Excellent stay for Luxembourg city.

Very informative and welcoming staff at reception. Quiet room and excellent location for the city centre.

The view from the bar is one of my favourite views of Luxembourg city. However, the staff could be more attentive.

Staff and check-in were easy and did not require a bunch of form filling and other needs.

Staff needs to ensure when two people are checking-in the room is set for two persons. Found only one set of towels and toiletries the next morning. $18 cost of Mojito on 8th floor bar was excessive, particularly as I'm a Platinum Accor member.

The bed was excellent and the atmosphere was fantastic. Very quiet! Very close to downtown shopping and sightseeing!

The breakfast was excellent , with a good choice of fresh fruits, cold meat, smoked salmon and fruit jiuces. The restaurant and bar decor is modern and elegant and gives a good view of the city and the staff are very helpful.

The Hotel is really high standard.The room with a view on the Petrusse valley was very nice, comfortable, the size was very good and the rooms are bigger than usual in any Hotel. All in one it's a very clean Hotel!

The roof Bar has an incredible view over the city, although the drinks are very expensive. Exagerated for a Hotel bar.

The friendliness concierge we have ever encountered on our journeys. He suggested two fabulous restaurants for our two evenings in town. He also suggested a scenic walking route of Luxembourg during the day. Great mini break!

The beds were very comfortable. Room was perfect for our needs. The bar and restaurant on the 8th floor were both lovey and offered great views of Luxembourg.

Location was perfect and the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. A haven after a horrendous journey out. The concierge, Emmanuel, was extraordinarily helpful in liaising with Luxair over undelivered luggage.

Very little. Breakfast was busy on Saturday morning, which meant there were seating issues but all resolved very quickly and with considerable charm.

Location could have been better, a good 15-20 min walk to main sights. The towels weren't replaced properly, we had to share one for a night, but that's all!

Unbelievable views and fabulous location to explore the city lovely modern hotel. Restaurant and bar on eighth floor very comfortable to relax in.

Nice work out room , liked the complementary mini bar, nice clean hotel, appreciated the guest services manager talking to usafter the first night, but it went for nothing as there were issues the next night

Had trouble with dinner reservation two nights. First night they didn't accommodate us at all and second night they did but the concierge didnt make the reservation as promised so was a bit of a delay.

I booked superior double room here because it was my first time in Luxembourg and room description says 'This room has a view of the Petrusse Valley.' At check-in very polite receptionist 'upgraded' me with Prestige suite #109 saying 'enjoy the nice view over the city'. Suite was nice but the view from all windows was only on active construction spot and huge construction waste containers right next to the windows. Very disappointing! I wonder why he did this knowingly?..

What a bed! I mean, seriously, does it get any better? Apart from that, hotel location is super convenient, close enough to walk to city center, but also avoiding the crazy traffic on the bridge that crosses there.

The breakfast options weren’t great and very expensive. There was also limited flexibility for my dairy intolerance which was a shame as the view from the restaurant was lovely.

The staff were extremely friendly and professional. By far one of the best staff I’ve ever encountered with. The rooms were amazing and comfy. The view was impressive. The breakfast was so delicious.

All of the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. From the lady at the reception, up to the waiters in the restaurant at the top of the hotel. Food was amazing, from the breakfast, up to the dinner. My boyfriend was amazed with basboussa cake for desert, and also the dinner recommendation for food by waiter Hamit was perfect. Big thanks to all for making our stay great!

The beds were very comfy and the waterfall shower wonderful. The breakfast choice was excellent and dinner in the restaurant more than exceeded our expectations. We had our two doggies with us and were made more than welcome with our pets.

Although the hotel is very comfortable, unfortunately there are a few rooms at the back of the hotel on the second floor and above the service entrances which are hugely impacted by the activity in the loading bays below. My stay was interrupted by the noise of the doors opening and closing, and the use of the machinery below, bins being wheeled out, trucks unloading. I was kept awake from about 4am onwards, and trying to concentrate whilst I was working in the hotel room was difficult because of the noise and the vibrations in the room.

The restaurant was very nice and our server was great, however we had lunch in the restaurant for lunch and the food was not very good. It was very bland with no flavor and very small portions especially for the price. That would be the only complaint.

There are 2 Sofitel hotels in town. Don't confuse this with the one in the business district. It happened to us, the taxi driver took us there.
