Negativ: "Let's see... Refused to check my bag because the flight was "over booked". The plane blew an engine on takeoff and then landed in Shannon, IR (150 miles west of Dublin). Once there, the airline had no idea what to do with us passengers (for 4 hours), eventually deciding to put us on buses back to Dublin. Once back there we were offered stand by flights to London, where we could try to find flights back to the U.S. (again, on stand by). When we finally got on another Aer Lingus flight (3 days later), my wife and I were asked for $80 to check a second bag. When we asked the desk agent to wave the fee because of our 1st flight mishap, we were told "Hey, you lived through it, didn't you?". Avoid this airline"

The entertainment on board is very very old stuff, and shockingly the food is also bad and no vegetarian food."

Erst die 3. sehr freundliche Angestellte schickte uns zum Express Check-in und wir waren 25 Minuten vor Abflug beim Boarding. Das hätte man uns auch leichter machen können..."

Rood and not helpful, told me to try FB messenger and online changing again. Failed to get a voucher, refund or change the dates online, was still getting an error. on messenger they answered and told me i can get a voucher, i told them i don't want it and after that they stopped replying all together. good thing i got my money back by filing a dispute with my credit cart company."

They did after many customer complained, and adding to that, my checkin bag didn't make and they have no information on it's location. Still 24 hours later and no information a d i don't have clothes to change or stuff to shower. I had to buy few stuff and they said they won't payback anu other expenses, mean telling to just wait for my only lost bag."

Negativ: "This was the 4th flight I have taken between LAX and Warsaw...but was the first time that there were no beer nor wine available in between meal services. On a 12-13 hour flight, this was a definite disappointment compared to my other experiences on LOT. The other concern was there were only two meals, and no snack service on a very long flight. This again stood out in contrast to the previous flights I have taken on LOT."

There had been a two-hour delay for my flight in from Warsaw to Moscow, also for technical problems, on Friday July 13, 2018. Obviously, LOT needs to insure its planes are safe, but it needs to do so sufficiently in advance of take-off so that its passengers are not inconvenienced by lengthy delays."

After I requested not to be disturbed ever again with that kind of requests, they woke me up for breakfast again. I was the only passenger around that they requested to pull my seat."

Sei es auch in der Eco kulturbeutel, Glas Wasser nachsem Einstieg, sogar warme Erfrischungstücher in der Eco. Gerne hätte ich auch die Stimme des Piloten gehört, aber das ist scheinbar bei AZ nicht so üblich. Aber, jetzt kommt das große aber, für den Preis absolut OK. Warum jemand teures Geld für die Business Class ausgibt ist wirklich fraglich."

Positiv: "Alitalia gets a bad rap, but I thought this flight was excellent, and a comfortably way to travel the 13 hour flight from Rome to Los Angeles. Cabins recently refurbished on 777 thanks to Etihad Airways investment. Food, and plenty of it, was excellent. Wide selection of wines. Choice between freshly made American coffee or Espresso (from Lavazza). Lie flat seats are way more comfortable than KLM. Esoteric selection of documentaries and Italian movies. Leather seats and color scheme is elegant. Also, business class lounge (Alitalia House) at Rome Fiumincino serves delicious freshly cut Italian cold cuts, cheeses, pastrries, and has an actual barista vs a machine. You don't get the sense that they are cutting corners, which is probably why the airline keeps losing money, but that is to the benefit of the traveler (for now). Service friendly. For nonstop to this part of Europe, or for connections to Southern Europe, it may be my number one Skyteam choice."
Negativ: "Check in is extremely unorganized and long lines at Sky Priority, but someone finally directed me to the VIP check in in the back, which you can use if you are flying Business Class or have Elite status. This was not indicated anywhere, though, so make sure you ask or look for it if there is a long line at check in. Then, the gate is very, very far. Not sure why they had me check in at Terminal 1 as the gate is in Terminal 3. Make sure to allow for plenty of time, and maybe see if it's possible to check in at Terminal 3, which may well save time. But for a 14-hour flight in total comfort, the trade off was worth it."

Positiv: "I had not flown overseas in so long that I had forgotten how nice flying could be. The flight attendants were especially attentive and helpful. Not only did we get a "free" meal, but it included white or red wine if desired. I felt like I was experiencing what flying used to be like in an earlier time."

It was difficult to move at all for this 12 hour flight. I am not very tall at only 5'7" and I am slim. Also, the lunch was worse than any I've ever had."

Negativ: "The flight attendant at the check in said our luggage was too big and needed to be checked. We got a ticket from her but when we got to the plane nobody said anything and we simply did what we had done all the previous flights we have ever taken, we stowed them in the overhead bins. The flight wasn't full and in fact some overhead bins were completely empty, but I guess she had her job to do and thought it wouldn't fit, but maybe she could have asked if we had used it before. I don't know why they say it's too big when we had been traveling throughout Europe for almost a month and had taken it on 4-5 flights and many other trips. It all worked out. Footnote Air France never made a issue of the exact same baggage that Alitalia said was to big. The bags fit fine on all airlines we have traveled. The flight was delayed 45 minutes which made my connection a bit tight. I was connecting to Air France which is part of The SkyTeam alliance comprises with Alitalia but my luggage could not be moved to the Flight to LAX so I had to get the bag I did check and go through the process all over again."

Negativ: "Boarding process was a mess, flight was late due to the confusion. Crew took forever to collect trash after the in flight meal was over."

Negativ: "Oldest plane I've seen in recent years, crew barely acknowledged our presence (talked to each other the whole time), no working air conditioning, and big metal boxes in front of the window seats that take up all of the leg room (yes these seats aren't cheaper."

Not the way I wanted to start my vacation. Instead of driving south now I'll be waiting at the airport all day On the flight the seat in front of me folded back all the way to my head! How does that happen?"

Positiv: "The flight departed on time and arrived 35 minutes early. The flight crew was very helpful onboard."
Negativ: "Tried to upgrade my elderly parents to more comfortable seats when checking in, but was told the flight was full and there were none available. It didn't appear that way after being boarded and seated."

Negativ: "HORRIBLE seats. So unbelievably uncomfortable"

Negativ: "I tried to talk with the service desk to change my flight before the flight and the service team could not help me out because only the service desk outside security could look up other fights. I find this hard to believe and a little ridiculous that AirItalia would make their customers run around inside and outside security to switch flights. We live in a day of technology and have computers for a reason. There shouldn't be an issue why other flights can be looked up from only one computer. In addition, we boarded the plane and then we waited on the tarmac for 2 hours waiting to leave. The air was turned off and it was hot and stuffy inside the plane."
