Und da das Weiterflug-Gate direkt in der Nähe war, konnte man den Flieger auch ohne erneute und unnötige Sicherheitskontrolle erreichen. Allerdings gab's auch keine Passkontrolle. Mir sollte es Recht sein."

Alle nass ins Flugzeug. Aber, das liegt natürlich an der Abfertigung in Birmingham und nicht an KLM."

Die hinteren Reihen hatten auf einem 13,5 Stunden-Flug nie die Möglichkeit vegetarisches Essen zu bekommen und es gab zwischendurch keine Snacks oder Getränke, man konnte allerdings zu den Flugbegleitern gehen und danach fragen."

Website könnte den Andrang nicht standhalten. In Zeiten von cloud Services unverzeihlich. Stundenlanges versuchen bei der Hotline um zumindest in die Warteschlange zu gelangen. Umgebuchter Flug wurde dann aus unersichtluchen Gründen nochmal annulliert. Alles von vorn. Niemand kann etwas zur Kostenübernahme sagen. Ich kam 3tage später an. Nie wieder Brittisch Airways!!!!"

When I called in for cancellation at the airline, they told me to talk to my agent company Cheaptickets. Cheaptickets simply told me that I can't get any money back, and was extremely arrogant and impatient. Later (for a week I was trying to save this ticket by talking to the British Embassy to see if I can get the visa done and they are just "we can't help you") they told me that I can get a refund of like 30 SGD and they promised to send me an e-mail about it. They never ever did. I also tried to change the dates and the handling fee + fair difference was like 1200 SGD (are you joking?) they simply told me, prices fluctuate... Finally I went to the check in counter desperate. The staff even refused to talk to me about my situation because simply, "there is no BA ticket office in Singapore" and told me to call them. I said the office is closed, but they are like, yeah just call them. They swept me off like a moron. Extremely arrogant, impatient, insensitive. I paid 900 SGD for nothing and a whole week of anxiety and regret. I will never take this and I will never use Cheaptickets or Kayak anymore. So bad."

On the flight from Mex City to LAX the bathroom facilities were so limited that some Economy class passengers had to try to use the business class or first class facilities' An FA then came on the intercom and said Economy class must only use their own facilities and this is according to an FAA regulation. THat is a straight out lie. If you eliminate bathrooms from Economy class to squeeze in more seats this problem will persist. American Airlines should be ashamed of itself."

Positiv: "Security checkpoint was very quick, being a Sunday morning, and we departed on time. Everything was very normal."

Positiv: "Flight from Dallas to Boston was comfortable and pilot made up for lost time in previous flight"
Negativ: "Flight leaving Reno was 40 minutes late due to a plane not coming in which is just a part of flying but after the plane arrived we had to wait an additional 20 minutes to board because the flight attendants got off the plane to do whatever in the airport and then the same ones came back 15-20 minutes later and got on the plane. I should not almost miss the flight so the staff can get off the plane to stretch their legs or get a coffee."

Positiv: "Nothing. Two flights were canceled for "weather" when all signs pointed to lack of equipment. I drove from CLT to TRI and the weather was fine."
Negativ: "American failed to be timely or honest about the reasons for the canceled flights and did not offer refunds or alternative transport. It's only a 3 hour drive from CLT to TRI. They could have offered a bus. We'd even have paid bus fare. I had to hire a $500 driver because car rental was unavailable and American could not provide an open flight."

Positiv: "The flight overall. Also, it landed early."
Negativ: "In Charlotte, they had to deplane on the tarmac and my daughter had a crutch, so she had to sit on the steps to go down them."

Negativ: "I paid so much for the ticket I should gotten better seating. all the way to the back middle seat. Not cool!"

Negativ: "The fact that there was no Air condition on the plane and none or the american airlines staff or crew realise this till the flight was well on its way, that cause a lil stir on the flight with the heat as well the air hostess wasnt mindfull and helpfull enuff to give more beverages or ice to try and help the situation .... one cabin attendant eventually came with some damped wipes on a tray ,but was handing it out with his bare hands that was very distasteful and unsanitary"

Negativ: "The flight attendants were a little stand off-ish. I sat directly behind a screaming toddler on a red-eye. Not that the airline had any control over that, but it was terrible."

Negativ: "When we landed, the people in the back of the plane didn't want to wait to let you out of your row, so I had to fight to get out of my row, I was in a window seat, and literally had to almost trip someone to get them to let me out of my seat."

Positiv: "well it did get us to our destination eventually"
Negativ: "The flight was over and over delayed due to no captain would be available. In the end the flight was leaving 4 hours late and no compensation like free food voucher would be offered. We were hungry and they let us wait the last 40min in the plane until the finally could find a co-pilot. No information was offered to the passenger as to when we would be leaving"

Positiv: "The flight operated safely and the flying time was shorter than normal."
Negativ: "Delayed departure from PHX by more than one hour; no beverages provided to first class passengers after boarding and inspite of delayed departure; first class flight attendant did not recognize that I had preordered my meal entree nor did he ever call me by name as an Elite Platinum member. The aircraft leather seat back 1F was torn leather, showing signs of poor maintenance of the interior cabin. No electric outlets at seat for recharging portable electronic devices."

Negativ: "Food only if you pay extra around 5-10usd. Service pretty old"

Positiv: "I liked that the flight wasn't particularly full, so I had an empty seat next to me and could sleep a lot more comfortably. The crew was friendly."
Negativ: "The meals were very oddly timed. I couldn't stomach lunch food at 10 a.m. Dusseldorf time (and 3 a.m. in Chicago). Also, the plane was older, so there weren't individual screens at each seat, which is understandable, but it makes the 8+ hour flight feel longer when you aren't interested in the in-flight programming."

Negativ: "Well it’s nothing you can change I was pleased that the flight took 8 hours instead of 9 but because we were early it was a bit inconvenient that Heathrow had us do a “hard” arrival I think that’s what it was called so instead of a gate we got off on the tarmac."

Negativ: "Less passengers or bigger plane means more room. Everything was perfect except for being uncomfortably cramped."

Positiv: "Love the seat. Left side best going to Jackson hole"

Positiv: "Seat was ok because we paid more or has a “status”"
Negativ: "Nothing has changed and nothing will-services is nothing to write home about, with yr little pack of pretzels-i am happy to get safely to my destination and that’s all that matters"

Negativ: "The flight was 4 hours late to leave and American did nothing to try and remedy the situation. Unacceptable that we are this late. I missed my meetings and they won’t offer any kind of voucher for future travel. But yet we have to pay for change fees!?!? I will absolutely avoid flying American."

Positiv: "It was a red eye. So good to be seated, quiet. not too crowded."
Negativ: "It was really GOOD overall."

Positiv: "Crew was fine but you can’t hear anything they are saying over intercom"
Negativ: "Plane was late getting to gate then lightning kept luggage from being taken off and put on and on top of continued lightning, plane was 1 hr plus late getting out"

Positiv: "This was a quick flight - 39 mins I also got an upgrade too"

Positiv: "Flight arrived a little earlier than expected"
Negativ: "Mishandling of luggage my bag did not arrive at the same time I did had to get it send to my home. Still waiting on my luggage."
