Absolutely love it here this is my second time. A pretty village Within itself with a big swimming pool With a kids pool. Also an indoor pool. a bar and restaurant what more could you asked for. Room is a great neat and tidy TV air-conditioning in my lounge and bedroom. A five minute drive into Carvoeiro. As a getaway what more could you asked for

Property smelt musky on arrival, Lots of ants in the kitchen and bathroom. Pillows on beds were flat as pancakes, sofa bed was awful. Place could do with updating.

The staff were very friendly and accomodating. They went out of there way to help me and travel with my baby as easy as possible. The shuttle service is very good. The apartment is basic but what you would expect as a 3 star hotel resort. The cleanliness of the place is excellent. It is cleaned daily and fresh towels as needed. The pool is very refreshing, temperature wise! It is very clean and well maintained. Thank you Colina Resort

Carvoeiro was fantastic! Plenty going on, nice beach too, but a far cry from the likes of other places which have been invaded by Irish bars/steak houses etc. (I like them by the way, just not with family/young kids in tow!). The outdoor swimming pools and surrounding area were spacious and well-kept (plenty of sun loungers assuming you don't turn up midday... even then we did find a couple). There are plenty of families with children here too which was welcome. Some groups of younger folk but no daft behaviour/noise from them really (bar one plonker thinking he was in Ibiza dancing round poolside - bless him!). The apartment was MASSIVE!

The apartments were a strange mix of recently renovated (e.g. kitchen/bathroom) and old battered decor (living space/bedrooms/'balconies'). But, even the renovated areas were grubby/tired/worn. It feels like malfunctioning time-travel! Overall, the quality of the apartment was lacking, more akin to 2-star stays I think. Ants.... there were that many I'm sure I brought some home in my pants! Still, it was nice to brush one's teeth with much company! The oven didn't work well at all... we ended up grilling a pizza which is a first (I wouldn't recommend!) The indoor pool and the areas surrounding it (Changing rooms/toilets) were dirty. The location is so-so. Luckily we had a car, I wouldn't have liked to walk to Carvoeira, particularly with kids.

The AC in the main living area did not worked well at all. Our kids had to sleep in our bedroom. There was a bad smell, probably outside sewer, coming from the bathroom toilet area.

A/C did not work in three of the rooms. When we reported the issue to management, they kept saying that parts were broken and couldn't be fixed until the next day. We spent two days without A/C, and management refused to provide any fans. Even when we spoke with the manager, his response was that he's not working and would not address the problem until the next day. We canceled our booking and returned to Lisbon early. Also, the place is crawling with ants. Definitely do not recommend. Splurge and find better accommodations near the beach.

Nothing like the photos. Old apartments, really uncomfortable beds, did not feel clean, though the apartments were big, the space was not used well. Sofa was terrible. Not a comfy place but an OK setting and I guess good value for money.

Snagged a great last-minute deal for 5 people in an apartment and was pleasantly surprised. Check in was easy- the man at the desk was really friendly! The apartment was well equipped with everything you would need for a long term stay, even including a hand-held blender! The grounds were well kept and the gardens were beautiful. Would definitely go back and stay for longer!

We had breakfast at the on-grounds restaurant one day and were not impressed. Portugal has amazing coffee and juices, but both at the breakfast bar were from a machine and were pretty horrible. This was definitely unsatisfactory especially considering the price of the breakfast (I think it was 12 or 15€? Can't remember, but we had thought it was 10€...) and the fact that at any local coffee shop you can get really good coffee and a good breakfast for 3-4€. The tea selection was also poor and hot water for tea just not hot enough. I think with just a little more effort they could improve these things. The eggs and other foods were delicious, they had a small selection of mini-croissants and pastries, but the biggest disappointment was the price-quality factor. Hope they can fix this! I would recommend staying here without a doubt, but would recommend having breakfast at the apartment or going into town for a ham-and-cheese croissant and a coffee until they make some changes.

The colina village is very clean,spacious appartments. Tv had no signal so couldnt watch it. All fussy!! Had a free bus to take you into town. 10am.2pm5pm. Staff were lovely. Ate twice at restuarant... was poorly after both. I had lamb..wasnt the best.bit chewy. Wasnt expecting nice peice lamb to be served with wedges. Next time we ordered two pizza to take bk to room as it rained. Wasnt much filling on them. And sent us to toilet next morning!. Wifi isnt very good also. When you can get online..its very weak?. Spoke to a woman who had a family of 4. Whom went for breakfast. She says its not the best. She paid 10€ and she had toast and beans. As eggs were hard.

No breakfast, but the facilities were exceedingly luxurious. The kitchen was superbly equipped. Just bring food to prepare. The bathroom was excellent, lots of hot water and a couple of sinks. The place was spotless. The living room couldn`t have been more comfortable. All in all this place was quite underpriced for the amenities provided.

As stated, the facility was excellent, but it was at least a 40 minute walk to the center of Carvoeiro.

Facilities gone way down hill, no entertainment even though still says it does on holiday bookings, little shop gone, outside bar closed after a week, ran out of lunch food a few times in our 2 week stay, ran out of beer twice and coke and lemonade, New management not doing a great job, shame as its a lovely place, but we won't be going back :(

The beds were rock hard we had a three bedroom and could not sleep in two of the bedrooms downstairs as on bed was full of ants and the other one was so damp it made us wet five of us ended up sleeping on a sofa bed , not very clean and the dogs around there kepted my children awake till early hours , I also requested a later check out time and got confirmation for this to get a call saying it’s gone passed 11 please leave , very very old fashioned needs to b updated and for the money I spent for one night I would have had a better night sleep on there sun lounger even though half of them are broken

Very spacious rooms, maids came every day, pools were great (but cold even in July) air con made the accommodation comfortable and delicious coffee. Entertainment for the children- a couple even came around the pool with s snake!!!! Near enough to some really nice places (hire car is necessary) Minibus a lovely touch.

The trees outside our apartment has worm/maggot creatures coming out of the tree which meant we couldn’t sit outside while our baby was sleeping. Also when we left our clothes out to dry they would be covered. Staff weren’t the friendliest however efficient.
