We were told to keep our seats upright during meal times and to keeo our window shutters down during other times. This made sense. But there were passengers right in front of us who had their seats reclined during meal time and the crew did not tell them anything."

Positiv: "The food and drinks were great on our flight there. Leg room was the same (cramped). However, on the flight back, the food was pretty bad and for some reason the service was also bad. After requesting a drink I got on the way to Tokyo, I was told that they would make it and come back. No one came back with the drink. The second time they came around with orange juice. I asked just for water since I was over the drink. They said they would get it and never came back. I had to use the call button and ask again for water."

This racket is the ultimate way to rip somebody off of $1000. Horrible."

Negativ: "I waited in line for 90 minutes to check my bag. Pace of that line moved extremely slowly. I fly frequently. Other airlines are more efficient. Delay 45 Min. in taking off. Delay upon arrival as we waited for what must have been 30-45 min for a people transporter to take us to our gate. I was at the back of the plane and I swear it seemed like they only had one bus making the (long) journey back and forth. All told I arrived over two hours late to my destination for reasons that are likely poor business design. Not a great experience."

Negativ: "Because the system of on arrival visa has been opened to Indian folks , entire plane was crowded with indecent , uncultured Men. Mostly drunkards who would not stop at couple of drinks. Added to their worst behavior was the airlines providing unlimited amount of Liquor that was being offered by the crew after the food was served, this was quite annoying and unexpected. Thai Airways Please stop serving Liquor for God's sake , especially for folks travelling from India (Only this route) or charge $100 THB for a drink, this would stop those free riders from messing up other tourists happy vacation."

Negativ: "Essen war okay, aber nicht mehr spitze wie früher. Leider haben wir dieses mal anscheinend Sitzplätze erwischt, die voll im Abstrahlbereich der Klimaanlage lagen. (Da es keine Luftdüsen pro Platz gab nicht regelbar). Vielleicht ist das Ganze ja bauart-bedingt bei dieser Ausführung der Boeing 747-300?? Bin aber schon oft geflogen und habe noch nie so auf einem Flug gefroren (trotz langer Kleidung + Decke)."

Positiv: "Der Flug ist puenktlich gestartet, das Essen war gut, das Flugpersonal freundlich ! Die niegelnagelneuen Flugzeuge von Thai Airways sind ein Genuss, geraeumig, sauber, durchdacht !"

Positiv: "I bought a ticket on Thai Airways because it was the cheapest I could find other than AirAsia, I used to fly AirAsia but they now charge for almost everything. Next AirAsia will be charging an air breathing fee. I think your stewards and stewardesses are good! I like your logo and colors. I like that you fly out of Suvannaphum Airport,"
Negativ: "I am truly shocked that on an Asian flight, with so many excellent Asian dishes, they served starchy, fatty, buttery, oil soaked croissant covered hot dogs and a greasy, gut buster cheese and mushroom I don't know what. Are you trying to give your future clients heart disease? To top it off, in a country blessed with excellent fresh fruit, you topped it off with another oily, starchy desert. Thank God you had water! Bangkok Air has a lounge for economy passengers, but not Thai Airways. Why not?"

Negativ: "Der Flug startete mit 45 min Verspätung, obwohl das Boarding pünktlich begann. Die vorab georderte Früchtemahlzeit - ich esse gern leicht auf langen Flügen, weil ich sonst nicht schlafen kann - wurde nicht serviert. Also nahm ich stattdessen Thai-Curry, wie es "unthailändischer" nicht schmecken kann. Und das bei Thai Airways. Die Bordunterhaltung wäre theoretisch sehr gut gewesen, nach den angebotenen Filmen zu urteilen, aber Kopfhörer wurden nicht ausgeteilt."

When I checked in to return to Bangkok, they had me flagged in the system for a lost item. Not only did they have my tablet but everyone from the airline staff to airport security knew about the incident and was happy to get my tablet back to me."

Das habe ich an Thai Airways weitergeben. Der Transport vom Auto bis zum Einstieg ins Flugzeug wurde super durchgeführt. Check In, Passkontrolle bis zum Bording war Klasse. Auch wurde alles an München weitergegeben, so dass auch da der Transport vom Flieger bis zur Abholung vom Parkservice hervorragend klappte. Danke an Thai Airways und auch an der Münchner Flughafen"

Positiv: "Excellent service on board and in the check in and gate area. Love the frequency of hot towels."
Negativ: "The seats need to be upgraded to the lie-flat standard of other airlines -- the current seats are not comfortable for sleeping. Thai undersells itself by not offering Thai food on its international flights. There were no amenity kits!"

