For a flight to Japan, I thought $1,000 round trip direct from Boston was an excellent price considering you got 2 complete meals and additional snacks. Much more than I expected. Would fly Japan Airlines again."

Positiv: "Crew did a first-rate job, and space in economy seating was civilized. Snacks and juices were tasty and plentiful. Bathrooms were spacious and waits for access were manageable. Television screens and headphones in economy were easy to use and reproduced video and audio content well. Overhead storage space was adequate, even for an almost fully-booked flight whose passengers relied upon it very heavily."
Negativ: "One of my vegetarian meals (the larger of the two) wasn't vegetarian. This was astonishing -- a first for me in more than twenty years of flights across the Pacific. Not once have I had a vegetarian meal that included chicken, but that is just what was served to me on this flight; I was obliged to spit it out, and to wash my mouth afterwards. The selection of films offered was demoralizingly poor, and the seatback pockets afforded even less storage space than usual."

I used to every time get excited to fly with Thai. this time i had two Thai connections between Tokyo - Bankgkok and Bangkok-Delhi, both times my two young minor children were automatically seated away from me and each other also during checkin process. it took a lot of time and convincing the agent to get my own children seated with me on long international flights! Food service was worse than expect for name of Thai airways!"

Maybe someday."

They spoke great English and ensured me and my husband sat together during our 15 hr flight to Vietnam.! They had so many options on new movies and music that helped pass the time. The food was very tasty as well as there snacks and drinks! The entire staff were helpful and appeared to enjoy their jobs. I will always fly with ANA when returning to ASIA."

Negativ: "I usually take an aisle seat, but it was not available this time. Furthermore, my ajacent passenger to my right hand side had cold and often coughed and I myseld caught cold from him during this flight...."

One ANA staff sends us to wait to a certain counter after looking at our ENTIRE trip (all 3 segments), only to find out 20min later that we were supposed to go to ANOTHER counter, because our ultimate destination was International (USA). Also, boarding passes had to be REPRINTED in Tokyo for some reason. Note: on the way to Okinawa 2 weeks earlier, we had similar poor experience, but we only had to wait 5 min in the wrong lane. Overall ANA staff is very nice, friendly and smiling, but seems to get overwhelmed and confused very easily, and take FOREVER to do simple tasks that their US counterparts do 3x or 4x FASTER. --> do more regular TRAINING of your staff at airport counters !"

Negativ: "Flight attendants didn't speak English; no amenities provided (toothbrush, eye kit, etc.) like Etihad and Qatar provide in economy. There weren't a lot of meal options. There should be double the movies and music offered given that you can go through all of the offerings in one or two legs of a trip. I had four. BBC news didn't work on any leg of the trip and the Japanese news was in Japanese only, no English."

So I ended up to talk to them that I haven’t had my meal yet. It was embarrassing moment for me. They seemed thinking that I lied to them."

I don’t think they did it on purpose so it was just misunderstanding. My flight was on SQ 38 from Singapore to LAX on October 30 2019 Other than that. All is amazing. I will still highly recommend Singapore Airlines to other people."

Food: Chicken with peppers average, no good taste Drinks: had to broken cups, one on the top (changed that), one at the bottom with a hole in it. Red wine spilled all over my trousers and pullover. Shit happens, but (a) what about the quality of the goods and (b) how does the crew handle this? Crew/Service: Generally friendly, but the guy who served the red wine had no clue how to handle this: 1. Red wine on cloth is bad to clean 2. After I complained about a possible problem with cleaning and the possibility that the stain would stay, no reaction, only sortiere and the Recommendation from him was to use soda water which was actually not at hand and took him more then 10min to bring it. 3. I requested for the supervisor. She was very friendly and took my email address to write a report on this. I am now waiting for reaction and possible refund for cleaning or more. Another drink was offered but that was all until now. So I am curious about the reaction from Emirates. Overall it seemed like Emirates has a bad standing in BKK: - Bus boarding on B777 - No clear information about gate - Bad quality of material (cups) - For Emirates under average food quality Additional remark: The following connection flight from DXB to DUS, was very good, overall quality as expected from Emirates, food and staff was very good. So the above review from BKK -> DXB might have been an exception."

Such arrogance and an attitude that you instantly abhor. In my opinion, these Emirates people are most racist people in the world. The way they treat passengers from developing countries is vile. Even onboard, they treat 'white' passengers much differently than they would for a brown skin. I would never fly Emirates again. I plan to write against them in some leading newspaper for being racist. If people like us stay quiet and injustice and humiliating attitude they have against us, we will continue to suffer. I can pay a higher price for any other airline but I decline to ever fly with Emirates at the expense of my dignity."

Problem is that once they passed you, it's hard to get their attention, as they are always in a hurry, and not looking over the cabin just to check if someone needs something or wants to call on them for any reason, and there are no attendant calling buttons available. So you have to wait until they come by your seat again. Finally I got my meal with apologies 15 minutes later, but the experience was already ruined and the negative impression built.. Also, when departing from Taipei, the boarding process was a bit disorganized, compared with the one we had in Vancouver. As for as the entertainment, the LCD monitor at my seat was pretty worn out, with very poor contrast, making it difficult to watch a movie or read information. Same airline with two opposing experiences: Vancouver-to-Taipei very good, Taipei-to-Manila: poor."

