The entertainment was good with a wide selection of movies and TV shows. The crew was incredibly nice and helpful and I had a really pleasant time talking with them. On the airport team side I can also say they were extremely helpful as I missed my flight and they promptly rebooked me on the next one 3h later, free of charge. I think the stress of missing a flight was completely deflected by the help of the Virgin Atlantic crew at the desk so thank you for that!"

This was my first time travel with Virgin Atlantic. I may never fly Virgin Atlantic again."

Also, when we were getting our boarding pass in LAX it was so confusing when it asked for checked bags. Our bags were already on a belt going to who knows where - were we supposed to check "yes"? If we had a boarding pass this would not have been an issue."

I am six feet tall, and was very uncomfortable all during the flight. I could not sit with my knees together. I had to spread my knees to sit comfortably. Holding that position for eleven hours was very uncomfortable. Anyone taller than me would have even more trouble. Also, every seat has a very large box underneath, I presume for the audio/video system. This is a terrible location. There is very little room to stow anything. But much worse, I couldn't straighten my right leg. All-in-all, I found the seat situation totally unacceptable. I will likely never fly Virgin Atlantic again because of this."

Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

So it's one thing that you have to cancel the flight because of fog; but rebooking us the next day on a flight through New York that doesn't exist, was way below the standard of care I would expect from any airline. Apparently, the NY to LAX flight that KLM booked us on, was only one leg of the flight to Sydney Australia; and according to some airline agreement, only Australian nationals are permitted to take that flight! Running around at JFK from terminal four, to terminal seven, to terminal eight, back to terminal four, to get a flight out, was a bit much considering how tired we were – not to mention hungry, since KLM neglected to provide the kosher meals we had requested with plenty of time – BOTH going to and returning from Europe."

(They offered an in-flight credit, but I'd paid for premium exit row seat and had to choose between moving to working system in crowded middle seat or keep premium, exit seat. I decided to have them move me to a seat with a working entertainment system, which were available and they'd offered, but never happened.) When I got home, I discovered the gift I purchased with in-flight credit and my own money wasn't the one I'd requested from Duty Free catalog so now I have to figure out how to solve this problem. (COULDN'T GET IT RIGHT.) Premium exit row seat was narrow, due to in-seat tray table & entertainment system, but seatbelt mounts and thinly padded seat made it even more uncomfortable on a long flight."

The two people at the desk didn't care when I noted this. We were called to the desk in advance of boarding to check passport information. When we got to the check in line, we were taken aside for more passport checking, even though we are US citizens with Trusted Traveler status in the GOES program. We were one of the first people at the departure lounge, and one of the the last to board."

Negativ: "The plane was so old, it's like they bought it at a junk yard. The seats were falling apart and were very uncomfortable. Entertainment system is the same age as a VCR. Food was so bad I actually threw up (first time for me ever; I can eat pretty much anything and no problems). Given other compatibility priced options, I won't fly AirFrance again."
Positiv: "Loved the entertainment. The movies and other options were great. The drinks were very repressing also."
Negativ: "I did not like the food. Also I do not eat meat so I was no given a non meat option I was just told to eat everything except the meat. I was also not a fan of the snacks in between. There was a spread some olives and then a spinach pie and they were cold and not appetizing. Next my luggage did not make it to ATL with me it stayed in Dublin and I ended up not getting it until 2 days later. Next the bathrooms became very dirty towards the end of the trip so it made it quite unpleasant to have to go to the restroom."

Negativ: "My husband & I were seated toward the back on the side. Our seats had several inches less leg room than the ones surrounding us (not sure why). This information was not made available when we booked our flight. My husband is 6'2" and his legs legitimately could not fit into his seat. He had to sit the entire flight with one leg in the aisle and the other tucked under the seat in front of me. It was only made worse when the kid in front of him fully reclined his seat. We would have chosen to not sit together rather than endure that had we been given the option. Also, the menu they distributed said they serve ice cream but we asked and then didn't have any. Don't get my hopes up!"
Negativ: "Flight was at 10:30pm. Waited at the gate from 9:00-10:40 with no news. Nobody knew what was going on or what we were waiting for. Finally at 10:40 they announced that the flight would be delayed, even though we had figured it out by then. At 11 the flight crew showed up. We finally boarded at 11:30 and we arrived an hour late to our destination. They offered drinks to the 2 people flying "business class" (they were just sitting in the front but amongst the economy class seats) at the very beginning, but then waited to serve everyone else, but as it was late, most people were already sleeping. We arrived an hour late."
Positiv: "The in-flight meal was very good. The flight was much quicker then I expected, but there a lot of turbulence for much of the flight. Most of the flight attendants were very nice."
Negativ: "We were put in the last row of seats, which don't recline, though the row in front of you reclines into you and you are trapped. One of the flight attendants was rude when we were trying to deal with our child who had vomited. CDG (Charles DeGaulle airport) is poorly laid out and poorly run, in my opinion, starting with the landing of our flight. After waiting over a half an hour after landing to de-board, we were given much information In trying to get to the proper places to check certain baggage items, and we walked up and down and around a whole terminal trying to get to the proper gait. This is not the first time I've had a bad experience at this airport. Thankfully, the flight itself after that horrendous experience was good."

