When we got to the airport, we tried to check in at the Lufthansa kiosk and check in line, but they told us we had to go to the Air Canada area. The ticketing/check in process was very confusing. As for the food, the chicken "wrap" was not a wrap, and was a weird Hot-Pocket type meal. After each meal, we ended up having to hold our garbage for quite some time which made manuvering in and out of seats a little tricky. I wish the seat cushion had a little more cushion since we were sitting for so long. Also at some point the overhead lights came on and stayed on, which was annoying if you were trying to nap."

Terrible customer service, the bag was missing for four days causing us to spend time shopping for clothes rather than experiencing the city."

Essen (Smart-Tarif) nicht toll; keine Option ohne Kuhmilch."

As a matter of fact I ended up declining the last meal served because I was still full from the first meal and snack. The crew was friendly and professional. I really liked the bathroom waiting area on the lower deck, which was great place to stretch out and do a few exercises on a long flight."
Negativ: "To begin with I should mention I am 6'1" and stocky, so the economy seat was a bit tight; my knees were against the back of the seat in front of me. The previous flight coming to Europe had more room between the seats. The biggest problem by far was that the Eurowings flight was delayed by 8 hours! The Lufstansa customer service at first handed us a sheet of paper with contact information for Eurowings, Once she found out that we booked the original flight through Air Canada, she was able to help us get another flight. The flight was routed through San Francisco, with a transfer to a United flight to Las Vegas. Unfortunately, the United flight has 'technical' issues that delayed it another three and a half hours! So, rather than getting home to Las Vegas at 4 p.m. on Thursday, we ended up getting home at 4 a.m. on Friday morning. We never were told why the original flight was delayed 8 hours!"

Positiv: "2 hours queue at check in for all eurowings flights from PMI. Several eurowings counters were closed although masses were waiting. This made my pregnant girlfriend and me run to the plane, as we had only 20min left till departure. And this all for a 300€ per person flight from VIE to PMI."

I was then told that I should be looking for Eurowings. Not a problem except that it is very unclear where their check in desk was. I stood around for 20 minutes asking anyone who would help me where the desk was. We were finally notified at 8:40 that eurowings was the last desk in the aisle."

Negativ: "I could not check in online the evening prior as there were no more standard seats to select, and therefore could not purchase an extra check-in bag with online prices. I called Eurowings and they advised to just go to the airport and check-in. Was forced to pay a much higher price at the check-in counter at the airport. Either the online system has been set up to rip off the consumer or this is a farce."

Negativ: "Our gate number was shown 10 minutes before the gate was supposed to close at 19.05. We were kept standing until 19.35 (when the flight was scheduled to depart) and then the door was opened, just for us to sit on the staircase waiting to be admitted into the plane for another 20 minutes. I understand delays and unforeseen events, but no rep had the courtesy of telling us why we had been kept waiting this way, on the contrary we were told to move further down the stairs so we can make more room, resulting in being crammed one next to each other. Eventually at around 8 pm we were finally allowed to get on the plane. Not a cool experience, especially when Luton is 2hrs away from London so the passengers had already spent at least 3-4 hours on the road to get to the airport."

Positiv: "Es wird schon zu Beginn des Online Check in darauf aufmerksam gemacht das nur die ersten 90 Gepäck Stücke auch wirklich platz finden, deshalb kann oder soll zusätzlich priority gebucht werden..... Nur leider sinnlos da die Gepäck Stücke dann doch im fußraum landen.. An sich aber ein guter preiswerter Flug"

Die Informationen kamen spärlich, spät und in heruntergehaspeltem Englisch, kaum zu verstehen. Kundenfreundlichkeit sieht anders aus. (Mitarbeiter der Deutschen Bahn würden bei einem solchen Verhalten von den Passagieren geteert und gefedert...)"

Negativ: "The airport is not well air conditioned. We were then led to the tunnel BEFORE our airplane arrived only to stand there with no air conditioning. It was sweltering and we had direct sunlight at sunset. It was stifling in there for 20-30 minute. Very very uncomfortable and aggravating."

Negativ: "I paid extra for priority boarding and, though I was one of the first 20 passengers on board, I was not allowed to put my bag in the overheard compartment. I was told to put both my purse (not a tiny one, mind you) and my carry on bag under the seat. And, because I had an isle seat, the space was smaller than average. So I had to fly cramped up. Because I'm not an EU citizen, I had to queue up as if to check in luggage to have a stamp placed on my boarding pass. Then another queue to board the plane because they don't bother to call by row or group number like most airlines. The boarding was chaotic. The seats are very uncomfortable. They don't even give you one small cup of water. You have to pay 3 euros for a bottle of water that would cost you 1 elsewhere. Finally, the landing was very hard and shook everyone about."

Positiv: "Arrived at 5.45, checked in, gone through security by 06.30. Flight delayed by 15 minutes, due to passengers not Ryanair. Arrived 15 minutes early so would have arrived earlier at Palma. Staff seemed friendly. No real complaints."

Positiv: "The ticket was cheap."
Negativ: "We had a RT from Rome to Athens. When we returned we arrived at 11pm with a flight at 6am. I had intended to go to a hotel 0.2 mile away, but when we got there and I found out I had to pay a min $50 fee to the cab to leave the airport, I balked. We considered just waiting it out in the airport; until midnight when they suddenly cleared the airport of all the people waiting for transfers and had everyone wait outside on the sidewalk (no seating or anything). I was in shorts and it was 45F. Sigh. Both going to and coming from Athens boarding was more like a riot. I was told it was because Italians were hot blooded. Whatever. I awaited bloodshed. My mother is 73 and we had asked for assistance with boarding. We waited as people filled the hall, surrounded the podium, and slowly were shoved on board, and still no wheelchair or assistance. We kept being told to calm as the gate closed and the departure time passed. Eventually a very nice man got mom loaded like cargo and it was kind of fun, but I didn't get the impression that the airport or Ryanair were a particularly well oiled machine. As usual, arm + leg for baggage. No free drinks and teh entertainment was a non stop cavalcade of sales from the overhead of everything from perfume to lottery tickets. If I had a long trip in a city and wanted to take a short jump to a Ryanair city with my skivvies in my purse, this is a great airline. It's crappy in every way, but cheap. But, if you want a suitcase or food or a seat that doesn't worry you about it's cleanliness and give you leg cramps for weeks, pony up for the extra."

Negativ: "Firstly we were delayed for two and a half hours which caused us to arrive after midnight making it very hard to find transport home. The seats were very uncomfortable and wouldn't tilt back at all. We were hungry because we had waited for 2+ hours and we were not provided with any food onboard. Not a fun flight."
