Finally they grudgingly gave me only cream, rendering my coffee undrinkable. .....And the list goes on. Never ever will I travel on this horrid airline again!"

Eventually, when I pointed out that I could wear enough of the clothes from the carry on, they agreed to let me take it on. On board, the service was cold, bland and infrequent. The entertainment system lost sound perhaps 20 minutes into the flight."

We had to wait for all luggage to come out, then go to lost and found, what is more puzzling is that then they tell you the luggage will be loaded on next flight, arrive at night, but will not deliver it until after 3PM on next day. This is flying business class. Swiss begins to feel like a low cost"

As my wife and I are both retired flight attendants with TWA and American, we tend to notice customer service at all levels of an airline’s operation. Both our flight out of LHR to GVA and our return were smooth as can be. Nice job, Swiss!"

Platz fürs Handgepäck gab es genug, da grössere Handgepäckstücke kostenfrei abgegeben werden konnten. Beim Einstieg bekamen wir auch gleich ein Tütchen Chips in die Hand gedrückt. Getränke wurden später auch noch gereicht."

Instead of looking up policy, we were denied boarding mid-flight, missed a wedding, and had to spend three days in London instead of our destination. Also, we got bug bites during the flight that turned out to be from bed bugs, which followed us home and caused much frustration for months."

Also, when we were getting our boarding pass in LAX it was so confusing when it asked for checked bags. Our bags were already on a belt going to who knows where - were we supposed to check "yes"? If we had a boarding pass this would not have been an issue."

When we got to the airport it cost us $130 each to check our bag which we were told it would have been around $50 if we had done it online ahead of time (if we knew). $130 per bag is excessive for checked luggage and we were extremely frustrated and disappointed. I like to fly Virgin when I can due to comfort but that experience left much to be desired."

In Istanbul, I was not allowed to board on the flight to Tel-Aviv. I was not allowed to stay in Istanbul. Crew (Erin Uler) who stopped me from boarding the flight said he would help, but disappeared. Othes kept sending me back and forth between transfer desk and sales desk with inconsistent advice every time. I had no way out, so decided I will fly to the closest European country. This was after I had been back and forth for 7 hours. I had to pay full for flight to Greece. I asked to be sent back to D.C. they could not even work that out. I have a return ticket to fly back to Washington D.C. with Turkish Airline on 1 Jan and they said they will need to re-ticket my paid return flight as well. Turkish airline crew did not would not help me fix my return flight back to D.C. They have asked me to contact the agent ( Kayak). Now I am stuck in Athens, a country I have never visited nor planned to. My tours & accommodation, all paid for in Israel, I have lost. I had a tour fully paid in Israel. I have no ticket to return back to D.C. even though I paid for ticket with cancellation insurance when I bought the ticket. The advice between Turkish crew who checked my passport (official) while I was flying out of D.C. vs the Turkish crew who stopped me from boarding was inconsistent. If I had been stopped in D.C. I wouldn't have had to face the events that followed. Now I have lost my tours, hotel in Israel. I had to pay extra for flight to Athens and I am paying for hotel and sundry in Athens while waiting for flight out. Turkish crew at Istanbul were not only unhelpful but rude and inconsistent. While I was waiting for 8 hours for a firm information, shouting matches between Turkish crew and customers went on at least a dozen times. Inconsistent information from Turkish staff has led me to be currently stuck in Athens. I am waiting for a way back to D.C. There should be a rule that fines an airline if they board people without accurate visa papers and they fail to check it. There should also be a fine to the airline if they stop people from boarding at a transit airport leaving passanger stranded with nowhere to go or return. I ask this issue to be looked at, as I am currently stuck in Athens. I need a ticket to go back to D.C."

Beide Maschinen veraltet, Unterhaltungstechnik von Entebbe funktioniert gar nicht, kein Bemühen der Besatzung, auch Bordtechnik im Airbus nach Stuttgart völlig veraltet! Keine Weiterempfehlung!"

Negativ: "Your incompetent agents messed up my reservation multiple times. They called my home and emailed asking for a payment, even though my client bought the ticket for me. Then, when I was checking in I realized my name was wrong even though my client has a document that proves she typed the right name. Finally, and AGAIN KAYAK, I arrive at the airport and Turkish Air says the ticket is booked but not ticked. So I had to jump on a 30min wait over the phone trying to solve issue after issue. Never doing business again with Kayak."

Negativ: "ENGE SITZE, Unterhaltungs-Angebot an meinem Sitz relativ instabil (stürzte zweimal ab), außerdem keine Fluginfos zu sehen, da Bildschirm zu schmal... Zwei Ausstiegs-Treppen wären hilfreich gewesen, saß ganz hinten. Boarding könnte schneller gehen, wenn man die Sitzreihen aufteilen würde nach Reihen."

Negativ: "The flight arrived with delay in Istanbul. The connecting flight was delayed as well. Hopefully I won’t experience that on the way back. One of the passengers said that flights are always delayed when arriving to Istanbul waiting for gates."

