Negativ: The flight was delayed and we could not check in online from home.
Negativ: Nothing except control for entertainment didn’t work
Positiv: Not much really except Wi-fi which is pricey though.
Negativ: Delayed with no information. Boarding bit chaotic and once on board no food left to buy as everything has been sold out. Despite me being in row 1 and the first customer to be served. Plane arrived at low cost Barcelona terminal and we had to wait quite long for our luggage. Eurowings race to the bottom.
Negativ: 12 hour flight with no in flight movies unless you paid an extra EUR 10. Food tastes bad, plus I was skipped from the second meal despite having prepaid for it (flight attendant overlooked that my seat was on a list, part of the problems that come with nickeling and diming for every single thing including even meals on an international flight). Despite flying to the US, attendants consistently only spoke German to me and my wife, did not speak on both German and English.
Positiv: Food, crew, boarding experience, to wit.
Negativ: Nothing really. I was totally disappointed with the other legs, but this last leg was exceptional. Not sure if I’ll ever consider flying with China Souther Airlines though.

Negativ: Why is my passport number wrong?
Negativ: Xiamen reps at KUL didn’t let me board because they said my middle name on boarding pass didn’t match with the name on Chinese transit visa. I got this Chinese transit visa just to transfer because of the airport layout and that part was also didn’t make sense. They didn’t accept my middle “Y” on the boarding pass and it was so much of hassle to argue and finally let me through. Will never fly again on Xiamen.
Positiv: food and service
Positiv: This leg was continuation of flight that began in Xiamen. Same plane and crew. 787 Dreamliner layout is efficient, generous legroom and recline is better than American carriers. Crew works as team, fast and courteous. Very helpful and professional, Water offered frequently, trash pick up kept cabin neat, bathrooms always clean. Passenger announcements are clear and crisp is English and Chinese.
Negativ: Really, no complaints. More entertainment choices would be appreciated however is not my priority.
Positiv: Complimentary wifi and excellent crew service
Negativ: The econ seat is too low, when front seater tilted the seat backward, the screen is right in front of my face. Entertainment video screen doesn’t adjust; in other words, it cannot be adjust in angle, causing neck pain over time. Meals are average, definitely different from the quality compared to regional or domestic equivalent. Very sad, considering that Xiamen Air has a good reputation inside China. The restroom is also poorly stocked — no toilet roll constantly
Negativ: The main meal was ok but that was it. If you can't do food to a standard them dint do it at all. A piece of fruit would have been better

Positiv: Good news, the checking in process was so delayed as there were so many people, they made sure all who checked in, got on the plane, no hitches on the lugguages either. I got my lugguage in Singapore.
Negativ: JFK to Singapore through Abu Dhabi. The checking in process at JFK was a mess, it was a full flight. There were many people, trying checking in. Two lines, (1) checking in. (2) checked in, dropping off bags. Some of us who had checked in online was trying to drop off bags only. After waiting 1.5 hours, this line isn't moving at all, while the checking in line was moving. Tried telling the gentlemen in charge who worked there that the checked in line dropping off bagguage was not moving, he didn't really care, they made all kinds of excuses saying other people were waiting, so they were completely clueless as to what was going on. I have never experienced this ever and I fly massively each year. First and last time in Etihad. JFK to Abu Dhabi is a good 13 hour flight. NO SNACKS. SG/BA, or any other airline really has nice sandwishes, ramen, chocolate, cookies, chips. Etihad has NOTHING. Not that I snack but still with a 13 to 14 hour flight, airlines should have something to eat during long flights. Really. Etihad who brands and advertises brilliantly, was extremely disppointing to actually be on the flight.