Negativ: "Beim Online Checkin haben wir festgestellt, dass wir nicht nebeneinander sitzen. Die Plätze zu ändern war leider nicht möglich, somit mussten wir auf den Online Checkin verzichten. Am Flughafen mussten wird dann auch mehrmals nachfragen und bitten bis und die Dame nebeneinander setzte. Die Auswahl an Filmen war etwas mager."

Positiv: "Sehr ruhiger Flug. Kurzeitige Turbulenzen, die jedoch vom Piloten angekündigt wurden und daher nicht überraschend kamen."
Negativ: "Die Filmauswahl war leider nur sehr mäßig und gering. Das Essen war Ok, jedoch war unsere Dame ziemlich genervt und man musst sich mit dem Essen und Trinken sehr beeilen, da sehr flott wieder alles abgeräumt wurde."

Positiv: "Sehr ruhiger Flug ohne Turbulenzen. Für die kurze Strecke ein sehr großer und komfortabler Flieger (A330)"

Negativ: "Beim Check In wurde mein Wunsch nach einem Platz am Gang ignoriert. So musste ich in der Mitte Sitzen."

Negativ: "Haven't seen such a crew where they are so rude to the passengers."

Negativ: "Old aircraft. Business class seats only recline at an angle so sleeping is very uncortable. Tv screen and movie selection are poor."

Negativ: "Anscheinend Unstimmigkeiten der Passagier- Zahl führte zu langem Rollweg und Aussteigen über Gangway und Bus. Dadurch 20 Minuten Verspätung, obwohl der Flug eigentlich pünktlich war. Es wurde 2* gezählt."

Positiv: "Der kurze Direktflug ist der einzige Vorteil bei Thai Airways."
Negativ: "Für den hohen Preis im Vergleich zu anderen Airlines ist der Komfort und das Essen eher als mäßig zu bezeichnen."

Positiv: "Man hätte nichts besser machen können. Sehr freundliches Personal, das Essen schmeckte hervorragend und die Unterhaltung am Bord war 1A Klasse. :)"

Negativ: "Seating in Economy class is terrible. For tall persons like me it is a punshment to be squeazed in such a narrow space. Turkish airlines should add more space and comfort with their seating in Economy. Introduce a Premium Economy Class would solve that problem"

Negativ: "My luggage just disappeared on a flight from VIE to Istanbul. Those lost baggage handlers are totally unmotivated also. No explanation at site, barely any email follow up. That's it????? Also on the way back they took away cameras. My professional camera and lens equipment was handled poorly, thrown around carelessly and the lens got damaged. I am quite unhappy with this airline"

Negativ: "They took 4 days to reach my destination and my last destination they could not provide me with a seat so I had to buy it from my own pocket . The luggage came after 5 days with it missing 12 pounds of stuff. Never go on this airline. They don't care about customers especially in istambul and Mumbai. Overall, very crowded airport. - The plane had older entertainment system with no USB port to charge-up the cell phone nor a power outlet."

Negativ: "First let me tell you that when I booked a flight to Istanbul from Brussels, I booked, so I thought, the airport called Istanbul Ataturk with the initials of IST. What I got was SAW after I paid for a booking that said IST. Sabina Gokcen is one hour away further on the Asian side of Turkey. I did not want this airport! There was nothing I could do about this but bite the bullet & accept what I got since I was not allowed to have any corrections made after paying for this ticket. I am highly disappointed with Kayak. The first time you have disappointed me greatly!"

Negativ: "I know seats in the 777-300 recline but do not disrupt the next row's space. That was not the case on the Airbus A330-300. It would be nice if the same seats were on the Airbus aircraft I flew from Istanbul to Bangkok."

Positiv: "So I never actually flew with Turkish this trip, but I can write about my rerouting experiences. Inbound my first connection to Istanbul was cancelled due to technical problems. Fortunately I was second in the ticket office line and was promptly rebooked with Lufthansa. My return flight was cancelled because of the coup, and again I was rebooked with Lufthansa."
Negativ: "Overall Turkish Airlines did well in a difficult situation. But a few concerns. On my inbound flight, the agent servicing us was amazing and I was fortunate to be second in line, but the airline was ill prepared for the situation and the agent was being hung out to dry by his colleagues who kept calling him and wouldn't let him do his job. On the return flight, I was frustrated the agents at first pushed me to take a refund rather than letting me rebook with a partner. I ended up having to leave a day later than expected, and didn't get an itinerary till the morning after my original flight. This was all very stressful. Lastly, you have to think twice about flying through Turkey. Although this coup is over, the next crisis will be over whether President Erdogan creeping authoritarianism."

