Awful experience

Great breakfast and spacious room with excellent bed, bathroom.

Extremely bad communication between the Sats staff at the pool and reception. Sats staff made us call them twice to find a time to swim and when we rushed down they said “too bad someone else came” and said we should go back to our room and call again in 10 min! (I was alone with TWO KIDS!) And you only got 30 min in the tacky and Poorly maintained pool anyways. There was a broken chair just lying there ... the only chair. Reception said they’d fix us a time the next day but they never did. When I asked about it the woman was very rude and refused to do so, but eventually looked in the computer system, saw what was promised and fixed it in two min. Then the TV was broken. They tried to troubleshoot over the phone and then a guy came up, and then he left and another guy came up. And then He left and came back with guy #1 and some cables. They took the tv off the wall and fixed it right in front of us. By this time 1,5 hours had gone. My kid was ashamed because she had to poop while they were there and I had a face mask on at the start. By the time they were done it was 21:40 and my kids should have been put to bed at 20:30. They ruined our night and never offered to change rooms. I suggested a room change and guy #2 looked at me like that would be a strange thing. When I complained the next day the woman In Reception had the nerve to disagree and told me that they very experienced man in reception didn’t “recognize “ my story. They gave us free breakfast and late checkout neither of which saved the day. I didn’t need a late checkout as my kids and I were out during the day enjoying Stockholm and basically came back to get our bags at 18:00. It was awful and I feel terrible because I ended up arguing with the staff a lot and my kids felt I was terrible and asked me not to argue anymore. But I’ve never been in a situation like this before where the staff either don’t know that they should give you a new room or want to argue with you about your experience.

Breakfast was good!

1. I was travelling with my car and had called up days before, to confirm if I could come up to the entrance of the hotel before check-in and I was told (clearly) that it was possible to do so. But when I actually drove up to the hotel, I discovered that the whole street was SHUTDOWN due to a major construction work. So I had to drive around the hotel until I could find a VERY EXPENSIVE PAID PARKING GARAGE nearby to park my car. This happened I guess, because everytime I called up the hotel reception, I was connected to an OFF-SHORE customer service personnel, who probably was situated in India, who doesn't have any clue as to the actual situation at the hotel itself. 2. I was told over the phone that the sauna was open (I called multiple times). But when I actually went to the Pool area, I was told, "Oh sorry the sauna is closed". 3. I booked this hotel specifically to spend time at the pool, jacuzzi (well, basically to relax). But upon check-in, I was informed that the pool and jacuzzi could only be accessed for 30 min at a time due to Covid!!! My question is, why wasn't this information given to me over the phone and I could have decided whether to go ahead with the booking or cancel and find alternative accomodation. 4. I was supposed to get a "premium room", but got a small room with broken wardrobe!!! Remember, we are talking about RADISSON BLU!!!!! Not a cheap 2 star or 1 star hotel. Upon complaining, I was moved to a different room with NO VIEW! 5. Wanted to watch Netflix on the TV, but could not connect to Chromecast. Later, we discovered that the Chromecast was missing from our room. Had to call reception and get it fixed. I could go on, but I am tired of the whole experience. This was supposed to be our first Valentine's weekend together! But it was a total disaster. Thanks a lot RADISSON BLU TEAM for SCREWING IT UP! ! !

Worst hotel in the entire...

Thers is no single redeeming feature. Pure hell.

Worst hotel in the world. The staff came to my room at 10pm keeping me awake. When I asked them to leave they became aggressive and violent. I have received no financial compensation for the harm they caused me and they not only refused to refund the room that I was not able to use because of the violence of those whose job is meant to look after customers but in addition they extorted even more money from me holding my lugagge hostage. I have uploaded a video of some of the aggressive criminal behaviour of the hotel staff. I will prepare more detailed accounts of the level of service provided by this establishment for youtube and one day hope to take these people to court. No-one should ever need to suffer the indignity of being disturbed, assaulted and attacked by a hospitality establishment. This is unacceptable in any circumstances and I plan to do my best to ensure justice is done.

Convenient stay for the family...

Receptionist unpleasant and uninviting until she finally figured out we had already booked a room and only had to check us in. Noisy fan in room 805 near bed. No proper door on the bathroom. Shower door a almost falling off the hinges. Room too small for a family room. Fridge not cold enough. Building works right outside of the hotel. Receptionist didn’t explain correct place to wait for the taxi so had to find a street taxi.

The location of the hotel is perfect! And also everything seems to be quite new! The breakfast was very good but not the best you’ll find. The best part was their Swedish pancakes. The inside access to the Espresso House is very handy also!