Not too bad. 3 weeks before my vacation to Myanmar, China airlines moved my return connecting flight from Yangon to Taipei a day early, which meant I would need to cancel hotel reservations in Yangon and would be stranded in Taipei overnight. I called China Airlines and the only option was to move my 2nd flight a day early. No apologies or reason why my connecting flight was changed a day earlier."

Positiv: "I had a seat in Premium Economy and the seats were very comfortable. The chair had the option to extend into a foot rest and had wider arm space than standard economy seats do."
Negativ: "Boarding was a little delayed and hectic (seemed disorganized). The flight was quite crowded/full so this was likely a factor. Also, I was served a dish with ham (which I don't eat) even after asking for the contents & there being no mentioning of ham being in the dish. The crew was very apologetic and kind enough to offer any other dish option they had available."

Staff was not the friendliest - asked for water twice, was told just a moment but was never brought any. How do you not give people water on flight over 3 hours? I would have even paid for it. I have a history of heart failure and was worried because my ankles were swelling and my legs were tingling. We missed our bus because of the delay, The airline staff in taiwan took all of our travel info and said they would help us book other transport to get where we were going in Cambodia. When we got to Cambodia the check-in desk was closed so info told us to go to the china airlines office - we waited almost an hour and still no one showed up (middle of the afternoon). Had to pay 6x the price to get to Sihanoukville plus we weren't able to get a refund on the bus tickets. Crying, screaming kids in front of us kept standing up on the seats so no one behind them could see the TV - staff said nothing. Terrible experience."

Negativ: "We departed much later than anticipated and I missed my connecting flight as a result - had to spend an extra 10 hours at LAX until next flight available. The food was terrible, I only ate the fruit!"

Positiv: "The flight crew were extremely friendly and nice."
Negativ: "I had a pleasant ride. So I enjoyed my trip"

Positiv: "For economy class the seats were not cramped and had some space to them."
Negativ: "Lack of selection for food."

Positiv: "My seat was upgraded the first class so I received the first class service. It was excellent service and the flight was comfortable. Thank you for the great service."

Positiv: "The flight was fast. Seating super tight. Food was mediocre. But because flight was fast, didn't have to suffer tight economy seating for more than 11 hours."

Positiv: "I've been taking CI to Taiwan since I was a little kid. My flight to Seoul via Taipei was a bit uncomfortable bc the flight was fully packed and even though I had an aisle seat, the person sitting in the middle was hogging up all my space . Once I landed in Taipei and went on next flight to my destination at Seoul, that flight was much more comfortable and less people. On my return direct flight from Taipei to JFK seats were comfy and service is always attentive. I enjoy taking china airlines and can always rely on their service and clean planes"
Negativ: "The new interior decoration seems outdated and gives a weird vibe."

Negativ: "The dinner upset my stomach, leading me to get sick once I got home."

Positiv: "Quiet cabin - no crying babies or toddlers"
Negativ: "Food was terrible; will choose different airline in future for long haul trips"

Positiv: "Entertainment - good choices of movies and newer LCDs."
Negativ: "Compared to Delta where they proactively offer unli cocktails and drinks to business class and comfort, I've never had one offer in my return trip. Had a technical malfunction twice which caused me to miss my 7am connecting flight by 2 mins. The next plane didn't even bother to wear for 2 mins even if they caused the delay. They gave a 250NT lunch voucher and asked to what til the next flight in the afternoon. That was the longest flight I experienced coming from New York."

Positiv: "The crew didn't nag that I can't watch a movie on my mobile, even during take off and landing. That's highly appreciated. I also could tallies my GoPro during the entire flight, no negative comments from the crew, unlike many other regional carriers here."
Negativ: "The IFE screens are very small and dated. There are big IFE boxes under the seats limiting your feet real estate. Food was mediocre at best."

Positiv: "Since there is no Premium Economy class on this route, I was upgraded to business. Good, but not great experience."
Negativ: "No complaints, except that the business lounge at TPE, after the very long ordeal of going through security, is out of the way. Why the lights there would be so dim is a mystery to me, but the lounge is great."

Positiv: "Plane was clean and food was okay. Quiet flight and staff was helpful."
Negativ: "Boarding was slow and there were few if any announcements. The boarding area is confusing and not having clear signage made it difficult."

Positiv: "the one they call pork noodles was excellent lavatory at the back was clean even at the end of 12 hour flight"
Negativ: "assigned seats 71 D & E had my head shaking when turbulence hit the plane. poor leg room as expected. i will continue to complain about this however fruitless, helpless & frustrating it is"

Positiv: "I liked that I eventually arrived to my destination and was able to go home."
Negativ: "Was not notified that my flight was cancelled. Remained on hold for over 2 hours as I had to beg and plead with China Airlines to find and place me on another flight that was not days after my original arrival date. Did not get any form of an apology or upgrade for the stress and inconvenience caused by the last minute cancellation. Taipei to LAX: had to wait in line to check in for 1.5 hours, as there were only 3 China Airline people working the check in desks, I have posted a video on instagram of the massive line that I stood in. https://instagram.com/p/BHobbM0A6mP/"

Negativ: "They make you stay in China overnight EVERY flight layover......even by saying the weather is bad......others on my cancelled flight told me they'd waited 2 days for a flight but keep being sent back to a hotel"
