Negativ: I didn’t like the food choice at all. The fish didn’t taste good. Chicken with pasta tasted cheap and the beef with potatoes were spicy. Should have make the spicy sauce on the side in case for people who can’t eat spicy food. They used to serve 3 meals now cut down to 2 meals... maybe it’s time to reconsider another airline.

Negativ: Boarding was late, "snack" was a small wafer. Flight crew hid behind a curtain for most of the flight.
Negativ: Plane left 3 hours late for a tire change? Missed connections and had to rent a car. Audio jack didn’t work on tv. Flight attendant was aware of time issues and were going to help me get off plane quick. They didn’t.. Also, why is the 787 so hot? Nice plane but needs air vents. Both times now it was sooo warm in the cabin.

Positiv: Very pleased with KLM - efficiency all round and especially the baggage handling at Schipol swhere I had 20 minutes to transfer and my baggage came back with me to the UK which is no mean feat given the hustle and bustle of such a large airport

Negativ: SAS like other airlines gives you a chance to bid on a nicer seat. If the offer is accepted, your card is charged the amount you bid and you are upgraded. If your offer is not accepted, you keep your seat and are not charged for bidding. I placed a bid for a nicer seat and was informed the day before the flight that my bid was rejected. But when the plane was boarding, I went to the man at the desk and asked if the plane was full. He informed me that it was not, and that I could pay roughly $300 for economy plus, or $1000 for business class. Online, I was ALLOWED to bid $200 for the economy plus seat. If they are going to reject this offer and then have the seat fly empty, they are a bunch of dicks. They had a chance for me to be a happier customer and to make more money. Now they lost both. What was also terrible is that when I family with an infant was moved up a few seats, I suggested to the lady next to me who wanted the newly vacant aisle seat that she ask the flight attendant for it. The flight attendant said it was fine. As the lady sitting next to me went to her her new seat, and old man from a few rows up took it. Another flight attendant had promised it to him. So, now the two of us are crammed, she's pissed that the seat she said she could have she couldn't, and I'm there like "My god, they wouldn't even take my money to let me have a nicer, EMPTY, seat." Poor communication, poorly run. Try another airline.

Negativ: They list checked our stroller in at the gate but didn’t give it back at our layover in Moscow 6 hour carrying a baby. And when we went to their desk immediately after getting off our plane from Sofia to Moscow they wouldn’t even call the plane to see if it was there.

Positiv: Almost nothing, this was a terrible flight and experience! The movies were good, that's about it.
Negativ: No online check-in, long waiting at in-person check-in. Rude, inattentive personnel; worst is that every passenger in transit need to go through customs in Xiamen which is terribly complicated. No word about this upon booking or on Xiamen airline's website. Customs in China isn't a nice experience either. Nobody was able to find the right way for check-in, it was a mess. I will never fly again Xiamen Airlines and I recommend to everyone to avoid this airline under any circumstances.
Positiv: Very good service. I have a bad knee and they did a good job of helping. Long layover is ok, they offer free hotel. Side benefit you can be a tourist for a short time.
Negativ: Lounge could be improved. Does not compare to other Airlines Lounges.

Negativ: After I checked in found out the boarding pass is not my name !! Went back got the right one & also changed luggage tags (2) , but the luggage’s missing, tidy is day 3 ! Still hoping....

I called UIF office 7 times and finally one of the reps was able to give me full information and reschedule my flight with other airlanes. In the airport I saw a bunch of people who came for their flight... which was cancelled. I received email about cancellation after I spoke with UIF reps. Never will reccomend or use this airline again

Positiv: No real complaints here. Went on 4 flights in total and all were relatively decent. The planes are old, but 3 of 4 of my planes had upgraded seats with tv screens built in, where you can plug your phone to charge. The seats are of regular comfort, nothing outstanding, but not too bad (I’ve definitely had worse). Cannot regulate AC, which is somewhat annoying, but once again, not a big deal. Did not take food options so can’t comment on that. Flight staff is more or less polite, always smiling, and will make sure you have what you need. Would probably book again with UIA if it were an option.

Leads you through online check-in but denies allowing you to complete it. Could not reserve any seats (for 4 international flights) ahead of airport check-in. Forced to give up my assigned seat to accommodate someone else. No customer service contact phone number (in English) that works. Poorly designed website - difficult to locate and utilize options.
