Great hotel for a relaxing...

The room was spacious, clean with a great view (definitely recommend top floor). Most of the staff was professional and polite. We liked the pool and the roof top bar.

Food/drinks prices at the hotel could be too high (6 euros a bottle of water?) Service was sometimes not up to the standard of a 5-star hotel

Wonderful located hotel facing the...

Considering it was during Covid 19, staff did everything to make the hotel comfortable, safe and enjoyable. Absolutely loved the spacious room and balcony. It felt like an apartment. Bed was v comfy, with a lovely view facing ppl and cliff.

Felt some of the staff were a little too formal.

Nothing too severe, small issues like not having milk in the tea/coffee cabinet and having to ask, not having a bottle opener in the mini bar, tea/coffee sachets not replaced always. And same for the mini bar. But these are small nit picks.

Skybar personel! Bar is also open for non hotel residents. So skybar personel threats you as a stupid tourist and tries to get the money out of your pockets. For a nice table you are obliged to spend 100€. A bit silly for hotel residents!

Beautiful place to relax and...

Even though the hotel is quite old, it is very well maintained, the rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. The balconies are big and the view over the swimming pool, the garden and the beach is amazing. Even during Covid 2019 pandemia, they managed to offer a buffet for breakfast with a great variety of food. The fact that you can access the beach nearby so easily is great. The One restaurant has a great variety of food, and beautiful views and atmosphere. The staff here is very well prepared, always ready to give recommendations and very polite.

The swimming pool is quite small and has an old style. Both the Sky bar and the breakfast seemed to be understaffed. We wanted to have a drink before our dinner at the Sky bar, but after 20 minutes of waiting, nobody ever came to take our order, so we gave up. Also, during breakfast we waited very long for coffees and juice. Because we left very early in the morning we requested breakfast to go. This was very disappointing, as we received a sandwich which had very little filling and very thick slices of bread. One of the worse sandwich we ever had, which made no sense when thinking about the great choices they offered for the breakfast "in house".

The first room had a funny smell but we were allowed to change to a better one immediately. There is a beach but it's not really suitable for swimming.

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional and enjoyable. the whole place was comfortable and the pool fantastic. The food on the half board buffet was varied every evening and a good standard and the views from the pool, restaurants and rooms was spectaclular. we would definately return to this hotel.

Wifi was awful, it was impossible to do any type of work. The pool chair situation was a nightmare, some days you could reserve chairs with your stuff and others they would take your stuff and move it, just no organization at all regarding the rules. Also lacking staff around the pool but likely due to Covid.

Literally everything. Being there in the middle of Corona outbreak madness, the staff deserves the biggest mention of all. Amazing people who managed, despite all limitations and concerns to provide their guests with at least a little slice of normality and humanity. Hats off, highly recommended and everybody should tip these guys handsomely, they truly deserve it.

The view is fantastic, facing the ocean. The location is excellent, right next to the hiking trails. It is quiet but still walking distance to the town with lots of restaurants.

The location is a picture perfect - stunning!! We had a sea view room and the view from the room is a good as it gets anywhere in the world. The food at the One restaurant is excellent and great value compared with other inflated touristy restaurants we encountered in the Algarve. Breakfast is also great and worth adding to your booking. Free use of sauna and steam rooms was nice. Cliff walks and sunsets beautiful in the afternoons. Service by staff was friendly and professional. The room was always cleaned well and the free coffee, cinnamon sticks and night chocolates appreciated. Bed and pillows very comfortable. We were extremely happy with our 4 night stay. Loved it!!

No bath. I love a bath and almost didn’t book this property due to the room not having a bath. Shower was a bit small also. Very glad we stayed though, as other aspects made up for it. Indoor Spa was not warm and we did have to put up with some construction noise on the last few days. Had it not been for this, it would’ve been a perfect score.

Outdoor pool not heated and indoor pool also quite cold apart from weekend. Generally nice decor but corridors have dated carpets and are clinical. Would really benefit from some artwork/prints as there are lots of them

location is beautiful, stunning views & great walks from the hotel. The breakfast was really good great choice all very fresh,well presented & lovely staff.The rooms were big, plenty of room to hang clothes apart from bathroom see below. Bed was very comfortable & cleanliness was very good.

the indoor pool was difficult to get to because of renovation work but that will finish soon.The outdoor pool is lovely but plagued by very large seagulls who treat it as their private bath, not pleasant & lots of bird poo on the sunbeds. Other than that could do with some hooks in the bathroom to hang up robes etc.

