I even asked in a Toronto and they said no and nobody in Atlanta told me to collect my bags. So bags never made it until the next AM. The West Jet rep was very good and located the bags and they were delivered as promised. You should provide 3 page detailed instructions on how to handle Toronto. I am a seasoned traveler by the way. I’ve never seen anything worse. I could go on and on."

Then on of my checked luggage was lost enroute - which made getting off the flights even later which made me miss a meeting that I was scheduled to be at. All because you didn't have the crew needed to check in."

At no point in the booking process, when I paid over $800 for the trip, was I told that I needed a specific travel visa (Canadian ETA) to fly back into Toronto for my return flight. Subsequently when I checked in for my flight yesterday morning in Manchester, England, I did not have the required travel documents and had to be rerouted onto a flight into the U.S. at a cost to me of $350. The rerouted flight got me to Washington Dulles airport, where I then had to purchase a second flight to get me home to Cleveland, Ohio, at an additional/extra cost of $450. MY CAR IS PARKED AT TORONTO PEARSON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT!!! I am having to now rent a car and drive there tomorrow (Friday) to collect my car, at another additional cost of $100 plus a 10-hour round trip. Due to the lack of information and communication on your companies behalf, I am down close to a $1,000 and will lose 2-days in work as of the additional days I am having to travel back to Toronto to collect my vehicle. I would appreciate contact from your organization to find the avenue I need to take for compensation of my time and finances. Regards"

Negativ: "This airline has little respect for its customers. In the economy/coach cabin, they squeeze the seat distances to such an extent that, when the person in front of you leans their chair back, you cannot get out of your seat at an upright angle. You have to significantly bend your body. To not loose your balance, you have to grab on to the seat in front of you and that disturbs the other passenger. If they're sleeping, they can be woken up by that. Lufthansa does not care much for its passengers. Nor do many other companies, for that matter, but I think Lufthansa is taking things further than most airlines. It is a disgrace. Their brand is not what it once was."

Negativ: "The flight was delayed for 2.5 hours, for a reason they never made clear after they let the passengers wait in line for 45 minutes to board. Once aboard, the Lufthansa planes were much much less comfortable than the Air Canada plane I took to Frankfurt. There is very little space and the seats are crammed together. The food they served was very bad, especially again in comparison with Air Canada. Once we arrived in Toronto, they made us wait nearly an hour before exiting the aircraft. It would seem that the Toronto airport would have to know we were coming and should have prepared accordingly, but apparently not. We sat, several passengers missed their connecting flights and were angry. I nearly missed my flight, having to run and race through customs (who are in no hurry)."

I sat in the middle seat between two hours other men. It was a constant struggle arm space. After 7hours in the air I could not wait to get off the plane. If I didn't actually pay an extra €60 for the seat I may not feel bad but I feel like I might have been better off without paying for the "upgrade""

Even then it took them two days to bring it to us, two precious days off our planned vacation (7 days) At the end of the shortened vacation, we got to the chek in, and told that since the ticket I had purchased form them two months earlier was too cheap ... and since the flight was Over booked, they would take me off the plane if all the passengers would arrive. It's unnecessary to describe what I felt until the plane took off. They apologize constantly, but do nothing practical. a bae company. no me nor my freinds/family will go with KLM"

Und da das Weiterflug-Gate direkt in der Nähe war, konnte man den Flieger auch ohne erneute und unnötige Sicherheitskontrolle erreichen. Allerdings gab's auch keine Passkontrolle. Mir sollte es Recht sein."

Negativ: "Einchecken in Birmingham eine Katastrophe. Lange Schlange und Wartezeit von mindestens einer halben Stunde beim Boarding. Es wird schon der Final Call ausgerufen, während die Passagiere alle in der Schlange vor der Abfertigung stehen. Und dann bei strömendem Regen zu Fuss zum Flieger, weil er nicht andoggen kann. Alle nass ins Flugzeug. Aber, das liegt natürlich an der Abfertigung in Birmingham und nicht an KLM."

