Positiv: "Zwar wurde der Einstieg nur über einen Bustransfer über das Rollfeld ermöglicht, aber die Wartezeiten vor dem Bus und vor dem Flieger wurden so kurz wie möglich organisiert. Die Innenausstattung des Flugzeugs ist sehr stilvoll und edel ausgewählt. Kompliment ! Da hat die SWISS ordentlich Häkchen bei der Sonder- und Zusatzausstattung gemacht. Die Beinfreiheit zwischen den Sitzen ist angenehm großzügig bemessen für einen innereuropäischen Flug, in einem Airbus A319. Diese Beinfreiheit kenne ich eigentlich nur von Fernflügen mit asiatischen Airlines. Die Cabin Crew war mit Authentizität äusserst zuvorkommend und freundlich. Zu keinem Zeitpunkt hatte ich das Gefühl , gezwungener Freundlichkeit zu begegnen. Retroperspektiv möchte ich sagen, dass dies der angenehmste innereuropäische Flug war, bei dem ich jemals Fluggast war. Schade, dass der Flug nur 45 Minuten dauerte. Mit der Maschine und dem Personal würde ich auch mal zum mars fliegen. ;-)"

The connecting gangway between the 2 toilet areas--- 2 of us passengers tried to pass the crew to get to the other side--crew would not move out of the way--- we, the passengers had to manoevre around them as if we were a burden to them"

We got ice cream part way through the trip. I loved that we got a piece of Swiss chocolate on each leg of the journey. The crew was friendly. There was a screen at each seat where you could watch movies or TV, listen to music, or track your flight. The entertainment was free, and the crew provided free earphones. Blankets and pillows were provided."

In my complaint letter to Swiss Air I requested they place us together. I never got a response and upon check in, they had my son and me in our purchased seats and my daughter at the back of the plane. I asked them if they could do anything about it (I was even willing to give up my seats to move to the back...) yet no one seemed concerned or interested in helping to make this work. They also had no knowledge of my complaint or appeared concerned about my prior experience. I'm so over Swiss Air. My experience with the employees on the phone prior to my first departure, the lack of response to my email, and a disinterested and inattentive staff on my return, have all convinced me to choose a different airline next time."

Negativ: "The flight from Nairobi to Zurich starts in Nairobi, flies an hour south to Dar es Salaam, you then sit on the tarmac for an hour, then you fly north for an hour until you get back to the starting point. I would think they would save money if they flew an empty plane down to Dar es Salaam, picked up those passengers and then flew back to Nairobi. No way should an 8.5 hour flight take over 11.5 hours. Plus my screen didn't work for one of the flights, nearly 12 hours without entertainment was BS. No real variety in their meals either. The first leg had a main meal of beef and potatoes as the meat option, same option for the second leg."

And the fellow next to me, in the middle, was over 6 feet and was VERY uncomfortable, even though he had legroom. There were good options for entertainment, but it was unreliable and had to be restarted once. Also, the screen was terrible quality and I could not see no matter how I adjust the screen angle or the light."

Negativ: "The Swissair website did not have my information available. Stood next to Passport Control for an hour (!) for a glitch they couldn't resolve before boarding. Flight was delayed 90 minutes. Worse quality beef on a flight ever, and that's hard to do. In my 1.5 million miles flown, these were the least comfortable, cramped seats I have ever experienced. I am only 5'7", 150lbs, but for the first time ever could not reach my belongings in the under-the-seat space in front of me. Seriously, it was that cramped."

Also, during the flight, the crew kept coming through with more water, which was VERY NICE! Plus, the moist towels prior to landing. It makes a big difference in comfort levels for such a long flight."
Negativ: "The on-board entertainment system was old and very clumsy to handle (with the embedded control in the arm rest). Also, it crashed on me two times and had to be re-booted, which was frustrating and took a long time every time it happened."

Nach dem Boarding kam es zu einer weiteren Verspätung, da das Gepäck der betroffenen Personen entladen werden musste."

Dann lieber nichts auftischen liebe Swiss. - Verspäteter Abflug, da der Flieger noch nicht mal am Gate stand während wir eigentlich abfliegen sollten."

They served a weird cheese sandwich mid flight and would roll their eyes if you asked for water. The food selection and taste was bland or way too salty."

