick up your luggage from the drop off area as it is about 100 meters walk. Just cant get over the view from our room. Mesmerizing. Best sunset view. Plunge pool was awesome and always had hot water.

The honeymoon suite was spectacular, the view was incredible. The staff were super super helpful and friendly. Definitely the best spot in Oia for sun all day and best view of the sunset. The room was amazing, spacious amazing bed. The breakfast was incredible, we loved every second of being there. Wouldn’t think twice about booking it again next time we’re back. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

The view; privacy during sunset; the helpfulness and courtesy of the staff who tried to make every element of our stay as enjoyable and convenient as possible (especially Chryssa); the design and layout of the room was both beautiful and made us feel as if we were in another world. I was very sad to leave.

Everything was fantastic! Chryssa and the gentleman in the afternoon are superstars... they went over and beyond to ensure a wonderful stay; we couldn't be more grateful! The privacy of our honeymoon suite was just perfect, the feeling of peace, calm and tranquillity surrounds you whenever you're within the walls of this resort. Our 2 night's stay here was a perfect ending to our week in Santorini.

The view is beautiful and the staff were extremely nice and helpful. Getting up to the reception and the main city was hard due to many stairs and inclines but the location and staff and view made it up for us.

Too many stairs! We had to take almost 100 stairs every day to the reception. Breakfast needs to be improved and have a better variety.

We have just returned from our stay at the Maregio Suites and could not have asked for anymore. The hotel is perfectly located in the quieter part of Oia. A short walk takes you to the more busier part with all the shops and tourists. As a couple celebrating our 10th anniversary the peace and quite location of this hotel was perfect. The room itself was very modern and minimalist. The white, grey and blue colour scheme worked very well to create a relaxing environment. The huge balcony had a lovely private pool, two sun beds, a table and two chairs and a seating area which provided the perfect view of the famous Caledra sunset. Every morning a huge breakfast was bought our private balcony and we enjoyed it whist taking in the breathtaking views. We didn't actually realise just how wonderful the location was until one day we went in to the town and were taken back with the amount of people standing watching the sunset. We had the best view from our balcony and honestly felt like we were the only ones there watching the sunset. That's how quite and perfect the location is. Also, the staff get a very special mention. They are all very friendly and extremely helpful. The room is cleaned twice a day and throughout the day they come and clean the balcony and pool. I have to especially mention Mike. He was amazing. He arranged all our transfers for us and recommended cafes and restaurants to visit and was just genuinely a really nice guy. Chrissy, also helped us out. Our check out was at midday but our flight was at midnight so she provided us with a guest room which had a sofa, tv and shower. We were allowed to stay in this room right up until we left for the airport. All in all, the whole Santorini experience was out of this world and the majority of that is to do with this hotel. Both my wife and I have already agreed that we need to visit again....

You’ll have your privacy at the balcony and anything you need in the room. Breakfast is wonderful and will be served at your balcony with the view:-)

The staff was stellar. SO friendly, professional and helpful. The views are out of this world. Having breakfast delivered to our room and at the edge of the ocean was unforgettable. The room service food was also outstanding.

Location was a little difficult to get to and we were on the far end of Oia-- I didn't realize quite how far from the "action" we would be, plus it's intimidating to find your way around with no street signs.

The staff is excellent, friendly and warm. They made us feel as if we were guests in their fabulous home. The view from our balcony was stunning. The room and its furnishings reminded me of Sleeping Beauty - enchanting.

Oia is a beautiful place that is a victim of its reputation. It is a must see but be prepared for the crowds, especially at sunset, that overwhelm its charm. There is more too Santorini's magic.