Positiv: "Security at the Ataturk airport. Airtight and curious. No wonder terrorists could only strike outside."
Negativ: "Departure time is always ten tative with Turkish. Even though they clearly were expecting a late departure, passengers weren't notified. When boarding time was pushed back 30 minutes, it was already 22 minutes overdue (and it started much later then eve n the pushed back time). Terrible standards/"

Negativ: "The seats area are too small my knees hurt as they hit just the edge of the food tray, impossible flight with the seat other than straight as you will be disturbing a lot the other passengers, although unfortunately some people do not care about the confort of the others"

Negativ: "They scheduled our connection flight from Munich to Dulles Wash DC to close to our arrival. For example, the flight from Athens landed just four minutes before boarding started for our connection and we had to go through German customs. Luckily for us there were many passengers on the Athens flight that were also going on Dulles flight the airline waited for the passengers. This scheduling issue caused unnecessary stress that could have been avoided."

Negativ: "Seats are very uncomfortable. Body wants to slide forward."

Positiv: "Service and food were excellent. Plane was clean, on time, smooth ride."

Negativ: "Problems with the check-in online that made it impossible and cause that me and my partner had to seated not together. In the counters at the airport, we asked if it was possible a solution as I suffer with big anxiety and needed to be together my partner during the flight, and they answered us in an extremely rude way. Luckily we could change it with other passangers inside the plane by ourselves. Not a fault of Lufthansa but something that made the flight HORRIBLE was an extremelly smelly and very heavy guy seated next to me that used half of my seat and made me be really uncomfortable."

Negativ: "Flight delayed by one hour which meant I missed by train at Southampton by 10 minutes and subsequent bus connect home. Next bus would have been 2 hours later so 45 minute walk home from train station. Didn't bother with food offering, put off by that supplied from Hannover to Schiphol."

Positiv: "The second flight was on time and even though I spent the night at the Amsterdam airport my baggage was checked through so I did not have to worry about it during the night."
Negativ: "When I asked whether the snack was vegan I got the answer "It's a wrap". When I ordered tomato juice I was forgotten and did not get anything. There were no vegan snacks on each of the flight, but I guess that would be too much to wish for ;)"

Positiv: "Personal sehr gut"
Negativ: "Essen na ja muss man nicht haben - viel Verpackungsmüll mittlerweile bei allen Airlines offenbar Standard Sitze in Economy viel zu eng und Sitzabstand zu kurz, für 10-Stunden-Nachtflug eigentlich unzumutbar (gilt vermutlich auch für die meisten andeen Airlines. Die 747-400 erscheint mir mittlerweile doch sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Ich empfand sie (vermutlich wars die Klimatisierung?!) als deutlich lauter als den A380"

KEIN SERVICE, EINFACH NUR SCHLECHT UND ÄRGERLICH!"

Positiv: "The crew were really helpful since I am a short person in putting my luggage away in the overhead compartment and attentive to everyone's needs. I am a fussy eater and don't really like airplane food but the food was actually really nice. We was given plenty of snacks and drinks in between meals as well. There was plenty of programmes to choose from to keep me entertained."
Negativ: "The seats in economy were a little too small for a 12 hour flight"

Positiv: "Overall, my trip to Cardiff via Amsterdam was smooth and delightful. I've flown a few short trips this summer and I was pleasantly surprised to find KLM still offered complimentary snacks. What a refreshing change!"
Negativ: "There was no entertainment which is why I assigned that category only one star. The boarding process in Amsterdam could have been a bit smoother. Announcements were no clear."

Und da das Weiterflug-Gate direkt in der Nähe war, konnte man den Flieger auch ohne erneute und unnötige Sicherheitskontrolle erreichen. Allerdings gab's auch keine Passkontrolle. Mir sollte es Recht sein."

Negativ: "Einchecken in Birmingham eine Katastrophe. Lange Schlange und Wartezeit von mindestens einer halben Stunde beim Boarding. Es wird schon der Final Call ausgerufen, während die Passagiere alle in der Schlange vor der Abfertigung stehen. Und dann bei strömendem Regen zu Fuss zum Flieger, weil er nicht andoggen kann. Alle nass ins Flugzeug. Aber, das liegt natürlich an der Abfertigung in Birmingham und nicht an KLM."

Negativ: "Since we had two extra bags (paid for in Chicago), they demanded to see my receipt before we could board in Amsterdam to Nairobi. We had trouble locating the receipt and we were not given an explanation as to why we needed it again. We were traveling with 5 kids including an infant and we were not allowed to board until we found the receipt. I thought surely they would have record that I had paid, but I guess not. We were the last to board and all very stressed out. The staff seemed not to care the least in our troubles."

Negativ: "Flight was delayed and because of this I missed my connection flight to Amsterdam"

Negativ: "One and a half hour delay on a 50 minute flight. Flight was operated by Cityjet on behalf of KLM. Never have I seen such bad customer service: from rude people at the bagage drop off to incompetent hostesses at the boarding gate."