Positiv: "I didn't get a chance to get the gentleman's name at the gate, but he was able to get me on the earlier flight (since I had NO luggage and only 1 carry on that fit under my seat) and didn't charge me the stupid fee for filling a seat that was empty when I was giving up a seat on a later flight that would accommodate those who missed this earlier flight. Nice to see kindness in an industry that seizes fees on every opportunity."

Negativ: "Didn't understand why I had to wait until getting to the gate to have a seat assigned when I purchased tickets several months ago. Since I was in the last boarding group, Had to check in my bag since it was already full, had fragile stuff in there and hoping everything is ok. it is what it is. Not anyone's fault but disappointing to have to do when I didn't plan on checking in and going to pick up at the baggage claim. This is what i wanted to avoid in the first place. could have at least offered to let us pick them up as we deplaned and not baggage claim!"

Got to watch bag handlers throw and drop luggage like true gorillas. Delta, this time you truely are the worst. Wont book you again."

I'mover 6' tall and middle seats are painful, especially cross country. Airlines need to be a little more attentive to their customers' needs. If a passenger is taller than average, and the flight is more than 60 minutes, provide comfortable seating at no extra charge. If a customer has a short layover, which their system knows about since it is the sourve of the flight plans, put the customer toward the front of the aircraft since these flights are habitually late and customers end up having to sprint through airports to try to make connections."

We had to ask for a wet tissue and clean it up. That was of no use too as it wouldn't scrub off. My wife was feeling under the weather and so we asked for a blanket. The blanket was hardly a blanket and more like a towel. We then luckily could switch seats as there were 2 vacant. But, the air conditioner was leaking water in the seat to our left. The crew was callous and just stuck the passenger with some napkins saying it does that. I don't fly Delta a lot and my experience in this trip isn't inspiring much confidence."

I asked if I could see the seat chart, and told, "NO, you may not." Accepted the offer to find that we had been assigned non-reclining seats for this five hour torture, clearly a 'gotcha' by the agent. Furious!!"

"I had to cancel my trip because of COVID delta. My brother who I visiting got scared and didn’t want me to visit. I paid for insurance that you provided through your site. Allianz hidden in terms that canceling because of COVID fear isn’t covered. I was never offered insurance through delta on your site witch I would have bought. Delta isn’t even giving me a credit for a flight and keep my money. What a scam and I’m very disappointed in the services I received."

Negativ: "The Bus carried all passengers to the plane . There was No help or assistance available for Handicapped passengers We had to climb the stairs. The person in front of me had Only one leg to stand on and was using crutches to climb the stairs This was like a survival of the fittest test and a horrible Experience. The Airline should provide assistance at the Boarding stairs."

Positiv: "The best airline to Europe! Period! Boing in the new 777 and has very comfortable seats with plenty of room for your feet even in economy class. Huge number of movies and TV shows. The food is excellent. Only missing part is to have some candies or chocolates for the 13 hour trip for San Francisco to Istanbul. You can not beat their price. Crew is very friendly and helpful at the same time. Slippers and socks they give you in economy class + cotton blanket of course make you feel you are 1st class traveler. What else? You name it and it is there. Will fly again with Turkish airlines."

Positiv: "Fantastic onboard entertainment. Lots of current movies and tv shows to watch. Music was available, too. Even a camera under the plane to see what you’re flying over...usually clouds. USB charging, big screens in the headrests, games, remote control with keyboard and game controller, network cable for laptops without Wi-Fi even. The had pillows and blankets on every seat when we arrived and handed out hot towels before the first meal. They also provided a kit with eye mask, toothbrush, cologne, and slippers. Far better than we expected."
Negativ: "We were subjected to at least five security checks after our transfer in Istanbul. At the gate they checked our passports and boarding passes five times before boarding, every carry on bag was searched and every person was patted down. We even watched while one man held up his baby for a guard to pat the baby down! This was all after the security we’d received to get to our gate. So, if you left the gate to use the bathroom, you had to go through all the checks again."

Negativ: "The Istanbul airport is very large and there are many people. The signage is generally pretty good, but it was confusing getting off the airplane from Berlin and seeing a sign saying something like " foreigners." I waited in that very long line for at least 30 minutes which ate up most of my layover time. Only to find out that it was for people with visas coming into Turley. I was directed to another, poorly marked, line for people transferring planes."

Negativ: "The crew wasn't very warm or welcoming. No one smiled even once. They made it feel as if they were just doing their job and didn't care about customer service or comfort. The wifi didn't work the entire trip. Also, I got rammed with a service cart because the flight attendant said he didn't see me."

