New tickets had to be bought my my other family, although their flight was delayed. I am definitely reporting them to the better business bureau. They should not be in business at all. Never again"

It should also be stated that Casablanca airport was in a state of chaos when I transited, with no one in charge of directing people towards connections, passengers fighting, screaming and forcing their way through security. If Royal Air Maroc wants to continue expanding and attracting passengers, Casablanca airport needs to be able to handle large numbers of transiting passengers both in terms of infrastructure and ground personnel handling traffic and rebookings."

They don’t have a desk at the Amsterdam airport so it’s difficult to get anything cleared up. Very frustrated. And disappointed that I had to waste time dealing with all this on my vacation. Also... Someone lit a cigarette and the plane was smokey and gross. I will Never fly this airline again."

Who offers basically microwaved fish on a flight, everyone knows you shouldn’t reheat fish. There was also no entertainment on a 6 1/2 hour flight and the WiFi would not connect."

This caused me a lot of stress as when I called lastminute.com to find out what was going on as TAP didn’t have a flight leaving to my destination it was only after several minutes of conveying there was no Tap flight that the customer service rep said oh you are to check in with Azores Air."

When we landed, we sat on the runway for 20 minutes or so waiting for a gate. Customs/immigration in Boston was HORRIBLE, we waited in lines for over 90 minutes."

Had to spend extra money for hotel room and car rental in Madrid because our final destination was Sevilla. Will never work with Azores or Kayak again. BTW, did we mention that while "working" with Azores to reschedule flight, we were booked to fly into an island off of Africa. Luckily, we followed up online with the changed itinerary."

They did not explain well what was going on."

For the second time flying with Azores Airlines, the in-flight entertainment system did not work in all seats, only in some; of course not ours. Very disappointing and boring for long overseas flights!"

Positiv: "Honestly, they had the best plane food I've had in a while. Flight very comfortable and uneventful, they even gave us blankets and pillows."

The flight from São Miguel to Terceira was delayed in 30 minutes. - As if the delay wasn't enough, we had to return to gate as the plane prepared for takeoff because of technical problems. SATA (Azorean Airlines) international planes are too old..."
Positiv: "We read several bad reviews of Azores Airlines but our flight over to the islands and back to Boston was smooth riding and on time if not early. Our three interisland flights were also easy and on time, staff great."
Positiv: "The crew were PHENOMENAL going out of their way to ensure the needs of the passengers were met - truly the backbone of Azores Airlines. The seats on the Airbus 330 were relatively comfortable with decent pitch and extendable headrests."
Negativ: "Boarding was delayed twice for a little over an hour total - limited time to make transfer in ponta delgada."

Negativ: "They crammed way too many seats into the planes; it's really awful if it's a full flight, and if you're claustrophobic or prefer space around you, forget it! When the guy in front of me reclined his seat, his head was practically in my lap. Some tray tables were broken. The planes seem old. But it's the only airline that flies to the Azores from the U.S., I believe, so this is the only option. They also very slow, and we left late to and from the Azores."
Positiv: "It was a economical flight. The food was pretty good as well."
Negativ: "We had changes to pretty much every leg of our flights. One was delayed by 2.5 hours. I understand that flights get delayed but they hardly gave us any information as to what was going on. The flight was pretty smooth but the flight attendants didn't seem interested in our comfort. They weren't rude but they weren't pleasant either. I guess I'm used to a different style of service that I did not receive on Azores."