Negativ: "The guy that checked me in was very rude and wasn’t smiling at all and then he showed my passport picture to his colleague and they both started laughing. I was trying to use the restroom on the plane but there was a person in there for a long time; I waited outside patiently and then when I got in I brushed my teeth and used the toilet. It didn’t take me that long but the flight attendant knocked hard on the door but she didn’t do that for me with the other guy. I didn’t feel welcomed at all from the crew honestly."

The passenger had a relapse a few hours later - again no acknowledgement from the crew to reassure those of us who could hear his cries of distress."

Leider gab es in der Eco nur ein Glas Wasser, was diesmal aber nicht kundgetan wurde (oder ich habe geschlafen und hab das nicht gehört). Danach war aber auch keine Motivation mehr vorhanden die ausgegeben Plastikbecher anzusammeln. Man sollte die einfach im Netz des Vordersitzes reinstecken. Naja ...."

Wir konnten den buchstäblich erstklassigen Service also länger nutzen. Die Flugbegleiterinnen hatten in der Ausnahmesituation alle Hände voll zu tun. Wir haben uns trotzdem bestens betreut gefühlt."

Positiv: "Service on the DFW-->FRA leg was phenomenal (ratio of attendants to fliers). Food was delicious and seats very comfortable."
Negativ: "Boarding process and organization could have been a bit better in communicating access and groups. Not super critical, but the goal in in process is to be as efficient as possible."

Positiv: "Lufthansa is a friendly airline but was unable to help with our problem because I had booked through Kayak."
Negativ: "When I presented my passport at the counter to receive my boarding pass, I was told my passport needed to be over 3 months before expiration. It expires January 14, 2019. It is not written on the passport, nor mentioned during booking. I’ve been to Latvia four times previously and never heard this requirement. I cancelled the flight with Lufthansa who said I must call Kayak who gave me another number to call and that number then sent an email that said there was a $350 rebooking fee for each ticket, IF they decided I was eligible for rebooking. Yes, we got a great rate, but looks like wasted $ now. I will book directly with the airline in the future to ensure the ability to rebook."

Negativ: "Flieger startete zu spät und kam mit noch mehr Verspätung in Frankfurt an. dort wurde keine Treppe ans Flugzeug geschoben. Dann mussten alle in den Bus steigen. Viele versäumte Anschlussflüge, Menscheb sehr unglücklich. System Versagen von Lufthansa und Fraport zusammen"

Negativ: "Eine der Flugbegleiter war nicht so gut gelaunt"

Positiv: "Nachdem der Personalveranwortliche an Bord die Überforderung der einen Flugbegleitung festgestellt hat, ist er sofort mit eingesprungen und es wurde alles besser, schneller, freundlicher und entspannter erledigt."
Negativ: "Im Gegensatz zu meinen bisherigen Flügen mit der Lufthansa in der Business Class war diesmal eine Flugbegleitung für 12 Passagiere alleine zuständig, was bei zwei Kleinkindern und einem "anspruchsvollen" Passagier bereits zu einer ansatzweisen Überforderung geführt hat (Essen und Getränke wurden äußerst zeitverzögert gebracht, Schwimmweste und Anschnallgurt für Kleinkind wurde in zwei Gängen gebracht und der Gurt erst kurz vor der Startbahn der Mutter übergeben. Eine Whiskey Sorte war nur für ein Glas vorhanden und war bei einem rund neunstündigen Flug binnen 15 Minuten vergeben. Äußerst ärgerlich, wenn die gebotenen Alternativen keine sind."

Negativ: "I get Emergency to be sick and be in hospital and the request company for exchange my fly back from Slovakia back to my country USA and they declined my refund or exchange tickets even if I have doctors statement being in the hospital they’re rude and mean and decline make any changes for me"

Positiv: "Toller Service, gute Käseschnitte mit Warsteiner. Was will man mehr?"

Positiv: "Es erübrigt sich jeder Kommentar"

Negativ: "So there was a 2 hours delay in Dallas which resulted in 11 hours delay in Frankfurt .. this trip was horrible how did they dare do that to the passengers.. they should have gotten us a place to rest but we were left on the chairs in the airport.. will never fly Lufthansa anymore"

Positiv: "We left DFW in extremely hot weather. The ground crew managed the boarding to keep everyone out of the hot tunnel entry as long as possible. Even through there was a delay in boarding already, the crew kept us well informed. The cabin crew was very pleasant and accommodating. Smooth flight and still made it to our connecting flight on time."
Negativ: "Leg room in coach is really cramped but that is all airlines unfortunately."

Positiv: "We upgraded to economy premium which was fantastic. With the exception of seats that lie down all the way, you feel like you are in business class."

Positiv: "Verpflegung am Board war gut und Personal sehr freundlich gewesen. Sehr schnelle und kompetente Abwicklung beim Boarding."
Negativ: "Die Verspätung ist natürlich immer nicht gut, aber für uns war dies kein Problem gewesen. In 99 Prozent kann auch die Crew sehr wenig dafür."

Positiv: "The flight crew was amazing and the overall experience was great."

Negativ: "comfort was awful. seats in the cattle section are awfully uncomfortable and space is at premium. food was bad. the cleanliness of the bathrooms leaves a lot to the desire. the Frankfurt airport is just plain awful. overall, I would not recommend Lufthansa, it was just that I did not have a choice."

Positiv: "Everything. Lufthansa is still the best."