Positiv: "Delicious food, amenities kit with socks, slippers, earplugs, toothpaste and more, fantastic entertainment system, power plugs and USB plugs at every seat."
Negativ: "The laptop on board ban is a mess. As we were flying to the US, we had to go through literally 4 security checks one after the other. Then, all of our electronics (laptop, camera, even headphones) other than our phones had to be taken. As everyone had to go through it , this delayed our flight by 1 hour. When we landed, we waited literally 1.5h before they started handing out our electronics. All in all, it took me 4 hours to leave the airport."

Positiv: "The crew on the plane was kind, accommodating, and polite. Free alcoholic drinks helped with the long list of negatives aspects of the flight."
Negativ: "Every flight was 30+ minutes late. Crew members at the gate were consistently on their phones and delayed service substantially. Not only am I incredibly frustrated that I could not bring my laptop onboard to do work, but the fact I wasn't told until right at boarding and it took extensive time to reclaim it makes Turkish airlines on par with Ryan Air for inconveniencing its customers. At baggage claim, the crew loaded our baggage on the incorrect track, making it take even longer to receive it. Seats and leg room are sub par. As someone who is 6'3, when the person in front of me put their seat back, I was forced to take a metal bar on the back of their seat to my knees (no matter the position). I will be recommending to both family and friends that they should avoid this airline at all costs."

Positiv: "As with the departure, everything was smooth for those who had no carry-on laptop"
Negativ: "The new carry-on laptop caused a delay of about 1 hr before departure and arrival an hour late, then claiming the laptop was almost a nightmare with long queue after picking up the luggages, one has to also claim their laptops in a make shift station In the baggage claims area. My suggestion is to put the computer laptops in alphabetic order by last name/surname, with the claim ticket,for easier access when picking up. As for departure, probably at check in to inform them that if you have a laptop carry-on so that can be taken care of right away as not to delay departure when they take it at the departing gate. This should be done at check in if in Turkey, or as a transferring traveler, to inform the traveler to take care of that as soon as arrived to transferring destination and for the traveler not to wait until boarding time at the boarding gate."

Positiv: "Better than average in flight service. Excellent in flight entertainment"
Negativ: "Poor customer service. What the Turkish airliines claims to provide for passengers with long stopover (free tour etc.) on its web site did not happen. We got inconsistent and not helpful information from different Turkish representatives. Tight seat configurations. Uncomfortable for a 12+ hour flight."

Positiv: "The customer service and attention to detail was a nice surprise. I would definitely fly with Turkish Airlines again."
Negativ: "The space between the rows was very limited. I have short legs so it wasn't a problem for me, but my companion had her knees shoved into the back of the seat in front of her for the whole 13 hour flight. Not so good."

Positiv: "Good food and courteous service."
Negativ: "I was crowded in amongst a family who decided to camp in my row of 3 seats. (Literally, on the floor.) I could not move because I needed the bulkhead and aisle seat to stretch my legs. I am a Diabetic and needed it for circulation. I did not say anything but, the stewardess should have made one of the people go back to their seat as he was wedged near the window and sitting on the floor. It made my 13.25 hours trip very uncomfortable. They had a child with them so, I didn't wish to complain while on board."

Positiv: "The flight itself was great and the crew was wonderful"
Negativ: "Due to the laptop ban, the boarding and un-boarding process was brutal. We had to stand in line for an hour and a half just to hand over our laptops, where for some reason they decided to have only 2 people handling the process which created a huge line. The flight was 1:30 late and as we landed, there was no method to the delivery of the laptops to people. I had to wait almost 2 hours to get my laptop. Again, they only had 2-3 people handling the distribution of the laptops. I understand the security issue, but this issue was known for weeks now and there is no reason not to have enough people on the ground to take care of the boarding and distribution of electronic devices to at least make this an easier experience. There is no excuse for such poor preparation and service."

Positiv: "I got extremely sick on the flight from Istanbul to San Francisco. I now know I caught a stomach bug which hit me on the flights from Cape Town to Istanbul and then even worse from Istanbul to San Francisco. The flight from Istanbul was delayed by two hours due to customs delay for a passenger, as such there was a lot of recycled air. Take that and fact I'm pregnant and by time i started the 13 hour journey already felt sick. I started throwing up immediately and got sick 12 more times. the flight attendants brought me crackers, water and a cold towel and ice. My husband asked if he could pay to put me in business class but was not in airline policy. but i think given how sick and pregnant i was the flight attendant went to ask the captain if there was anything they could do to assist. they ended up moving me to business class to lie down and let me stay there for 3 hours. I got sick upon moving back but getting that rest really helped me. I felt like they genuinely cared about me and am so thankful to the two flight attendants who assisted: 1) Zumrat Bolukbas 2) Hatice (Cabin Chief) These women are amazing!"
Negativ: "the 2 hour flight delay on tarmac."

