Neuseeland hat die Einreise aller Reisenden eingeschränkt, mit Ausnahme von Staatsangehörigen Neuseelands (einschließlich Cookinseln, Niue und Tokelau), Einwohnern und deren Familienangehörigen, Staatsangehörigen Australiens mit Wohnsitz in Neuseeland, samoanischen und tonganischen Staatsbürgern, die wesentliche Reisen unternehmen, Reisenden, die als wesentliche Gesundheitshelfer, andere wesentliche Arbeiter, in Neuseeland ansässige Partner und unterhaltsberechtigte Kinder (bis 19 Jahre) eines Arbeits- oder Studentenvisuminhabers, der sich in Neuseeland befindet, und auf humanitären Flügen einreisen.

Seit 16 Uhr NZST am Sonntag, 11. April 2021, bis Mittwoch, 28. April 2021, dürfen Reisende, die aus Indien nach Neuseeland einreisen möchten, dies nicht mehr tun. Dies ist eine vorübergehende Maßnahme angesichts der hohen Anzahl von Ankünften in Neuseeland mit COVID-19 und gilt für alle Reisenden, einschließlich Bürger und Einwohner Neuseelands. Diese Maßnahme gilt nicht für diejenigen, die Indien vor der Ankündigung des Premierministers am 8. April 2021 verlassen haben. Visa-Beschränkungen oder Suspendierungen sind nicht vorgesehen. Reisende, die von den Cookinseln anreisen und zur Einreise berechtigt sind, müssen 14 Tage lang keine verwaltete Isolationseinrichtung mehr betreten und benötigen daher keinen Gutschein für die verwaltete Isolation.
Reisende dürfen nicht über Neuseeland reisen, mit Ausnahme von Staatsangehörigen und Einwohnern Neuseelands und Staatsangehörigen Australiens, Reisenden mit einer neuseeländischen elektronischen Reisegenehmigung (NZeTA) oder einem von Neuseeland ausgestellten Transitvisum.
Der Transit ist in Auckland (AKL) maximal 24 Stunden lang gestattet.

After a number of flights in Economy on other airlines I'm spoiled by Singapore Airlines and also by Business Class. And their fares seemed much less than others for the JFK to FRA route. All CBP booths were closed, but 8 (eight!) employees, who normally direct arriving passengers to the kiosk-machines where hanging out in two groups sharing private stories and having laughs instead of at least informing passengers, what was going on. Lots of passengers where outraged...a couple in their mid 70s in front of us had to sit down on the floor, since they had circulation problems from standing in line so long. Sadly, JFK isn't what it used to be anymore."

Got to departure gate 12 minutes before plane departure. You need more time to have a good experience !"

My husband was not able to board the flight - no refund, no help - and the sad part was, it wasn't for a holiday - it was to visit and help his 87yr old father-in-law who had fallen and cracked his spine. No sympathy from Virgin, VERY DISAPPOINTED!"

Food: Chicken with peppers average, no good taste Drinks: had to broken cups, one on the top (changed that), one at the bottom with a hole in it. Red wine spilled all over my trousers and pullover. Shit happens, but (a) what about the quality of the goods and (b) how does the crew handle this? Crew/Service: Generally friendly, but the guy who served the red wine had no clue how to handle this: 1. Red wine on cloth is bad to clean 2. After I complained about a possible problem with cleaning and the possibility that the stain would stay, no reaction, only sortiere and the Recommendation from him was to use soda water which was actually not at hand and took him more then 10min to bring it. 3. I requested for the supervisor. She was very friendly and took my email address to write a report on this. I am now waiting for reaction and possible refund for cleaning or more. Another drink was offered but that was all until now. So I am curious about the reaction from Emirates. Overall it seemed like Emirates has a bad standing in BKK: - Bus boarding on B777 - No clear information about gate - Bad quality of material (cups) - For Emirates under average food quality Additional remark: The following connection flight from DXB to DUS, was very good, overall quality as expected from Emirates, food and staff was very good. So the above review from BKK -> DXB might have been an exception."

Positiv: "The seats are comfortable and the service is first rate. Best airline out of Virgin Australia, Air New Zealand, and Qantas based on my 3 trips to New Zealand. It helped that we were on an A380 and because of the lack of the plane being filled both my travel companion and I had 3 seats to ourselves to stretch out. In economy, without that, nothing would have made the trip bearable. That said, the food was good, the entertainment options good, and the after hours water/liquid/snack options were quite good."
