Great hotel at a nice...

breakfast was really nice, also location with view over the harbour was very nice. The restaurant food was also really good. Beds were super comfortable. I liked that the room had a bathtub. Drinks selection at the bar was also very good.

I did not really like that I was sent a link to book a dinner in the restaurant which then was denied because apparently everything was fully booked. It would have been nice if the link had been updated and not allow the booking in the first place. I also did not like that one of the staff members told us we could order some of the food from the restaurant at the bar but then the bartender said they don't serve food but just snacks. Also it seemed that if you are able to communicate in Swedish you were favoured. Plus since the room had a bathtub it would have been nice to have some actual foam bath or similar instead of just shower gel from the dispenser.

The building itself is beautiful. Very nice view from the rooms facing the sea. Breakfast was good too.

The rooms can benefit from a little bit of a face lift. The room phone did not work when I tried calling the reception. TV is also a pretty old model. Otherwise I had everything I needed in the room.

Great hotel and great location

Very good breakfast, big buffet. Location was a bit out of town but there was a direct connection by boat to the city. Staff is friendly! Room is spacious. The look of the hotel inside and out is awesome!

We did find some empty peanut cans and peanuts on the floor in the room (not from us).

Disappointment with a lovely view

Breakfast was delicious (though the hotel should create a time slot schedule for guests like in other hotels to prevent the huge crowds lining up). The breakfast host was great and very professional. Room was clean, comfortable, great bath. Super fast elevator (it's noteworthy, I swear). Lovely location.

It felt like check in set the tone for the rest of the stay. No receptionist, waited 10-15 minutes, asked the bartender (who was right there) where they were or if he could contact them and he waved us off and told us to "just wait". Finally checked in, the receptionist seemed perfectly pleasant but gave us incorrect information about 1) breakfast times and 2) getting spa times. For the former he gave us a later end time so we showed up at the end of breakfast and had to rush through our meal. For the latter he told us we could call to book but there was no need to rush. The next day we called and they were solidly booked for our whole stay. It also took 45 minutes to get through to the spa. Also I know the parking price is stated, but honestly it's extortionate and should be included or greatly discounted. And as a final bad-ish thing there were 7 channels that didn't even always work. We booked this hotel expecting a relaxing luxury stay, but instead we just felt stressed out and kind of disappointed.

Very comfy beds and a good breakfast choice, friendly staff. Great location.

SPA access was full so we couldn't get in, and frankly overpriced anyways.

Staff at the Bar di not look up and said hello while I was in front of them at list 2 minuts...they were busy, but a professional should at list look at you a make you feel welcome. Unfortunately this is a typically Stockholm attitude. I was Alone at the Bar.. So they did notice me.

The staff is amazing , breakfast was delicious and lavish . The hotel and rooms are great too. Hotel s surrounding was nice

Quite far from thz center , don t recommend having a car really big struggle to go to town. They have parking though.

A room with a water view, the large selection of food at the breakfast buffet (my favorite was the waffle station-yummy but wished there was more selection of accompaniments to the waffle besides lingonberry), good wi-fi included in rate, parking next to property

Tight reception area, no easy access to parking through hotel (too many times codes to input), not enough directional signs leaving one puzzled. Wished there were a few more selections for dinner at the restaurant

The breakfast spread was great,a lot to choose from. Location is really beautiful especially if you gate a sea facing room. Easy access to central station by bus. Friendly and extremely helpful staff.

Even tough the price per night is pretty high you will be charged extra for pool usage.

Great location right at the water's edge. Close to the city centre (can be reached by boat within 15 minutes, or by bus within 10 minutes). The hotel is modern with a typical Nordic interior. The room was large and mostly clean (some dust here and there). The breakfast was extremely good.

The staff was not very friendly both during check-in and check-out. Very impersonal.

Beautiful position, easy to get ferry right outside the door. Lovely building. Very clean. Cleaners very polite and helpful. Bathroom very nice with lots of rituals products. Beds and pillows really comfortable. Had an amazing nights sleep! Breakfast was fantastic.

The first receptionist I met was not welcoming. I felt like I was an inconvenience. I booked a double room and was given a twin, twice. Problem wasn't resolved. 1 sachet of coffee and 2 tiny milks provided with no teaspoons! There were stairs up to the bathroom, not ideal for those who are a little unstable.

Breakfast top class! Location fabulous for those who had front rooms with a fantastic view of the Baltic Sea. BUT we didn't have that view.

Maybe a better briefing on the public transport system.

The spa was lovely, beautyful atmosphere and clean. Reception staff were very helpful and always smiling.

It was not dirty, but cleaning could be better. We never saw the maids, so we couldn't tell them. Kleenex ran out the first day and we never got a new box, even after we threw the empty box out. Every day the room looked different, the bed, the furniture and our towels were arranged differently, which is fine if everything is clean. The lamps and the tv was quite dusty, even in the dining room the lamps very very dusty.

Nice promenade by the hotel . Childrens playground is close by. Delicious breakfast and extended selection. Garage for a car. A big pool and SPA area for a separate price, but worth it.

Didn't like that in our luxury room there were only 2 small windows that didn't allow to see the city view. Ordered a pillow on reception, but didn't get it.

Very friendly and helpful Staff, nice dinner; fascinating having a jail transformed in hotel!

In the rooms there are no proper blinds and curtains are too light to make dark; in summer sun rises really early, and this is a problem for people (like myself) who need the bedroom to be real dark, to sleep well. Restaurant: food was nice and staff very kind but…. it took FOREVER to be served.

- The spa facilities (when they were open!) - Bed was very comfortable

- Lack of good customer service (could be welcoming and attentive) - Lack of variation on the restaurant menu and no bar menu/room service variation - Room facilities were basic (1 teabag for 2 guests, tv screen constantly flickered!) -Hairdryer overheated within 1minute of usage and kettle had to turned off once reached boiling point by pulling plug out of the socket

The hotel is not in a central location, but is reasonably well connected to the city via ferry or buses. The ferry ride is fun. I found the hotel staff very friendly and accommodating.

Using the gym and pool is for a fee, which is strange.

The room was too cold. Even with the heating at max it stayed at 16 degrees. WiFi in the room was poor. They advertised on the facilities available the SPA and the GYM. When I checked in I was told that that's run by a separate company and I have to pay extra every day to visit the SPA, Pool, and even the GYM!.

Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Great that it is located close to the Sturebadet.

For the check-in we had to wait 20 min for the room to be cleaned. The bed mattress were torn. The room was not very clean (as you expect from a 4 star hotel, we found garbage on the floor). (The rest might not target the hotel directly). Sturebadet showers were terribly dirty. The Turkish hammam was not working. The facility was very crowded and therefore was more stressful than relaxing. There were some people taking photos inside the pool which was really disturbing. It was our 4th time there and was a big downgrade compared to the past. More probably we do not consider it again.