Positiv: "Flights attendants were really nice, USB ports on all seats, great selection of free movies and other entertainment, very good vegetarian food."
Negativ: "Boarding took a long time in Istanbul and could have been handled better. A second inspection was setup At the gate to checks passports, inspect carry-on bags for laptops and iPads, and a pat-down. we were late taking off, the plane was really full, and the cushions on the seats were off a bit. Seems like the plane was cleaned quickly and not put back together carefully."

Positiv: "This was my first flight with Turskis Airlines and my best experience with flying to Europe. The food was excellent; we had two hot delicious meals (best airplane food I ever had). The crew was the best - professional yet friendly. TA airfares are cheaper than other airlines so I could spend one day in Istanbul. That alone is worth it!"

Positiv: "Everything was great! Flight iand boarding was on time and the service provided by crew was simply the best. I enjoyed the entire flight."

Positiv: "Enough room to spread out; excellent entertainment choices; ability to charge phone easily; wifi"

Negativ: "Stuck in Istanbul airport for three days because of snow. The way the airline handled it was APPALLING. Second night stood in line for a hotel for over four hours only to find out at 3am that there weren't any more. And none of that captures the insanity of being sent to a transfer desk with no way out except buying a Turkish visa and going through immigration. Inexcusable. I have traveled to over 40 countries in the past 30+ years and this was beyond the pale, absolutely a nightmare, and almost all of it (excepting the actual snow delay) in the airline's control. NEVER FLY THIS AIRLINE THROUGH ISTANBUL."

Positiv: "Took Turkish Airline from New Delhi to San Francisco. The flight is at 6:55am from New Delhi, so a little early start - but the connection in Istanbul is excellently timed. The aircrafts were 777-300ER on both legs, and rather new. The entertainment is great and the TV screens are 11inches. Could not complain at all. Food is fine, standard fare, and there are some snacks available through entire flight. Istanbul is a reasonable airport for a short connection. Turkish allows 2 bags of 50lbs free - yet another reason to take it along with the reasonable fares."
Negativ: "The luggage delivery at SFO took forever! The flight landed at 4:36pm and I got my luggage at 5:40pm. This is something I have noticed on Turkish Airlines multiple times. They really need to work on their luggage workflow."

Positiv: "The seats were comfortable"
Negativ: "The entertainment system was not operational"

Positiv: "The whole experience was great. After an excellent meal which included drinks before and an excellent wine selection the flt attendants came through and made up a bed for you. This included a cover for the seat, a blanket and a big pillow. As opposed to United where you have to stick your feet in a little cubby the Turkish plane has just an open bench which opens to provide storage and gives ample foot room. I have never slept so much on a flt. Also he bathrooms are much more spacious than others."
Negativ: "Really nothing."

Negativ: "They cancelled my flight days before leaving the country or origin, leaving me incredibly inconvenienced."

Negativ: "I have never had a worse experience with booking travel and I vow to avoid Kayak and any related services. This has been truly one of the most terrible travel experiences. The flights were changed (not a big deal) and I was told I was due a refund. After three 1-1.5 hour calls no such refund has come and both agencies says the other is due to provide. I am furious and will never use Kayak or Justfly again."

Positiv: "There was upgrade special on our outbound flight at check in which we took advantage of so we were in business class flight from SFO to Istanbul. That was awesome experience - very comfortable fully reclining seats, gourmet food and drinks, impeccable service, wide entertainment selection, etc. Even on the shorter leg flights we took (i.e. Istanbul to Rome and Dubrovnik to Istanbul) they served food (light snack). We flew economy from Istanbul back to SFO but got exit row seats so plenty of leg room and seats reclined good amount. Again, great service, food and entertainment. All the flights we had on our itinerary were newer planes. Turkish Airlines is so much better than American airlines!"

Positiv: "Great service. On time. Friendly personnel."

