We stayed here as Santorini was one of the few destinations left that were not at this time on the quarantine list, to our fortune. We therefore benefited that Santorini and Oia were pretty quiet - the combination of being end of season and the effects on travel with the pandemic. Oia is at the top of the Island. We rented a scooter for few days and explored a bit. Oia for us was definitely the nicest place to stay- more refined than Thira. And La Perla location within Oia, it’s perfectly located near the start of the strip, so not overlooked as much as accommodation further in where more bars and restaurants reside. And perfect for sunsets. As this was to celebrate both our big 5-0’s, we stayed in the Deluxe suite, which is their best accommodation. It was faultless luxury. As the accommodation, like the majority in the area, is built onto the cliff side, there are a lot of steps as the apartment is the furthest down - tough on the the thighs - but the result is almost total privacy. We looked about and believe this has to be one of the best holiday apartments on the whole island, considering location, privacy, facilities and staff. Spotlessly clean. Beautifully laid out with a private pool, private hot tub, terrace with sunloungers (that are like beds) and table and chairs. Breakfast is served here. There is nothing like starting the day having breakfast looking at one of the best vistas in Europe. Inside there is a downstairs lounge with kitchenette and bathroom. Upstairs is the bedroom with double bed and another bathroom. The most amazing feature here is the panoramic window that is at the foot of the bed. Although the window had wooden blinds attached to black out the room for sleeping, we left them open as there are few opportunities in life to wake up and have such a view as the first thing you see... Some have moaned about the breakfast. Ridiculous not to have this in context.

amazing hotel with a wonderful staff. you have your choice of breakfast, and they deliver to your balcony every morning. the two ladies that ran the front desk were amazing! they took care of everything for us, from transportation to/from the airport/port, booking excursions, car rental, and restaurant reservations. the location is perfect, right on the main strip, easy walking distance to restaurants and shops.

we had a 2 story suite. the bedroom was downstairs, but the air conditioning unit was upstairs and wasn't powerful enough to cool the downstairs. not a huge problem for us, since it was october and a bit cooler, but if you like sleeping in a cooler room, I'd suggest making sure you book a 1-level room.

Absolute stunning views which we will definitely miss. Everything is very private and if wanted you can be on your own. Thus, perfectly for a honeymoon or general getaway. I recommend to invest into a room with a private jacuzzi, makes the experience even more special. The staff is overly friendly and caring, making us feel home. The place is perfectly located close to everything (restaurant, bars, etc.) within walking distance. We were lucky to stay there during off-season and thanks to COVID-19 everything was much quieter than during high season.

There are lots of stairs to climb which requires an above fitness level. For those not feeling comfortable with it, should be aware. :)

Getaway to remember

Can’t recommend this place enough. Amazing suites, incredible views, great location and the best staff. We were delayed for over a day flying out and when we got there they had upgraded us to a deluxe suite. The place really was amazing and meant we had an incredible holiday in a rather peaceful Santorini.

There is nothing that could have been improved. Just be aware like most places in Oia, it’s down a few steps so be prepared for a bit of a work out.

felt that the breakfast could be better (more variety); our bed was on a mezzanine which isn't great for someone who wakes up in the middle of the night to go to the toilet

Absolutely Faultless Stay

Perfect location for exploring Oia on foot, absolutely sensational views across the caldera and everything was of the highest standard. The staff are fantastic, they made us feel so welcome and arranged all our outings and dinners for us which meant we could totally relax.

There are a lot of steps - this was not a problem for us but it wouldn’t be suitable for anyone who struggles with a lot of stairs.

The rooms are all amazing fit with a jazucci. The staff is the best they even gave us a gift at check out for my husbands birthday. The pool is so nice and the food there is just great! I would definitely come back to the same hotel no questions asked

The suites were great - looking into the ocean from the picturesque Oia, there really is no better place to stay in Santorini. The staff at the accomodation were unbelievable. The concierge 'Dimi and Helen' were fantastic. Not only did they help to organise transfers, wine tasting, boat trips, the best restaurants... They also helped me to organise my proposal to my fiancé. Absolutely fantastic in every way and I can't thank them enough. I would very highly recommend La Perla - it was just perfect.

Very special and unique experience

The hotel was very clean, chic & cool and a great place to relax. The staff was so friendly and nice and we felt really welcome. The room was nice, clean and bed was really good (we almost slept better than at home). The recommendations for restaurants and beach clubs were really good, it was a great overall experience. And the free private parking was cool as well. And finally, the Covid cleanliness was impressive, so we had no concerns and felt very safe.

Nothing really bad to mention, the staff was so nice and tried to make our stay as good as possible. It took us some days to find our right breakfast choice - could sometimes be a little more fresh. Anyways, the sweet breakfast was a good choice.

Most Wonderful Hotel in Oia

Stayed here in the beginning of August 2020 with my partner. First off, the location is exceptional—it’s right next to the beginning of the pedestrian zone in Oia, so there’s no need to drag your bags a long while. Secondly, the staff (shoutout to Dimi and Helena) were beyond wonderful. So kind and helpful, and provided superb concierge services (booking private island tours; group catamaran journey; wine tours; restaurant recommendations and reservations, etc.). The breakfast was lovely and you can choose from several things, which are then served to you on the balcony in your room (given Covid). The views of the caldera, sea, and sunset are fantastic. Thank you to all!!

Pretty much nothing! Due to Covid, you have to tell reception that you want your room cleaned, which is a bit cumbersome; we’d have preferred them to just clean it without us having to say. Also, you cannot consume outside food or drinks at the pool, not even water. They should have an exception for water.