Breakfast was exceptional with a wide selection of fruits, breads, meats, etc. They also had a Nespresso machine which I like.

We had a 3 night stay to enjoy Tivoli Carvoeiro and we were amazed with every aspect of the hotel. It was a true sample of excellent hospitality.

Everything. This is a large beautiful hotel on a quiet street with spectacular with views of the cliffs and sea from our room as well as restaurant and bar. We especially enjoyed the large comfortable sofas and chairs to relax in while having a drink at the bar and savouring the view. The Spa was outstanding and the large indoor pool was great as it was too cold to swim outside. The and the staff in every area of the hotel was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were amazed how they remembered our names.

Our room and terrace was directly below the reception area balcony, so we could see hear and see hotel guests looking down at us from above while we were on our terrace. Felt a bit invasive of our privacy but not a huge issue.

really good location and accessible to all the scenery spots we want to visit. our room has a very good view of the sea with beautiful balcony to relax. the staff are very friendly and accommodating.

We upgraded to an ocean view room-amazing!!! Sitting on the balcony overlooking the pool and view of the cliffs was incredible! This really is a true 5 star resort, and even better in the off season! No crowds! I even had the pool and spa to myself, quite wonderful! The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were helpful and kind. We went on the 7 Hanging Valleys hike which starts from the hotel, we will never forget the breathtaking views around every turn! Dinner was taken walking distance in the little local town, great food and locals atmosphere. We will return!

The food was fantastic from the wide and superb breakfast range to lunch and cocktails on the relaxing bar terrace with excellent views and finally to the Christmas events. Staff were very friendly and the rooms super comfortable. The coastal walk to and from the Hotel to Carvoeiro is stunning and a must do for those able to do it and a definite if you avail of the food and drink!

The indoor pool was a little on the small side and would be "cosy" if it had more than a few people but hey it was Christmas and not the hottest outside which didn't stop some adventurous people swimming in the main pool. That is not a complaint it is more an observation. Free drinking water supply in the room would have been an easy win.

Stayed here many times. Great Hotel and very convenient for Village life. Superb Buffet Breakfast and very comfortable room. Best view of the Ocean from here. Will be returning next year !

We enjoyed the good hospitality by the staff, the location was awesome and the value for money at this time of the year. We had a half board inclusive deal, the plated dinner was very good and the breakfast superb. Thank you to Management for our special touch for our anniversary it was really appreciated. All in all a great stay, we will be back.

I liked this stunning location so much I stayed for a second night. Service was impeccable, location is perfect, and the hotel itself is beautiful.

The hotel was immaculate clean. The room was spacious and comfortable with beautiful view. The public areas were very inviting. We really liked relaxing in the bar on the main floor. The view was spectacular. Hotel staff was very friendly and courteous. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices for both cold and hot dishes. The location of the hotel is perfect. It's a easy and very enjoyable 15 minutes walk along the coast to Carvoeiro which is one of the most beautiful small towns in Algarve. Another direction along the coast is the seven hanging valleys trail which is one of the most beautiful hiking trails in Algarve.

This hotel was amazing and I can't find a bad word to say ! The staff are so friendly and polite including house keeping. The hotel is clean and located right by the beach. The seaview room was worth every penny. The hotel has free parking and only a stones throw from the town. The bathroom was so big and spacious and every little thing had been thought of and provided. I'm hoping next time for an upgrade :) see you again SOON !

The only negative thing about this hotel I can say is the indoor pool area bit cold and not very luxurious looking. Pretty basic and the water bit cold. Warm Jacuzzi would be nice :)

For many years I have been staying at the hotel and have always allowed me keep the room too 2-3 pm on my last day , but not on this occasion. The hotel was not at capacity and was offered the swimming pool shower rooms. Floor is very dangerous when wet and no shower / cleaning items offered. Shame that such a lovely hotel and great experience was let down on my last day that left me thinking why they wouldn’t extend their offer as they have done previously.