Positiv: "The entire trip was very good when though it was very long due to the stop over in turkey. The flight was very good ( business class). Service and food was outstanding. The seats were good. Laying down was still a bit tight due to the armrests remaining in the same position. The crew was extremely nice and always helpful. The Turkish Air lounge on Istanbul is great and makes the united lounge in SFO look like a soup kitchen. I would fly Turkish air again."

Positiv: "My husband and I had a very average experience overall. From boarding to inflight customer service."
Negativ: "We did not plan to check in any luggage since we had few connections, so we decide to take our rimowa luggage with us. So we were forced to check them in because it was only 8kg allow per passenger on carry on. So our luggage end up full of big dents, and scratches. We reported to the airlines and it was hard to justify what we were complaining about it. As a consumer were are very unsatisfied and unhappy. One of the worst experience in hospitality I have ever experience."

Positiv: "Comfort and space comparing to my outbound flight from SFO to Munich. This plane was way older but at least there was a little bit of space. Flight attendants were very nice."
Negativ: "Entertainment units kept crushing, were not responsive. Difficult to use and enjoy. Frankfurt airport - total mess at the additional passport control before going to "Z" gates. Crowd of people, huge lines, all disorganized. The control for EU passengers was not so crowded but you couldn't see it at the end of the line, so even people who didn't have to were all crowding in the same cue. Horrible experience and I almost missed my flight because of this mess."

Positiv: "Food was pretty good,Lufthansa one of the best companies to fly with."

Negativ: "Requested for Hindu vegetarian meal by call and was informed we would receive on flight. Got on flight to find that Hindu vegetarian does not exist. Starved on both legs of flight. That is almost 24 hours. Plane should keep extras and customer service should give correct information."

Negativ: "The galley where the snacks were looked more like a very dirty restaurant kitchen. It was absolutely gross with dirty forks, dirty glasses, overall grimy and dirty."

Negativ: "My flight schedule changed after I bought the ticket, which resulted in paying for the hotel for the extra night and using one more PTO day."

Positiv: "Dreamliner ist ein neues Flugzeug"

Positiv: "Lufthansa arranged for pickup with a van upon disembarking from my late flight from Pisa and took me through a special passport and security checkpoint so that I was able to catch my MUC-SFO flight. Flight departed late, but pilot made up all tge lost time in flight. Crew was professional, very polite and efficient."

Positiv: "Exit-Row ohne Aufpreis bekommen - freundlicher Service. Pünklich"

Positiv: "Der Flug war sehr pünktlich. Boarding ging sehr schnell. Schon an der Security musste ich quasi gar nicht warten. I"
Negativ: "Auf Kurzflügen gibt es nur einen Snack und ein Getränk. Das ist aber ok. Für die kurze Flugzeit habe ich komfortabel gesessen"

Negativ: "Warum wird von den Flugbegleitern, sowie auch im Bordmagazin und einer zusätzlichen Broschüre groß angekündigt, dass eine Internetverbindung über FlyNet möglich ist, wenn es dann doch nicht funktioniert? Wenn man aus Erfahrung weiß, dass es bei Kurzstreckenflügen technische Problem gibt, sollte man auch nicht großspurig damit werben."

Negativ: "Would have been great if the airlines "flying" had actually been Lufthansa! My electronic ticket said Lufthansa, check in at Lufthansa, but when I got there and tried to check-in...NOT Lufthansa! It was United. I deliberately went out of my way to NOT book with United when placing my reservation. Personal reasons. Won't book this way ever again."

Positiv: "the gate crew didn't care if there was chaos. no interaction with waiting passengers beyond those that queued up with direct questions. i'd liken the experience to herding cattle. customer service skills haven't been taught to these folks yet. if i were basing my lufthansa experience on this alone, i'd go out of my way to fly another airline next time. on the other hand, the people staffing the flight were extremely kind, professional, pleasant, personable. a much improved experience. so much so that i mentioned it to a few people once i got home. this crew has received more training on how to provide excellent service than the gate folks in frankfurt."
Negativ: "gate crew's attitude. it feels as though they are disdainful of the traveller. customer service matters. manage the boarding process. be nice about it."

Positiv: "The entertainment options were great, and the food was better than many airline meals I've had before."
Negativ: "I am Star Alliance Gold and I didn't like that it wasn't possible to select an economy plus seat upon check in, and I wasn't upgraded even though there were seats available. I picked this airline specifically because of it's star alliance membership but it didn't get my anything."

