Mir sollte es Recht sein."

And despite the flight taking place entirely during daylight hours and leaving at 10:30 am, inexplicably we were made to all pull our blinds down and the lights went off after a couple of hours - in the middle of the day and for about 8 hours! So although I had paid for a window seat there was nothing to see apart from the window shade. As it was the middle of the day I could not go to sleep, the person in front of me reclined fully so for me the flight was a hot, claustropobic, dark hell. An utterly miserable experience. I felt like I was going mad, trapped in my own little cell."

We would have chosen to not sit together rather than endure that had we been given the option. Also, the menu they distributed said they serve ice cream but we asked and then didn't have any. According to a few people I spoke to, it was because of a protest. I was not emailed or notified that I was wasting my time and money trying getting to an airport that wasn't flying out any planes that day. I was very distraught and disappointed because I am a foreigner and there was no representative front the airport or airline that this was happening and what's are the next steps I should take to get on the next plane back to United States. I spent hours and hours calling Aeromar about rebooking my flight for tomorrow so I can get out of this city. It was a nightmare on the phone because it was like the employees were trained not to help. I was told it wasn't their fault, and I need to call aero Mexico to get this straightened out. Not one employee from the many I spoke to consistently throughout the day tried to rebook my flight. They wanted me to pay for another flight which is absolutely ridiculous. I missed my flight because of some protest, something not in my control, and i kept being told too bad. I did not get offfere one solution by your staff. I was left to figure what I was going to do by myself. I didn't leave Puerto Escondido until 24 hours after I was suppose to and it was not by the help of your staff. Because of this, I will highly consider not buying tickets from this airline of their is any other option because it was an awful experience. One of He aero Mexico employees told me to stop acting childish because I was upset about missing my flight for reasons i didn't control. The customer service for aero Mexico was worse then aeromar. They kept blaming aero mar and kept saying they need to figure everything out, yet these two airline work together. Aero Mexico is the one that helps get the flight to other smaller cities. All around I had a miserable day and not one person I called from aero Mexico, like aero mar helped me or offered a solution."

When returning to JFK from Mexico City, I was lucky with my checked bag, but when boarding the flight, an employee had me put my carry-on, my purse, the heavy wool coat I had removed during security, along with a 1.5L bottle of water and other items I'd purchased in the terminal, on a scale, then declared my carry-ons were 4 kilos over the airline's allowance. I then had to head down the terminal to a customer service desk to pay ~$60USD so I'd be allowed to board and not miss my flight. I was the last person on-board. They didn't do this at JFK on my 1st leg of the trip, as I suspect they know they'd never get away with this in the States. I spoke to employees aboard the flight, then at JFK upon arrival, and also on the phone. No luck yet regarding a refund for highway robbery."

Positiv: "Arrived 1:30 hour with carry on before the flight to check in, the self check in me send me to an agent to get a boarding pass, there was 4 lanes, check in on one the agent ask me to go the the other lane after half hour wait, then on the other lane the send me to the third and by the time I get to the agent about 40 minutes before the flight, they told me that the flight is closed and I had to buy another ticket. As it was the last flight of the day I had to spend the night in the hotel airport at my expense $210 and book anothe flight in the morning with United at my expense $262. So bad service!!"

One of the meals was pasta with sauce (which was supposed to be the least popular meal) and a meal with chicken and rice. the rice had cheese in it, a large percentage of the people on the flight were unable to eat it. Only after finding out about the cheese did I understand why no one took te chicken dish."
