Hotel Maja is our perfect holiday destination in Pescara. This is our second time at this hotel and we intend to book for next year as well. The staff at Hotel Maja are are always helpful and smiling. The breakfasts are excellent and the bar is well stocked. Our room was perfect, with the most spectacular sea view from the balcony. The entire hotel is spotless and felt like ‘home’ for the 11 nights that we stayed. We totally recommend Hotel Maja to anyone who is looking for a wonderful, great value hotel in the beautiful Pescara !!!!

The room bed was very clean but basic furniture. I liked the fact there was a desk and a little patio - that was a bonus. Nice views. Great location for beach but noisy at night until 2-3 am because of clubs. Nice breakfast. Reception lady helpful & friendly. The man on booking in was a bit incompetent& could not find the booking for a while so that was a bit stressful on arriving.

The location couldn’t be better. Our room had a big balcony with sea view. You don’t need much more than that in such place as Pescara. The sound of sea put me to sleep each night. The hotel isn’t new and it shows but I found it to be quite charming. The room was always very clean and its size was perfect for two people. I have to say the staff of the hotel was super nice and helpful. Old style and classy service. I felt really at ease with every single person and it showed that they actually made an effort to meet my needs. Last but not least - breakfast was quite good compared to other Italian places we stayed at. Quite a few options and good cappuccino. All in all, great value for money.

We stopped for one night at low season on our way to the South. It was convenient, as there was easy access by car, parking space and walking distance from center. The decoration style is a bit oldish, but everything was clean and worked, including internet.

The breakfast was poor, with products that were not quite as fresh as one would want.

We arrived at the end of the season so most of the beach bars were closing and removing the umbrellas. The town behind the sea front seemed to have already closed for the winter which was a bit of a surprise. A note on booking.com to this effect (i.e. that the beaches shut down on 15th Sept) might be useful to other travellers.

The showers were very small and 15 minutes before we checked out their electricity went out and we had to carry our bags down three flights and pay in cash because no way to use credit cards with no power!

Our stay in Hotel Maja was terrific. - very clean room - made up every day (+ view from the room's balcony) - very close to private beach (just cross the street) - tasty breakfast - many different options to eat - kind and helpful staff - late check-out possible (after 2pm) with no extra fee Visiting Pescara next time we'll definitely stay in Hotel Maja.

No disadvantages found.

The personnel of the hotel was extremely nice and polite, willing to meet any need, any inquiry of the guest. I was very pleased with the way they treat all the guest. The breakfasts are rich with food for all types of preferences.

The rooms looking to the beach side are quite noisy (the auto-road and the bars with discoteques make a lot noise), but the Management of the Hotel gave me another room as soon as I asked about it. The hotel is actually something between 3 and 4 stars level, but the price was more than fair taking into account the location and that the beach chaiselong with umbrella are included to the price so I was satisfied and I would recommend it to my friends.