Positiv: "The entertainment touch screen system is so much easier to use than the planes that have the remote controls. Having all of the toilets downstairs was nice. It was less noisy and had a little space to stretch. The crew was very friendly and helpful."
Negativ: "Even though I was sitting on the left side aisle seat (2-seat section), it was very cramped. I'm only 5'2" and my legs were very uncomfortable. Along with less leg room than other airlines, it felt like the seat itself was narrower too. The food quality control was disappointing. The meal I had on the first leg of my flight (Mumbai-Munich), I noticed that it expired by about 2 weeks. And the complimentary water bottles also had a past expiration date (although, I don't know how water expires). Generally speaking, I think all of the meals I ate on Lufthansa were subpar compared to the many Asian airlines I've used for overseas flights. Quality could be improved and I think there's a missed opportunity to incorporate meal options correlated to the airline or international destinations (German airline, why not bratwurst? Pretzel bread?)"

Positiv: "The very gracious crew kept coming by with drinks and snacks, as well as lunch and dinner (in coach).The entertainment system is top notch, with a few dozen movies, lots of TV shows and more, with screens for each seat. The only complaint is that there's not much space between seats, so that when the person in front of you leans back, things can get tight. On the plus side, the bathrooms are downstairs (down a short staircase) and there's plenty of waiting room, so you don't get the usual congestion. Overall, a wonderful experience for an intercontinental flight."

Negativ: "- Delay > 2 hours and no info at gate at the time of planned boarding - unfriendly ground staff and chaotic check in - old 747, "entertainment 1970s standard - crew looked unkempt (like just out of bed), unfriendly to downright rude, my 85 year old mum was ignored repeatedly and ended up not getting enough fluids as a result - 1/8 crew members managed a smile on occasion - rushed meal "service", all they wanted was to disappear to sleep - crammed spaces - while it was announced "we have three different meal choices, you will have at least two choices" - ummm, no, it was pasta. Period. To be fair the pasta turned out ok. The morning dry ham and cheese bun was not, especially without any drink."

Negativ: "Ich wurde nie davon unterrichtet, dass meine Flüge von Porto nach Graz wegen eines Pilotenstreiks gestrichen waren. Ich habe das zufällig von einem Freund aus Graz telefonisch erfahren. Ich habe 1-1/2 Stunden vergeblich versucht jemanden der Lufthansa telefonisch zu erreichen, um meinen Flug umzubuchen. Es ist mir dann gelungen, auf meinem Handy den Flug auf eine andere Route, einen Tag später als ursprünglich gebucht umzubuchen, aber ich habe dann meine "preferred" Sitze und mein extra Gepäckstück, für die ich bezahlt hatte, verloren. Spät Abends habe ich dann, nach 30 Minuten bei der Lufthansa eine Dame erreicht, die mir dann "preferred" Sitze zugeteilt hat. Auf die Frage, ob meine Bezahlung für ein extra Gepäckstück auch anerkannt würde, bat sie mich in der Warteschleife kurz zu warten, aber nach weiteren 45 Minuten in der Warteschleife gab ich auf. Am nächsten Morgen, beim einchecken, waren meine "preferred" Sitze anderweitig vergeben und ich musste mich damit abfinden, trotz ursprünglicher Aufzahlung, im hinteren Teil des Flugzeuges zu reisen. Ich nehme sehr stark an, zum letzten Mal mit der Lufthansa, es gibt ja auch andere. Durch den Streik der Lufthansa Piloten, bin ich nicht die Route Porto - München - Graz geflogen, sondern einen Tag später, Porto - Frankfurt - Graz. Eine Vergütung für eine durch den Streik der Lufthansa Piloten erzwungene extra Übernachtung, habe ich nicht bekommen."

Positiv: "Guter Komfort in der Premium Economy, sehr freundliches Personal, moderne Maschine."
Negativ: "Die Entertainmentauswahl der Lufthansa ist im Vergleich zu anderen großen Airlines ein Witz. Kaum neue Filme, viel zu viele unbekannte skandinavische und asiatische Filme, von denen man vorher nicht wissen kann, ob sie gut oder schlecht sind. Im Flugzeug kommen Hollywood Blockbuster einfach besser als Kulturprogramm."