Location was great, staff very friendly, exceptional view, which was a luck, because many location seem to have great view but is not always the case and we found it to be more secluded/intimate than most other places we passed by in Santorini.

The room we were in is designed to look like a cave which is a very classic look for rooms in area i believe. Set in the mountain side, the room (18) overlooks the caldera and you will see great views of the caldera seeing the towns of Imerovigli and Fira and Skaros rock to the left. To the right you will see the rest of Oia town and the view is stunning both in the evening for sunset and general views during the day. The hotel also has an infinity swimming pool so you can enjoy the stunning unobstructed views of the Caldera while in the pool. The room benefits from a Dolce Gusto coffee machine and a refrigerated room bar. Other facilities include a room safe, tv, bluetooth speakers, Ironing board and iron. The room we were in is open plan studio style so bedroom and bathroom are all in one. The room also had its own private jacuzzi. The staff were all courteous, friendly, knowledge, helpful and professional. Thanks to Dimitra, Cristina, Antoniou and George. They made our stay special. One thing i noticed that i loved about this hotel: you have total privacy from passers by which i noticed a lot of other hotels in Oia and in actual fact Fira , Imerovigli and Firostefani dont benefit from.

The staff was SUPER friendly, they really made us feel so welcome! Excellent customer service overall. Beautiful place, and breakfast served on the private balconies with amazing views was superb!

The jacuzzi was not really hot and had no option to control the water temperature and the pool is not heated. Beautiful view but can't see the sunset.

The staff were really friendly, great location, wonderful pool, lots of places to sit, breakfast on your terrace was amazing and lots of extras thrown in. The room was really spacious and bright and the bed was amazing - we don’t want to go back to our own! Perfect spot for couples.

Great location, easy access to everything!

WOW, WOW, WOW!! One of the BEST hotels we've ever had the pleasure of staying at. From the moment we met Alex, the driver, who picked us up in the private shuttle and deftly delivered us to the villa where we received the warmest and most genuine welcome from Dimi at the front desk, we knew our visit would be beyond special. The entire rest of the staff (Alex #2, the strong yet quiet porter; the friendly server at the pool bar who brought us breakfast and checked in on us both days around the pool - sorry for spacing on his name!, and the sweet thorough housekeepers) really melded together to provide excellent service and a seamless stay. So much so that it was hard to leave even though we were excited to island hop. La Perla may be tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Oia, but that's what makes it so fabulous - you don't feel the frenetic buzz from the throngs of tourists nor do you care much to leave once you arrive and discover the stunning views and sincere friendliness. Dimi was just the best and we truly hope to return someday!

The accommodations were gorgeous! The bed was extremely comfortable and plush. The decor was very tasteful and the views were unbeatable!! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, with a smile on their face during all interactions. La Perla is very quiet and the perfect location for rest and relaxation when you’re not out exploring gorgeous Santorini!! I can’t recommend La Perla enough!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely loved our stay here!!!

Delayed check-out.

This was my first time going to Santorini so I wanted to make sure I have a real Santorini experience. The room size was perfect and the view was exceptional. Staff were helpful as well. Paying a little more to have a hot tub in the balcony was a great decision. And options for complimentary breakfast was decent.

The property was lovely but the service is what sets this property apart.

No meal service for dinner is the only thing I can say against it. It isn’t a huge problem, there are many nice places nearby.

Would never get tired of that view. All the better when sitting in your private balcony hot tub! Professional and attentive staff provided a warm welcome and assisted in making restaurant reservations etc.

We drove here in a rental car - There's a one way loop in place and Google Nav will take you about 200 metres past the hotel car park (only found this out when we phoned on arrival, as instructed when I earlier inquired about parking, by email), with no way to safely reverse, meaning a 5k round trip to loop back around to the town! Having a link / google location for the car park in advance would have been helpful.

La Perla was an excellent choice to celebrate our anniversary! Ideal location in Oia, spotless, private, providing boutique-style luxurious comfort, with breathtaking Caldera view and an amazing infinity pool. Great hospitality with friendly and professional staff. Throughout our stay, they have been very accommodating and even helpful in making great recommendations of where else to go/what to see on the island. Overall, a serene and memorable experience!

There is nothing to not like about this hotel it’s amazing in every way. Dimitra went above and beyond for me and my wife such a lovely lady. The rooms are spectacular we didn’t leave the room all day ha! Everything is 10/10 all the staff are present and very hard working. We will defo be back :) hopefully sooner than later.

Extra Ordinary AEGEAN Sea View from private pool, and comfy hot water pool made our day. Amazing Deluxe room facilities with duplex room. Thrilled to be located on main street of Oia, which was next to most scenic and photographic spots. It beacmae very easy ro reach the spots and get nice photography, and visit the Sun set at then end of street and then come back walking with dinner on one of many restaurants on the way to Hotel.

This location is perfect. It’s just 100m east of the center of Oia and couldn’t be more perfect for access, convenience, and the view. The rooms, pools, and staff are excellent. It’s very private. Breakfast is to order and served daily in the room—delicious. You can find cheaper places, but not sacrificing location, amenities, or service. I highly recommend La Perla.

The weather was terrible but of course can't blame anyone for that. We used their laundry service- I don't suggest that.

Hotel staffs were so kind (that we could find beautiful dinner place). Location was also good. The hotel is at the start of Ioa, so we can start from the hotel to the blue dorms directly. The room was comfortable and silent, especially at 2nd floor, roof top room, served sweet sea view to us. We could spent our sweet time thanks to the room.

If I must say, the room has one dust box only though the room has 2nd roof top room. But it doesn’t matter so much.