We were allowed a cabin bag and a small hand-bag in the flight but as we were among the last half of the passengers to board the flight we couldn't find anywhere to keep our luggage and the crew had to take them away from us to store them somewhere at the back far away from our seats. As a result we had to wait until all the passengers got off the plane to get back our luggage and we were the last two passengers to get off. Unpleasant!"

Negativ: "Boarding was very slow and not well organized therefore all passengers were trying to find their seat at the same time. No pillows or blankets available. The entertainment system has not kept up to date. Poor reception and old movies. My new case was damaged that can't be repaired on route from Heathrow-Dublin-Toronto Aer-Lingus is no different from any other airline that fly across the Atlantic - too bad"

Negativ: "Aer Lingus imposes a maximum limit of 10 kg on carry on bags. For checked bags, there is a minimum charge of 35 euros which seems very high for a suitcase of 15 kg or less. The charge increases by 5 euros for each additional five kilos. We had to pay an additional 70 euros over our air fares. In order not to have to pay any more, we spent a good amount of time shifting items from one suitcase to another to avoid exceeding any of these weight limitations. One more hassle which takes away from the pleasure of traveling!"

Negativ: "Leider waren wir aufgrund des verspäteten Flughafenbuses 'erst' 1 Stunde vor Abflug am Flughafen. Obwohl wir nur mit Hangepäck unterwegs und bereits online eingecheckt waren, war es uns nicht mehr möglich beim Self-checkin die Boardingkarte auszudrucken. Boardingkarte am Handy, wie bei sehr vielen Linien bereits Standard, gab es nicht. Auf die Frage was zu tun sei, verwies man uns auf die lange Schlange bei der Gepäckaufgabe und teilte uns mit, dass es knapp werden würde den Flug zu erreichen... Erst die 3. sehr freundliche Angestellte schickte uns zum Express Check-in und wir waren 25 Minuten vor Abflug beim Boarding. Das hätte man uns auch leichter machen können..."

Positiv: "Über die eingetretene Verzögerung wurde etwas spät, aber immerhin ausreichend informiert. In der Luft konnte ein Teil der Zeit wieder gut gemacht werden."

I'm young and fit so was able for the dash but elderly or familys would not have made the connecting flight in that time"

Negativ: "The check-in in Duesseldorf was subcontracted and staffed by an uninformed agent which led to a lot of confusion and inconvenience in Dublin. Someone like that does not reflect well on Aer Lingus which I definitely recommend otherwise!"

Der Preis für das Lunchpaket war ärgerlich hoch. Das Unterhaltungssystem funktionierte auf einem Platz nicht. Beides eigentlich nicht so wichtig - aber wenn Sie schon danach fragen..."

Die Koffer haben extra gebucht werden müssen, was sehr teuer war. Der Flug selber ist angenehm verlaufen, abgesehen davon, dass es nicht einmal ein Trinken gab."

Positiv: "We were loaded into a bus to shuttle to the aircraft. We waited 30 minutes in the bus with everyone crowded in."
Negativ: "The plane was not handicapped accessible and should have been listed that way. Fortunately my friend who was using a wheelchair was not on that flight."

Negativ: "Hinflug VIE-DUB: wurden nach zwei Stunden Wartezeit im Flieger gebeten den Flieger wieder zu verlassen auf Grund von Technischen Gebrechen. Flug wurde auf den nächsten Tag verschoben wodurch wir einen ganzen Urlaubstag verloren haben Ersatzflug am nächsten Tag hatte wieder über eine Stunde Verspätung - Grund: die Crew war nicht rechtzeitig da... mussten ihren Gesichtern nach zu Urteilen ihren Rausch ausschlafen Heimflug DUB-VIE: mussten wieder 2 Stunden aufs Boarding warten, mindestens 5 mal wurde das Gate geandert und wir bekammen nur mangelhaft Info warum und wann wir den starten würden... wurden immer wieder um 15 oder 20 Minuten vertröstet. Dann war die Maschine endlich da, Boarding begann und wurde aber bei der Hälfte wieder abgebrochen, alle mussten wieder raus - wieder ein technisches Gebrechen am Flieger (war wohl wieder der gleiche Flieger) Wieder wurde versucht es herzurichten, weitere knapp 2 Stunden Wartezeit bis dann endlich eine Ersatzmaschine da war. In Summe wieder fast 5 Stunden Verspätung bei der Heimreise. Ich fliege viel, aber so etwas habe ich noch nicht erlebt. NIE WIEDER mit AirLingus!!"

