I pay for business class so I can have some peace and quiet ! Crew informed everyone that they switch this family seat due to the safety of this family seat. I understand they need seats but crew should upgrade another couple with no toddlers and maybe a star alliance gold member rather than give this family with the toddlers the upgrade. No one wants to pay for business class with 2toddlers crying and up and down aisle ."

The line stretched for half a mile. 3. Cutting, disorganization, mismanagement, lack of organization, and airport layout all contributed to making this a very stressful hour for us."

Negativ: "I was due to fly from London to Entebbe via Brussels. Sixteen hours after boarding the flight, I am still in Brussels. We try to complete the assignment another day. My criticism was the overoptimism of the captain how quickly things would happen and on arrival in Brussels the total unpreparedness of the ground staff to cope with half a plane load of people with connections having missed those connections."

They allowed a full flight of passengers to board with excess luggage, forcing all of us to wait while those people deplaned you check bags. The resulting fracas resorted in several heated arguments, and seemed close to a fist fight. One grounds crew member on the jetway was extraordinarily rude. Wish I knew her name to report it. This was truly the worst flight experience of my life, and I am a frequent traveler."

Finally the night supervisor came out and told us that he can't do anything. He said the day managers would've been the ones to help us. They've already gone home after the football game ended. They wanted to charge us $840 USD each for new tickets"

All of the passengers were confused because we weren't sure which flight number to use for the gate -- now that an additional stop was added to the itinerary. I've been try for a week now to get a cancellation letter from the airlines so my travel insurance will rememburse me the extra $1800 I had to spend on new flights to get home. I was told by the airlines they may look at my case sometime in the next 30 days to give me the letter I need. Really! All you have to do is hit a key on your computer to kick one out. Never again with these guys!"

Negativ: "I was removed from the boarding line right before entering the plane and told that I had been issued a standby ticket apparently on accident in Barcelona. I was directed to wait, then directed in circles all over the airport for different people to try and help me. Ultimately I ended up in a hotel room around 5am where i am now until my flight at 23:25 tonight. It was annoying and a hassle overall not just for myself but everyone involved including those who patiently tried to help but didn't really know where to send me as well as my driver and family waiting for me in Sierra Leone."

Negativ: "I was told in Casablanca by the check in staff that my checked bags would go all the way to my final destination of Washington, DC, but they were offloaded to a NYC carousel during my first stop to the US. I wasn't told this was going to happen. The lady at Air Maroc said someone told us as we walked off the plane, but I was told it was said intermittently. So I missed it. I was lucky someone told me that it happened. Also the woman from Air Maroc that I rechecked my bags to was so apathetic to what happened. I said I was lodging a complaint - she was smirking and didn't care. It was pretty off putting. All I said was I suggest the announcement is made before you get off the airplane - like when the captain or flight staff announces the gates to connections. It was pretty disappointing."

Positiv: "Food was great as usual. It was free. It was not a full flight so I had a chance to lie down and get some much needed sleep. I had arrived at Dakar airport at 12am for a 6:40 flight because of the strike. My friends in Dakar suggested that I get their that early. So I had no sleep. I was able to check 2 bags without a fee."
Negativ: "We were not informed prior to arrival at airport that there was a crew strike. And that there was a possibility that our flight would be affected. The flight was delayed for 2 hours with no announcements. I had a Mauritanian necklace that I bought while in Senegal 30 years ago. And the female searcher gave me a hard time, would not let me pass through inspection and reported me to her superiors. She insisted that there was something inside of my necklace. It was only when I got nasty with her in French, did she finally let me pass through so I could wait at the boarding gate. I spoke to others who were on their way to Lagos and other parts of Africa who had waited at airport for 2 days with no accommodations."
