Qantas, Air New Zealand, and other airlines we've taken bikes with us on our flights have charged nothing when we traveled in the same fashion. So, if you are a bicyclist traveling with your bicycle, I'd avoid the United-Lufthansa duo."

Once we landed in Monrovia, it took about 35mins for them to let us off the plane because the doors were not working and opening up. Once we finally got off the plane, it took a whole 2 hours for them to get our baggage e off the plane because spmething was wrong and they couldnot access the baggage to take it off. I am aware that planes can “fly with one engine”, but flying a plane with one engine along with it having electrical problems is not safe and A RISK! why take that risk of something bad happening, not only would lives of innocent people and their crew get lost, but that is a million dollar assest that could get lost and a PR nightmare. It is a shame they took that risk. They also dodnt tell us until we landed. Had I known before we took off at Freetown I would have gladly fot off and found another mode of transportation to get to my final destination. SN Brussels is know to send their sh*tty planes to Africa, because there are always problems with the planes heading to that continent. It is just another obvious proof of their racism."

Positiv: "The crew was on point, the comfort was great though the plane was a bit cold they had plenty of blankets. The organization of finally getting onto the plane was great."
Negativ: "The boarding process was confusing and disorganized. Perhaps it's always this way but they began boarding rows 32-47, but never changed the monitor when boarding of additional rows began. I didn't understand the need for extra security prior to arriving at the gate either. I was already in the terminal, but then needed an additional sticker on my passport. Not enough options in the entertainment section."

Negativ: "I'll begin with the order of sequence of all that went wrong: 1. A huge queu while we were waiting for checkin in Rome (waited for more than 30 minutes) 2. The steward didn't agree to take a gymnastics hoop to the aircraft, despite its being super light. By the way, the inbound flight the hoop was taken into the aircraft; 3. We (family of 3) were seated separately, what made a huge stress to our small daughter. 4. There were no AC socket in Brussels airport (there were, but not charging) during transfer. 5. Our baggage was not delivered, which is very unpleasant :("
Negativ: "The flight left 30 minutes after it was scheduled to leave. In addition, when we landed, they weren't prepared for us. We had to wait for the stairs and shuttle to arrive to get us to the airport terminal. It was especially frustrating because we had nearly no time to get to our connecting flight. The hosts and hostesses were mediocre at best."
Positiv: "They were responsive. They had lots of gate agents. You had to initiate the conversation though."
Negativ: "The flight was delayed 4.5 hrs. The check-in process was not smooth. After additional security screening at the gate everyone was left on the jetway until everyone had their tickets scanned. They were late loading cargo and food."

Negativ: "I tried for numerous days before the flight to buy a piece of baggage online and I kept getting tossed back and forth between Expedia and Brussels Airlines. In the end, I wasn't able to purchase it ahead of time and we had to pay $49 at the airport. I feel entitled to a reimbursement of the difference between the booking online price of $15 and the $49 I paid."

Negativ: "We weren't allowed access to fill empty water bottles before boarding the plan. The plane made a stop at Kigali, Rwanda, where it was cleaned, resupplied and picked up passengers. It was almost 4 hrs. before we were offered water to drink. Drinking water is vital for maintaining health while travelling."
Negativ: "Never flew it; had to transfer to Lufthansa flights."
Positiv: "Second time I called customer support a A nice lady named Elisia was super friendly and helpful and was able to switch me to another flight on the same day."
Negativ: "Received a text message that my flight back to the US was canceled. The first time I called Brussels Airlines customer service, I was offered only the same flight one or two days later. Phone support person was very unfriendly and unwilling to look at other options like booking me on another flight that same day."
Negativ: "No one could lean their seats back throughout the entire flight. Also, the food was horrible. NO TASTE. Lastly, there were too many announcements throughout the entire flight making it difficult to rest."

Positiv: "The crew was NOT amazing, everyone had to walked back to the cabin to ask for water because not a single staff person would go check on us when we pushed the help button. I my self pushed it because I needed water to take my medicine and they ignored me until I walked my self to the back of the plane and asked for some water. Everyone was back there laughing having a good time while many of us were calling them over for help and they didn’t care."

Negativ: "Boarding in Casa Blanca was incredibly disorganized and lengthy, with no communication from airline staff to help alleviate the chaos. We left one hour late. When we arrived at JFK we spent 1.5 hours on the tarmac waiting for a gate. There was no communication from airline staff explaining the delay or any attempt to minimize our discomfort- (provide water for example). Once we disembarked, we waited more than 2 hours for our luggage. After an hour, an airline staff explained the delay and then disappeared. She was remarkably defensive and unsympathetic. I understand that weather conditions u in NY contributed to some of this, but the lack of communication by airline staff was unconscionable. Also the food was terrible."

It was absolute chaos trying to get the second boarding pass. Waited in line for about two hours. Some people missed their flights while doing so. On the plane, the seat selection I had made online at booking was not honored."

Negativ: "Casablanca airport is utterly chaotic in terms of security lines, boarding and then getting on the plane in full sun with crowds pushing to get in."

Negativ: "They say they provide people with a lounge (salon) to rest in while in transit but the place has no clean toilets, and not Bligh seats to relax and be comfortable. The planes have no entertainment and I feel as though I was targeted and asked to move my seat 3 times before take off! Will not be flying Air Maroc anytime soon."

Negativ: "The crew member assigned to the aisle I was in, was so careless that he bumped on me 90% of the times he passed and never excused one single time! The worst: when leaving the plane, I forgot my iPad in the pouch of the chair in front of me. 20 minutes later when I realized it, although I contacted the counter immediately they said that they could not find it and that they could not do anything to help me!"

Negativ: "Upon Boarding the plane, I was looking for somewhere to store my large backpack in an overhead bin, and instead of assisting or just waiting their turn, the crew is squeezing past me, forcing me to shove my bag into someone's face as I move to the side. This happened twice as I was headed to my seat. No "excuse me", "pardon" or nothing. Barely any English was spoken and I was yelled at to remove my headphones for landing when my music wasn't even playing, (although on any other flight, a device in airplane mode is not a problem). During the flight, the crew was extremely chatty and loud in the back of the cabin disturbing conversations I was trying to have with the person next to me. "Entertainment" was a kids tv show when I doubt that kids can even see the screen. No sound."