Positiv: "Boarding process was efficient. Staff on the plane were very courteous."
Negativ: "Your Economy seats are TOO SMALL! I'm 6-foot-4. It was physically PAINFUL to sit in the seats. My legs kept falling asleep and cramping up because I literally can't fit in your seats. Stop trying to squeeze every bloody dime you can out of a plane and add some more space in the seats. Passengers paying over a $1500 for 12-hour flights deserve to be treated better! That was horrible and bordering abusive!"

Positiv: "Angenehmerer Flug als mit Eurowings oder Air Berlin. Schön, dass man ein zweites Getränk und auch Wein bekommt."

Positiv: "Very smooth ride. I liked that they left water/ juice/ snacks downstairs in between meal service. The crew was super friendly, the entertainment selection was awesome too."
Negativ: "My chair wouldn't stay reclined :/"

Negativ: "Economy plus seats were a disappointment. Instead if the bottom cushion sliding out as with the Boeing 777, the seats recline too much. Uncomfortable getting in and out of our seats. Also, there are not enough restrooms. Lines of 5-7 people were common. I will not fly the A380 again."

Negativ: "The seats recline too much! The passenger in front of me almost immediately reclined her chair right into my face, making an irritable experience on a long flight for me. That is the only flaw in your service in my experience."

Positiv: "Chairs were uncomfortable, mainly due to the front passenger was always in reclined mode, and the passenger behind me wouldn't let me recline... He would literally push my chair up, but that's probably because his chair can not recline!"
Negativ: "We needed to place special request on vegetarian meal, couldn't do it at booking or at checkin, was told to let crew know, they said it's too late. They brought us an "unclaimed" vegetarian meal, but it wasn't, it was Asian halal meal with lamb! After I let crew member know wmy husband was served meat instead, she denied it and said "its not possible" as the wrapper says "vegetarian". I informed her it actually said "Asian halal", she the proceeded to say, well, "i am sorry if it's wrong, but I gave you vegetarian". That said crew member collected my husband's plates while I was in the bathroom and came back later with a "vegan" plate that they now have available."

Positiv: "The seats were comfortable (economy), headrest excellent. Crew especially hospitable. Good food. It was nice to be offered drinks and food without extra charge, including alcoholic drinks ( even though we did not drink on the flight). I appreciate that Lufthansa does not charge for checked bag, food etc and hope to fly again on Lufthansa."
Negativ: "Having to pay for seat reservation ahead of the flight. I did not understand how seat selection would work and wanted to be sure my husband and I were seated together. I think I paid extra fees unnecessarily. It would be helpful to have better information."

Negativ: "Boarding was delayed by 30 minutes but they did not inform us of the delay so everyone stood in line the entire time."

Positiv: "Initially things were smooth. Boarding was on time."
Negativ: "But then they deboarded the plane and everything went south fast. They didn't tell us what was happening or where to go or what to do. Instead we were directed to different service centers. We were told conflicting things. Sometimes they told us to exit the airport through passport control, but without any information on what to do next. They reopened the terminal but then redirected us to a service center. That center was overloaded and we ended up waiting in line for service/information for the entire day. Once I was near the service center they dissipated the line. They told us there was another service center in a different part of the airport and that this one we have waited for was closing. We went there and it was also closed instead they had beds without blankets or pillows limit the halls. Alia we were in line for hours before they offered any water or food. Food was really late. Information was the problem here. We were not told what we should do except to check with the service center. Eventually a few of us tried to get through passport control and check the service center out front. This worked much better. I was able to get a hotel and a standby ticket. That flight went much better but getting that far was a mess."

Positiv: "I used to fly lufthansa for my europe travel for work about 15 years ago a lot and thought in recent years it may not have been as good but these flights made me appreciate Lufthansa anew. Crew extremely helpful and polite, always followed up to any requests. Instead of barking at us like United or American crew, they went out of their way to help my daughter get a makeshift icepack for some very painful bumps she got during our vacation. Crew also kept the bathrooms clean from time to time, which was a welcome relief for such a long flight. Desk staff/service desk also was helpful in directing us during the 5 hr layover to things at the airport itself that we could do. They also helped reprint the boarding pass and write down the baggage tags when security made me lose those by separating my wallet and boarding passes into mutliple bins."
Negativ: "Phone service. When I tried to book my seats and meals, the lady kept getting things wrong, and ended up not getting me the seats I had specifically ended up asking for. So, when I arrived at the airport and printed my boarding cards, those were seats I did NOT want and all the service desks insisted that's what I asked for. No low carb meal option was surprising. Meal service sometimes felt like too close to each other else too far apart from snacks - didn't feel like we had enough time to digest and get some sleep, while at other times we were seeking out snacks.Overall good quality of food however."