Positiv: -maintenance had to fix an issue that the team was not transparent about for 2.5 hours. 0at least boarding happened swiftly -the male crew member was GREAT but the female crew members two of them were very short, rude, and not there to bring comfort to customers -chicken meal was tasty, but made both me and my father sick. Muffin for breakfast was mediocre as well -tv was good, but touch screen sometimes doesn't work.
Negativ: When I purchased the ticket I did not know that I have to pay for my bag. It would have been nice to know about this in advance

Positiv: Our flight was delayed 45 in Chicago due to ice on the wings. Then about 10 mins of holding to land. With a 90 min lay over, unboarding and reboarding was rushed......but Cathay and security did their best I feel, It was only a 90 min flight and I didn't eat or watch a movie.
Negativ: Again, being 6-4, I struggle with comfort and after having no time to rest while switching planes, I was exhausted when I arrived in Manila.
Negativ: Delayed for hours. Missed connecting flight. They rebooked for a flight half a day later. Horrible!

Negativ: Vulgar rude cabin attendants. Careless ground crew baggage arrived broken dirty and scratched Bus to plane stuck behind a plane in the snow. Not safe and led to over an hour delay. Cheap airline.

Negativ: The flight was delayed which didn’t allow enough time for a transfer. The crew was rude, apparently there is no alocohil served on this flights, even for purchase. You can buy some beer for 4 euros but nothing else. They didn’t turn on a/c so it was very hot as well. The choice of movies was horrible.
Positiv: Premium Economy has good seats. Staff OK.
Negativ: The connection system at SVO Terminal D, International to International, is horrible, and dangerous. If any panic would have started during the 1 hour 15 the 1000 and more of us were squeezed in a small transit room, hoping to get to the two tiny security belts, people would have died. Shame on them

Negativ: Everything was incredibly poor. Flight was delayed, entertainment was outdated and the airport staff were rude.
Negativ: I have never been in a situation were a flight has been delayed due to the co-pilot suffering a knee injury prior to take off. A request for a doctor on board after an hour or so and then having to leave the plane and then re-board after about 40 minutes was quite bizarre.
Positiv: Crew was nice, too short of a flight to figure out more

Positiv: Yes they where excellent on everyway possible but the 1st hour of the flight was rough.
Positiv: The plane was about 3/4 full, so it felt like there was extra room. It was a red-eye flight, easy to sleep and quiet.
Negativ: Be prepared for some pushing and shoving by the other passengers.

Positiv: WiFi während dem Flug mit 10 min Gratis Internetzugang (Try Zugang) und online on-Board Mediathek. da vergeht der Flug gleich schneller. Boardservice bietet nicht nur die üblichen Standard Sandwiche, sondern ausgefallenes von Food Start-up Unternehmern. Ebenfalls gut: die Rückenlehne ist verstellbar und Sitze bequem mit guter Beinfreiheit
Negativ: Leider war der Flug verspätet und das Board Personal überfordert und lustlos. Damit dann auch nicht freundlich. Deutsch und englisch wurde bei den Durchsagen nur gebrochen gesprochen. Grundsätzlich finde ich internationales Personal super, aber es sollte dann bitte verständlich sein. Erst recht Durchsagen und Sicherheitshinweise. Leider haben die Passergiere versteckt die Augen verdreht und gelacht. Auch nicht in Ordnung!

Positiv: Well, I got to my destination. We were bussed from a maintenance area to the arriving terminal. That was about 15 minutes of ride time. Then we waited a long time for our luggage since it was not actually at the terminal either.

Negativ: Lost my check-in luggage - still not returned after 4 days. Broke my expensive checked-in suitcase on the first leg of the trip. (No reimbursement for loss or damage.) Leads you through online check-in but denies allowing you to complete it. Could not reserve any seats (for 4 international flights) ahead of airport check-in. Forced to give up my assigned seat to accommodate someone else. No customer service contact phone number (in English) that works. Poorly designed website - difficult to locate and utilize options.

Negativ: The flight attendants are dry and unhelpful to others not their own race.
Positiv: Plane left late from Manila and was asked to run to catch the connecting flight to LAX. Monitor did not work. Flight attendant/s were rude whenever their asking to stow away foot rest. Never say please. When I got to LAX, I needed to wait for the very last luggage for me to find out that my luggage was left in Guangzhou. No apologies whatsoever and was given a direction to file a report. Very sad experience.
