The hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff is really kind and the room was very clean, quite and comfortable. The location is also really convenient (walking distance from Stockholm Central Station) and there are several restaurants ans grocery stores around the building (including a Coop across the street). I hope to visit you again soon. Thanks!

The slot time for the breakfast is quite narrow, from 6:30 to 9:30... Since people on vacation are used to wake up around 9:00, I think the breakfast should be available from 7:00 to 11:00 at least.

Little impersonal feeling

How clean and classy it looked like and also the hotel staff was very lovely

The room was small but nicely furnished, the bathroom very clean and comfortable. Location is also good, the entrance to the hotel is right next to the metro station, just one stop away from the T-Centralen. The neighbourhood's also rather nice and you can easily walk to the old town, if the weather is fine. Breakfast was delightful with plenty of sweet and savoury choices and the staff was accommodating and pleasant to chat with.

The windows came out onto the street, so there was a bit of noise. We were fine with it but if you need complete silence, try to request a different room. The mattress was a tad too soft for my liking but it's mostly a matter of preference. Since I do like to have a cup of tea before going to bed, we really missed a kettle in the room. I found it odd that there was an ironing board which is not a general hotel staple but no kettle. Probably not an issue to most people, though.

Excellent service! Clean room, cosy bed, TV with the ability to connect a USB cable to connect a computer. Also forgot my glasses, and they sent them home to me after my visit. Lovely staff and breakfast was wonderful! The shampoo/conditioner/shower gel and body lotion were from Rituals, so it was nice to have that instead of standard boring hotel shampoo. 10-15 minute walk from the Central Station. Perfect.

That you couldn´t just add a room service fee to get the breakfast that was included in your price, yet you had to pay for the breakfast too, despite the fact that you already had paid from it. Luxury detail, but yet a little detail.

Clarion Hotel Amaranten is an exceptional hotel. We were able to check in early (12pm), the reception staff were helpful and friendly, and the location is fantastic - right next to the metro station or 25min walk to the CBD and Old Town. The room was spacious, comfortable and the bathroom was sparkling clean. The breakfast is in a huge space with lots of different options - we liked the pancakes best.

More vegetarian options at breakfast would be nice

Well located hotel (5min by walk to the central station) with a delicious breakfast with many gluten/lactose free options. The hotel also provides luxurious samples (soap, body lotion...).

The room was really tiny and located right upon the street, therefore the streets lamps and the noise were a little bit annoying. They should also think about removing the hotel flags with windy weather!

Breakfast was a bit chaotic due the high number eating at the time . but was not unexpected . Therefore a little surprised in the way the waiting eaters caused congesting around the lift lobby making it hard for people to go to reception or leave bldg.

The hotel was close to the city hall, reached in 5minutes, cross the street was situated Coop market-scandinavian food retailer, brakfast choice in hotel was perfect, the rooms were small but served well for the purpose of our trip. Check-in and checkout was through the automatic system very fast.Highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is right beside t-bane. There are shops and restaurants around and walking distance to central station. Waffle machine in breakfast is the best.

Breakfast is good but it can be better. Coffee is so bitter, if the bean can be changed it will be better.

The property is very modern, well furnished and everything is comfortable. They take great efforts to reduce waste of food and resources and are very eco friendly. The staff are very kind and helpful everyone speaks good English. It’s also close to many attractions (15 minute walk). The breakfast is very delicious and there’s a wide selection.

The hotel was very nice and stylish with amazing buffet breakfast. We really enjoyed our time and it is a nice walk to the center.

Reception staff when we were there could have been more genuine and friendly.... but it is Stockholm afterall ;)

The buffet breakfast is so worth it! Tons of options, they even have lactose free options and an allergy corner. Looked forward to breakfast every day - live omelette station and waffle machine and lots of bread and cereal options. Some people in the reviews complained about the chaos at breakfast but we didn't feel that way at all...there were staff who will lead you to tables and there's lots of space in the breakfast area so you will never have an issue finding a seat. The rooms were nicely furnished. Parts showed signs of wear but it was still very comfortable, showers were nice and hot. Toiletries provided (shampoo and shower gel) were good quality. Unfortunately they dont provide toothbrushes / toothpaste / slippers unless you occupy a more expensive room ): felt like that was quite calculative of them since it's just a small thing to throw in that will increase our comfort. Check in process was so easy and quick. They let us check in early so that was gr8. Gym was very nice though we didnt end up using it. Short 10-15 min walk to the Drottnigatan shopping area. There's a train station literally next to the hotel too which doesn't show up on google maps sometimes. About 15 min walk to the train station and bus station.

Fact that they didn't throw in free toiletries like toothpaste / toothbrush / slippers even when asked at the reception, said they were only available for guests who stayed in the more expensive rooms.

Very easy! Everything was just easy and what was not easy, was made easy by the staff. Very service minded, easy going, solution focused and pleasant. Excellent breakfast, super clean and cozy rooms with a bit of a luxurious feeling. Pet friendly. Which was a big plus for us! We loved it!

Staff was helpful and polite. - Very good WiFi speed and connectivity for a hotel. - Comfortable beds and good size of room, even for a small family like us. - Quality touches every here and there like the shampoo, shower gel etc in the rooms. - Next to a metro stop and a bus stop. - Super market and restaurants just opposite to the street. - Not noisy at all with the exception of the bar/restaurant room. - Big lobby, Shauna and a well equipped gym.

Not any big complaints. Maybe the rooms could be just a bit cleaner but it's only a minor complaint. Everything else was almost perfect.

Very nice rooms, comfortable bed, quiet place without noise from the outside. The location was excellent, not in the city centre, but in a walkable distance. The breakfast was good in terms of quantity and quality. We will definitely come back. :)

I think the breakfast was not well organised as, firstly the was a big queue to enter the area of the breakfast and secondly in the area of the breakfast, there were plates in 3-4 different spots, coffee in 2 different spots, bread you could take from 2 different places, there was food on the bar, on buffets around and also on an island-buffet. People did not know where to go and we were loosing so much time in trying to find what we wanted to eat. I think could be managed way better.

The hotel has an excellent location and very good access to public transportation, which is perfectly functioning in this city. Rooms are spacious and well designed. Beds are extremely comfortable. What I didn't like is that there was not enough space for breakfast. It was really overcrowded during breakfast time, though the breakfast was excellent.

Hotel location was in walking distance to the city center but still in a quiet neighborhood. The room had nice smooth wooden floors, which gave the room a warm atmosphere. The breakfast was great and although there were many people eating, the tables and seats were located in a comfortable distance.

A little hard to close/open the window curtains. It was difficult to turn the knob in the bathtub to drain the water.

We were travelling four friends together and we loved this hotel, Everything was perfect and we loved that we could stay all together in one room and it was plenty of space and two bathrooms