Positiv: "Flew Flight 76 from CDG to LAX business 1G. Seats were ok. 2-3-2 configuration. This plan has not received the upgrades the CDG to JFK leg has. Food options were ok, the food itself was garbage. In flight entertainment was pathetic. Cabin crew was not great either. All in all, wouldn't recommend Air France to a friend or family. Too many other good options out there."

Negativ: "2 meals only !!!!! on a 11h flight from CDG-LAX. Who on earth thinks it's ok to eat 1h after take off and 1h before leaving a 9h break between meals. It's cheap but not healthy. In the feedback form there was a question about a la carte meal but no one offered me the option to buy anything during the flight. The crew attitude is the worst I've seen. I have flown more then 300 times. I felt I disturbed their conversations which were more important. Once I waited 2 minutes in front of them before they stopped their private discussion. Lufthansa has a special team for A380 and they are super helpfull. Entertainment system is slow and the UI is much worst than on LH A380 and Emirates."
Negativ: "the connection in CDG was so annoying - they had a long queue for security check and only one scanner. And crew was coming in avoiding the queue so people would stay even longer. And my connection was only 45 mins...."
Positiv: "As usual, great staff, no delay, comfortable seats. We were offered champagne, wine, liquor with our delicious meal and given a choice of 2 entrees. A complimentary pillow, blanket and headphone are given and all that in economy class!"

Crew: with the exception of one - just one from a complement of 15 odd - of the crew, the rest were a surly, inhospitable miserable bunch. If you hate your job don't take it out on customers - especially in a service industry."

Es gab keine Möglichkeit, nochmal in das Flugzeug zu kommen oder mit der Crew Kontakt zu bekommen. Alle weiteren Versuche, dort jemanden zu erreichen, waren geradezu grotesk lächerlich: wenn man wg. Verlust die Fluggesellschaft anrief, sollte man das Fundbüro am Zielflughafen, also London, anrufen. Wenn man dieses anrief, sollte man die Fluggesellschaft anrufen. Ein endloser Kreisverkehr ohne Ergebnis. Wirklich lächerlich(Ryanair übrigens). Gottseidank war es ein 20,-€-Cellphone rein zum Telefonieren, ohne Daten oder Bilder, das wäre sonst katatrophal. Selten so etwas Kundenunfreundliches erlebt."
Positiv: "Es nervt ohne Ende, dass für einen kleinen Flug hinterher 3 mal gefragt wird wie es war. Es war ein Flug wie jeder andere auch nur dass diesmal hinterher mein Postfach vollgespamt wird. Deshalb werde ich nicht mehr über Swoodoo buchen!!!! Hinweis British Airways hat auch schon gefragt wie ich den Flug fand. Sprecht Euch ab um Eure Kunden nicht zu nerven."
Negativ: "It is difficult to get in and out of chair. I wish the chair handle would be moved up . Every time I needed to go to bathroom , I hurt myself."
Negativ: "I didn't like the no wifi on the planes and that you couldn't upgrade at the gate like you can with many other airlines."

All dishes are highly under-seasoned, but a packet of salt and paper is provided, so this is not a curial concern."

Beim Online Check In hatte ich 24 Stunden vor Abflug die Auswahl zwischen 4 Mittelplätzen und einem Fensterplatz in der letzten Reihe.Wahrscheinlich versucht BA mit der Vorreservierung noch Geld zu machen.Crew war leider auch nicht besonders gut drauf. Für mich im Ganzen eine sehr entäuschende Erfahrung. Das bekommt selbst Easy Jet besser hin."

Die Stewardess hat uns keine Hilfe angeboten.. als ich eine Klappe öffnen wollte bei dem Ihr Kopf im Weg stand, habe ich auf die bitte die Klappe öffnen zu dürfen eine wütende Antwort bekommen, mein Kopf ist im Weg. Negativ: "The crew wasn't too observant. I had my blinker button on for 40 minutes because I realized I was never given a headphone to watch tv. As I patiently waited, I saw the flight attendants in the back doing nothing but chatting. So I tried clicking again in hopes they would head and come to assist me. But nothing. So I had to hail one over for headphones. They also kept the curtains open the entire flight even though people were trying to sleep. I had to put a jacket over my face to block the light and so did the person sitting next to me."
Negativ: "Aside from not being able to leave for almost a whole day, they lost our luggage upon arriving to Los Angeles."
