Relaxing and idyllic

The location in Oia is perfect, so many bars and restaurants to choose from. Also lots of perfect photo opportunities. The view from the hotel is like from a postcard. Staff are friendly and very helpful. The pool area is fantastic, in the sun all day.

Lots of steps but this is unavoidable in Santorini.

Breathtaking location in Oja, hotel...

The hotel is in an incredible location, with breathtaking views of the island ans the sea. The style is very pleasant, simple and white with plants and two small swimming pools overlooking the Caldera, the sea and the beautiful Oja.

The room was not clean, the sheets were old and worn down, the bathroom was tiny, the showerhead was broken and there was no hot water to shower. Some of the furniture in the room was very ruined and old. Overall the feeling is that the hotel is not kept very well and not very clean.

Excellent location, but a bit...

If you want excellent location (it’s literally in the main part of Oia) and stunning views then this is your hotel. We were lucky to have a terrace in front of our room with private sun beds which meant we didn’t have to struggle for one of the 6 sun beds around the small pool area. The terrace was beautiful and looked out over the sea and views of Oia’s sloping cliff buildings. The pool was a nice temperature but on the small side. Aircon worked well and bed was very comfortable. Nice to provide a small fridge in room too so we bought water and yogurts etc from the supermarket to have on the terrace. I’d probably be happy to stay again for a night or two but not longer than that. The staff were kind and helped us get our bags up and down the steps.

- really steep sloping and long steps down to the hotel rooms which in the heat can be quite a struggling both up and down! Definitely not good for anyone with mobility issues. - for the amount you pay the room and ‘hotel’ facilities were really quite underwhelming. The room was quite small and the bathroom was terrible —- my boyfriend (sub 6foot!) couldn’t stand up properly under the shower and there was no shower enclosure or curtain so the whole room gets soaked. Considering the toilet is immediately next to the shower it’s quite gross, and the toilet is always soaked and you always have to move the toilet roll. - the hotel had taken the decision to not offer breakfast during covid which is fine but they could have told us before we got there/ booked... - it’s expensive for what you get. Aside from two (tiny) pools on the terrace there’s nothing else there, not even an outdoors toilet. Very few sun beds so unless you’re quick (which we had to be on our last day!) it’s difficult to just spend a day by the pool. - check out is 11am which is fine, but given the lacking facilities if you have a later flight (ours was only at 5pm yet we still struggled!) then there’s not much the hotel can offer. The lady at reception was quite helpful but only really offered to provide a room for a couple of hours at the cost of Eur90... We decided to stay by the pool for a few hours given the heat and when we left our bags at reception and said this was the plan, the lady seemed slightly annoyed and said “we can let you stay until 2pm” which was very odd- not had a hotel care about that before... we had to try and get changed behind a wall due to lack of toilet. - WiFi was terrible (don’t bother trying to connect it’ll only drain battery)

Our room was very clean and tide, the service was excellent and the staff was so polite, they booked us some restaurants and a very nice catamaran Sunset trip. A breakfast tray was served every day in our room. Pure magic!

Room size was great - the bedroom was very comfortable. When the hot tub worked it was lovely. Location is excellent.

Staff didn’t really seem to care. Not the usual hospitality from resorts in Oia that charge similar prices. For the price I paid I expect more. Having to ask for more shower gel etc as none was replaced. No free water in room. When the hot tub stopped working we were told it would be fixed and it wasn’t. At no point did anyone tell us the water needs topping up. When I called reception just answered ‘yes’ for a 1700 euro stay. Not good enough.

The view from the room with a proven balcony was excellent, but I found the staff unsolicited, did not clean the room well on any of the days, shower without shower wetting the whole bathroom during the bath and the day of my return the porters scratched two of the bags And they nearly broke the grasses and brought them to the car through the cobblestone streets.

1. We did like the location, it is very convenient. 2. The view from the small balcony was very nice. 3. There was a pack of stray cats roaming around, they were friendly.

1. One of our small paper bag went missing during the check in process, we only realized that one day later, after asking the reception guy if they have seen it, his reply was: -no maybe you left it in the taxi or in your previous hotel-.. 1 hour later one of the staff shows up with our bag saying they found it, funny thing is the bag always had my name tag on it, meaning it was just matter to look up the guests list to find out who it belonged to. To make things worse after checking we realized one big chocolate bar that was inside the bag was gone. 2. Bed sheet had stains. 3. Some towels are new some others are old, some are white, some are yellow, some smell weird some others have stains. 4. The pillows have a humidity smell. 5. The toilet shower does not have a curtain or partition, all toilet gets wet when you take shower. 6. The bedroom ceiling just in top of the bed had stains. 7. Breakfast has room for improvement. 8. If you use the toilet before taking shower you will only get extremely hot water in the shower for quite a while. 9. Reception guy was helpful but he could have a better attitude. 10. It felt more like a 3 star bedroom than a 4 star bedroom. 11. Not good value for money.

The staff were SO helpful and polite! They booked our dinner reservations and were very accommodating. The location was perfect, very convenient!

I wish there were more sunbeds. We felt anxious about finding a spot to lay out by the pool because there are currently only 6 chairs. If you want to guarantee a spot, you need to wake up early!

There is lots of street cats in oia and the cats left an very unplesant smell by the balcony area and i wish that the balcony and the flowers by the balcony area could be washed daily to remove the smell of cat pee, if possible. Quite many steps from the the hotel to the main street and the rocks on the steps where little dangerous. Would love some more lightning in the bathroom. Some ants was in the room and in bathroom.

Not enough sun beds for everyone to use. There is a light that turns on automatically if the power goes out- which it did twice and one was at 3:30am! Our bedroom was lit up violently with a bright light which woke us just before our flights home the next day. We had to figure out a way to block the light and used our clothes. The power was out for a number of hours from then, hence the light remained on. It would be a good idea to place some sort of covering on this light so that when not needed it can be blocked off! I do understand there would be some OH&S reasons behind this light existing though.

The property was in a good location in the centre of Oia but far enough down the cliff that you didn’t hear the crowds from above, and had a good view.

The property is not as modern as the pictures online advertise. The accommodation is much older with parts that were broken or falling apart including the lamp, the toilet roll holder was loose, and decoration ropes were not hung up but off to the side ruining the decor of the place. The shower took a long time to drain, so it would fill up, causing you to only have short showers. The hot tub/spa couldn’t be turned off so we could hear it from our bedroom at night even with the balcony door and the bedroom door closed. The glass fence on our balcony was dirty as well. The mini bar fridge wasn’t working and was leaking water when we initially arrived, we told the staff about this and the broken lamp but nothing was done about it, however we managed to fix the fridge ourselves. The balcony doors didn’t have any door stoppers so would bang open and close from the wind.

The bathroom is small and humid. No shower curtain. It was not really clean ( we found card receipt of the previous occupants) and the cleaning staff left a towel and our garbage bag on the terrace.

There are a lot of steps down to the rooms, if you don’t like stairs, this place may be tricky for you. If you can handle a 2-3 flights of stairs, then there is nothing negative about this place!

Beautiful views. We stayed here years ago on a visit to Santorini and decided to come back. The pool area is beautiful and it is within great waking distance to watch the famous Sunset.

We were put in the cave room to start with and asked to change rooms as because it is a cave it gets very humid in there and I felt there was no room for the moisture to go. It felt wet and unpleasant in there and not very bright airey or clean. This room was not nice. When we moved rooms to one of the front rooms it was much better. Fresh air, clean and airy. Only downfall was the cave room.