Lack of quality inspection on rooms. I received a room stated to have bathtub, 2 TVs and able to receive 4. But the room was with one of the door locks broken, a broken TV and missing 2 towels. The staff moved us to another room but it had only one tv and 2 beds were missing. We had to move again to another room but we had no bathtub and only one tv remote. We decided to live with that since it was a short stay and the remote was able to control both TVs. Although everything seems to be very new and modern (including electronics), don’t expect standards regarding room layout. It seems that every room has a different one. The only problem with that is that apparently the staff isn’t full aware of what is inside each room. Besides that, you should be aware that (as every hotel I stayed in Sweden) they don’t offer a floor towel to the bathroom (once you get used to it is fine).

We had a family room. Our daughters are 9 and 10 and of normal size . The bed assigned for them was barely wide enough to fit 1 person. For the price we paid I expected more.

Be careful. Everyone coming to this hotel.if you smoke from window and alarm ring ,you must pay a fine for250€ ,and they don't put any notice for foreign visitors that you are not allowed to smoke or you are going to pay a fine

It wasn’t worth the money

It had amazing facilities such as a gym, sauna, steam room and two bars.

My room had some done to the air conditioning and the filter had not been put back and also after I showered the water was overflowing onto the floor which I told hotel management who fixed the first issue but not the second one

Beds are not comfortable.

Bed was very hard. Pillows were uncomfortable. The shower was flooded, something was wrong with it. I asked for room with bath, didn't get it.

We had five issues with this booking. Firstly, the check-in desk was understaffed at check in time around 5 pm on Tuesday. They were operating with a brand new system so it is understandable that check-ins would take longer but in that case you would expect the check in desk to be fully staffed, which it was not. There was one man trying to operate the check in desk alone during this peak time. Then when we actually got to the front of the line, it took us about 20 minutes just to check in and pay because the staff member did not know how to to use the system in order for us to pay with a regular bank/debit card. It took multiple tries with my card before he discovered how to do this. If the system is this difficult to operate, a manager on duty should be available to assist with difficult situations. Then the busy desk clerk also had to help us collect our luggage from the luggage storage room while about 6 other families waited in line. Furthermore, the check in clerk tried to charge us 40% more on our booking than was agreed upon when we booked online ahead of time. I had to prove this by showing the online booking confirmation or order for him to honour the price we booked it at. If we had not noticed this mistake we would have been charged a considerable amount more. Next, the door to our room was damaged, it looked like a dog had gnawed on the bottom of it or something. Also, and most annoying of all, the forward facing shower head was broken and only the overhead shower head worked, so in order to shower, your head would get wet.

Bad information regarding facilities, trying to go to the pool area we were told the pool had a limited amount of people allowed (very understandable) but just bring clothes and come back and there are towels for you to use. Arriving 15 minutes later same person asks us if we are on the list (he never mentioned this) and then tells us we have to wait and hour or so... We booked for 2 adults and a 6 year old child but there were 2 pillows, 2 towels, 2 glasses, 2 cups.....

The location was great and the breakfast was excellent, with lots of choice. The bar was also good and the drinks reasonably priced.

We paid extra for a larger room and it was still small with a tiny bathroom you could barely turn round in. The room wasn’t cleaned every day. The pillows were very uncomfortable.

Disappointing

The room was nice and clean. Unfortunately I can´t say anything else positive.

The Front Desk was VERY slow, took ages to get checked in. Not a good start. I had to wait in front of the desk for 20 minutes for my room, and my partner had to wait 30 minutes in line for his room. Breakfast was a total disaster, food was out, dirty dishes and dirty tables every where. To few staff on the amount of guests.

The rooms are quite big, clean and comfortable. I could use an empty fridge, this was great! Nice hall / room for breakfast

Unfriendly Person at the reception. We couldn't find a parking space late at night in the city, it was not possible. All of the parking houses were closed. The lady on the reception was pretty unfriendly, not understanding, not helpful at all. And the worst for me personally: I have big medical issues about food. I asked bevor my stay twice with an e-mail about the ingredients from the food for breakfast. I didn't got an answer of my question. I honestly had to bring my OWN FOOD!?! This is so bad and just inaccetable for a 4-star-hotel!! We also didn't had a kettel in the room like it was promised to us. I know a lot of hotels, because I love to travel. But the service is just very bad. We won't come back.

Location to downtown is fantastic. This was the main draw when traveling with a kid. Size of room was good but layout wasn't great. Mixed bag with some of the staff but generally helpful. More sensitive travelers may be unhappy or upset with staff in terms of courteous language. Direct which is easy for me to get past and over. Breakfast buffet was actually quite good and was busy. Very close to Arlanda Express to airport. Just walk around hotel to it.

Staff not too friendly but direct. Loud construction noise in room from 10am until 430pm. Hotel is mid renovation. Calls to front desk was met with a cold... there nothing that I can do. There's always something you can do to make your guests less upset. Hotel should be upfront with information and knowledge about the construction. A business traveler who is out of the room during the day would be less upset than we would be. We weren't too upset because our child didn't wake up but if he did we may very well be as we are jet lagged and the child needed to sleep. But notice would have allowed some possibility of planning. You may get an older room from the 80s. Carpets were dirty and worn in our room. The room decor color scheme did not age well.