We were told that the flight we were supposed to be on was full and there was no flights until the next morning. To top it off Air Canada could not locate our baggage and we were told to wait around and check back every half hour. If was past two in the morning Dublin time and our kids were exhausted and fell esleep in the airport. We could not wait around any longer with exhausted children so we booked a hotel and took our kids there without our luggage. Our kids were crying because our baggage was lost and thus was a shitty way to end our vacation and my birthday! Would not recommend flying with Aer Lingus or Air Canada. Horrible service."

Original flight was delayed, then it was a long walk from one end literally to the other end, then passport control!!!! Although flight was really cheap, I'm n sure I'll use them again. All the flights took forever to disembark, to take off. And the washrooms smelled!!!!"

Positiv: "Das Flugpersonal war durchaus freundlich, aber irgendwie nicht besonders engagiert. Es wurde ein Minimumprogramm abgespult. Was soll ich mit dem Brot, wenn das essen vorbei ist. Warum fragt man mich nach der Auswahl, wenn es nur 1 Option gibt (Lunch). Gerade von einer asiatischen Airline erwarte ich hier mehr, auch in 'Economy'. Die Sitze waren sehr eng."

Positiv: "Auf dem Langstreckenflug war das Personal sehr freundlich, machte aber einen wenig erfahrenen Eindruck. Die Sitze im Flugzeug waren sehr eng! Die Verpflegung muss man als mäßig bezeichnen, da bieten andere Gesellschaften mehr."

Negativ: "The cabin on the 777-200 was far too hot (about 25c) and with no individual air vent I found this unbearable on a 12 hour flight. And despite the flight taking place entirely during daylight hours and leaving at 10:30 am, inexplicably we were made to all pull our blinds down and the lights went off after a couple of hours - in the middle of the day and for about 8 hours! So although I had paid for a window seat there was nothing to see apart from the window shade. As it was the middle of the day I could not go to sleep, the person in front of me reclined fully so for me the flight was a hot, claustropobic, dark hell. An utterly miserable experience. I felt like I was going mad, trapped in my own little cell."

Negativ: "Being placed into a window seat at 6' 5". Although I opted for general seating rather than paying for a extra leg room which is out of my budget. Not getting an aisle seat was disturbing at my height. Then there was the guy in front of me not willing to forego putting his seat back on my knees for over half the flight. It would be nice if the seat assignments for general boarding considered the height of the person being assigned."

Positiv: "The lounge is great, however the food is substandard to nearly every other lounge that I have used."
Negativ: "The food on the plane is even worse, The staff were ok but not overly going out of their way to help with any issues, also they could at least pretend to smile."

Hier auch wieder kleine Sauberkeitsmängel..zum Beispiel an der Leselampe..die Toilettenanzahl zu wenig und die zweite wurde auch noch von den Economy Fluggästen benutzt,man bekam auch nicht genügend Getränke(Wasser),zwischendurch wurde nichts weiter angeboten.."

Positiv: "Der Flug dauerte nicht lange,das Checkin klappte gut und die Crew war auch zuvorkommend und nett."
Negativ: "Wir waren über den älteren Zustand der Flugzeuge enttäuscht.Die gesamte Innenausstattung war sehr unmodern und alt,teilweise sogar abgenutzt und schmutzig..für eine staatliche Gesellschaft hätten wir eher Lufthansa Standard erwartet..ausserdem war dieser Flug kein Business sondern Economy mit einem frei gelassenem Sitzplatz.."