Positiv: "Enough leg room in economy class and feather pillows with cotton pillowcases made all the difference! They served lunch,dinner, and two snacks. Nice and clean bathrooms, very nice crew."
Negativ: "I wish they had new movies, but overall, they offered a good entertainment."

Negativ: "It would have been nice to know if each meal contained cheese, as oposed to just general "chicken and rice" and "noodles with marinara and cheese" It turned ut the rice was in a cheese sauce, and i could not eat it, and could also not eat the alternate option. Please think about giving out a detailed list of ingredients for the in flight meals so we can make more informed choices when we have food restrictions!"

Positiv: "Flight from Marseille was delayed. Very tight connection time to make the SFO leg of the trip (30 minutes). A Lufthansa representative met us at the gate along with another passenger and took us via van to passport control and then to a terminal far away from the one we landed. She was courteous and efficient. We get to the gate in time to board."
Negativ: "My seat was in row 56, second to last row. The temperature was very cold. I asked a flight attendant to make it a warmer. They tried but to no avail. The flight attendant mentioned that aircraft model (now 15 years old) has had that problem that has never been resolved. Solution was wearing a hat and several blankets. Not good for a 12 hour flight."

Negativ: "This was one of the most uncomfortable flights I've ever been on. The extra cushion attached to the chairs behind our heads made the chairs very uncomfortable pushing our heads too far forward. Not only was it difficult to sleep, it ended up giving me a terrible back and neck ache. The flight from Dubrovnik to Munich didn't have this extra cushion but the flight from Munich to San Francisco did. It's a terrible feature and should be removed. Lastly, the food on this flight was awful and it made me sick. I traveled in Croatia and Montenegro for 2 weeks and didn't get sick once but I got sick from the airline food on the way home, that's pretty disgusting."

Positiv: "The cabin and gate crew provided a very friendly atmosphere. At the gate, the staff were very efficient in getting passengers on board despite the 20-30 minute delay. During the flight, attendants did a good job making sure meals were on time and drinks were offered often."
Negativ: "Since the plane clearly came from another destination, the cleaning crew at Vienna International Airport could have taken some more time to vacuum the floor and wipe down the surfaces in the passenger cabin of the aircraft."

Positiv: "I liked the crew on the flight."
Negativ: "I was frustrated with the staff at the desk in the airport, as we boarded 20miutes late and they did not feel it necessary to give any comment on the situation. Everyone was puzzled as to why we were not boarding, or if there was a problem. Even the screens did not show any change."

Negativ: "@Austrian Airlines & @Airport Vienna: die Konkurrenz kann das viel besser: Wenn man sich schon wegen des Zubringerfluges OS736 verspätet, und den Anschlussflug OS273 gerade noch erreichen kann, ist es Service orientiert wenn man die Passagiere a) über den Anschlussflug informiert b) mit Priorität durch den obligatorischen Security Bereich begleitet c) dem Personal am Gate Bescheid sagt, dass noch Passagiere boarden kommen Keine Infos wie wir zum Gate kommen, kein Priority beim durchlaufen des Flughafens und dann noch Security Check und dann noch das entfernteste Gate (F31), was es geben kann"

Positiv: "Das Bodenpersonal am Abflughafen schien leicht überfordert, obwohl die alle freundlich und nett waren. Die Cabin Crew im Flugzeug war ganz in Ordnung, Informationen über die Verspätung wurde über die Boardansage kommuniziert. Allerdings haben diese Bemühungen die Situation danach, welche ich auch zum Flug zähle, nicht verbessern können."

Negativ: "So at first it was announced that drinks would not be served due to anticipated turbulence. No turbulence occurred so drink service began-- stewardesses did not ensure the plastic cups were attached to trolley securely and so they fell all over us and on the ground--me and some other passengers helped to pick them off the floor-- they said thank you and used the cups on the floor for passengers drinks. Um....no thanks-please get new cups!"

I am not sure what happened but food was barely edible: breakfast eggs were like rubber and Lunch was served with a tiny sandwich. For a 10 hour flight it was not even sufficient"

Positiv: "Ich liege die Flüge mit Lufthansa, weil da einfach für mich alles stimmig ist. Ich hoffe, daß das so bleibt und daß die Lufthansa nicht wie andere Fluglinien am Service einspart."
