Negativ:: It's a bit too much of a good thing.The initial "Wow!" very soon turns into being tired of overdoing. There is no evening service in the room that causes a bit of confusion with the towels, as all of them are served all together in the morning.

Positiv:: das war ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt, Hotel mit einmaligem Flair, alleine der Eingangsbereich erschlaegt einen, (positiv gemeint), dieser ist sehr ueppig und detailliert hochwertig ausgestattet und dekoriert, alles sehr gepflegt, im Hintergrund spielt Musik der 20/30er Jahre, man fuehlt sich in diese Zeit zurueckversetzt, ruhiges Zimmer welches ausreichend gross und ebenso liebevoll und hochwertig ausgestattet ist, sehr gutes Bett, schoenes Bad mit toller Dusche, Fruehstueck mit toller Qualitaet und Auswahl, aufmerksames und zuvorkommendes Personal welches dem Stil des Hotels entsprechend gekleidet ist, zentrale Innenstadlage, viele Sehenswuerdigkeiten fusslaeufig erreichbar, von der Bushaltestelle (Airport Bus) in zwei Minuten erreichbar falls ich nochmal nach Goeteborg komme werde ich wohl wieder dieses Hotel waehlen

Positiv:: Traumhaft gestyltes Hotel im Zentrum von Göteborg. Ungewöhnlich, perfekt und liebevoll bis ins Detail gestaltetes Ambiente angelehnt an den sinnlichen Stil der 20er. Unser Zimmer war zwar klein, das stand aber auch in der Beschreibung. Trotz der zentralen Lage schliefen wir bei offenem Fenster zum Innenhof sehr gut. Sehr gut ist auch das Restaurant, herausragend die begleitenden Weine. Alles war schon schön und dann gingen wir zum Frühstück: Genial!

Positiv:: Außergewöhnliches Hotel im Stadtzentrum mit perfekten individuellen Zimmern und bester Schallisolierung. Klasse Frühstücks-Bufett und extravagante Ausstattung. Lädt ein zum Verweilen und Staunen. Qualifiziertes und sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Es gibt nichts auszusetzen, alles war über die Maßen positiv.

Positiv:: Die 20 iger leben in diesem Hotel konsequent wieder auf. Von der erlesenen Einrichtung bis zu der Kleidung der Rezeptionistin und Zimmermädchen. Sehr freundlich und natürlich, äußerst gepflegt, sehr gute Küche und traumhaftes Frühstücksbüffet. Absolut zu empfehlen wenn man etwas extravagantes sucht. Ich werde wiederkommen.

Positiv:: Frühstück war gut. Die Lage des Hotels ist zentral nahe des Hauptbahnhofs und mitten in der City. Es besitzt ein sehr schönes Ambiente, das dem hohen Alter des Hauses gerecht wird. Schöner Vintage-Chic.
Negativ:: Das es ein Cityhotel ist, ist es nachts bis in den frühen Morgen auf den Straßen sehr laut, weil Patrygänger nunmal erst morgens nach Hause gehen. Muss man in Kauf nehmen, bei dieser Lage.

Positiv:: Obwohl das B&B nicht direkt im Zentrum ist, kommt man mit dem Tram, welches vor der Haustüre hält, in ein paar Minuten direkt zur Central Station. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Haus war schön, die Betten waren bequem und alles war sehr sauber. Das Früstück war super. Parkieren kann man kostenlos am Strassenrand.
Negativ:: Das Zimmer hatte nur ein kleines Fenster, welches sich auch nur einen kleine Spalt öffnen lies.

Positiv:: The place was great and it exceeded our expectations! The interior of this accommodation was very elaborated and it seems that somebody took really good care of a design of this place. Everything was clean and taken care of, the breakfast was wonderful. Bonus was a perfect communication with the owner or a pretty good location near the public transport station and supermarket.
Negativ:: Maybe the only problem was a bad wi-fi signal in our room, but the signal was ok in the hallway and in the kitchen.

Positiv:: This is a very beautiful, sexy, fun place to stay, especially with a lover. Very playful, great art, wonderful breakfast, lovely rooftop space and cocktails. Lots of fun.
Negativ:: The sink in our room was blocked and the shower was a little crazy but otherwise very good. Also I stayed twice in one week and the ending time for breakfast had changed and no one let us know so we missed it.

Positiv:: Das Personal war sehr hilfreich bei der Suche nach einem geeigneten Parkhaus. Das Design des Hotels hat uns sehr gut gefallen, der Vintage Stil war ansprechend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Negativ:: Die Musik an der Rezeption war etwas laut und erschwerte die Kommunikation, allerdings kann man darüber hinwegsehen. Das Angebot des hauseigenen Restaurants war leider nicht kindergerecht, obwohl alles frisch zubereitet wurde und sehr ansprechend aussah.

Positiv:: This is such a beautiful, cozy hotel! Entering here feels like you're entering a different world and I was not ready to leave anytime soon! Extra fun fact for the ladies - you can actually rent a pair of Laboutin Pigalle shoes here :D Other than that: breakfast is excellent, the staff is very friendly and helpful, there's a great ambiance in this place and it's very clean and cozy. Also, a big plus is a location, smack middle in the city center!
Negativ:: Room was very small. I also felt it was too dark, I know there are dimmers installed but at times I would need more light (putting on makeup in half dark does not make for pretty results).

Positiv:: As soon as I saw this hotel I wished I was staying here longer than 2 nights. Lovely buildings all around. The story of the buildings history is in a folder in the room. Cafes, the canal with boats, Parks and buses and trams were very close. I read that Goteborg was replanned in the style of Paris with wide boulevards. I took a taxi from central station as I didn't know how far was the hotel, really only about 15 minutes walk. The hotel breakfasts are very good in the compact dining room. Reception were very friendly and helpful showing me the shelves of brochures and the tea/coffee available to everyone.
Negativ:: I arrived in Goteborg central station at 7pm on a Sunday night and found that the Information shop was closed so there were no city maps available. it would be useful to have a box of them on the counter for late travellers.

Positiv:: Das Frühstück war sehr gut, es gab auch Heringe in vier Variationen. Auch ein frisch aufgebrühter Kaffee in der Kanne (und nicht nur vom Automaten). Alles war sehr frisch und qualitativ hochwertig. Das Zimmer war sehr nett eingerichtet, mit zwei Leselampen am Bett. Das haben längst nicht alle Hotels und es ist so angenehm wenn man im Bett vor dem Einschlafen noch lesen kann. Das Bad war sehr sauber und bequem. In der Lobby gibt es ein Kaffeeautomat und heißes Wasser für Tee sowie Kekse. Sehr angenehm. Das Personal war super nett und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist wirklich sehr gut gelegen, es gibt einen kurzen Weg zur Tram-Haltestelle, die von vielen Linien bedient ist. Aber auch zu Fuß ist es nicht weit, in die zentralen Bereiche der Stadt zu gelangen. Absolut empfehlenswert! Ich würde sofort wieder hier buchen.
Negativ:: Es gab nichts was mir nicht gefallen hätte. Im 6 Stockwerk war es etwas warm, aber dort gibt es eine Klimanlage, die sehr gut funktioniert hat.

Negativ:: Champagnerkorken und Ohrenstäbchen sind eigentlich bei der Zimmerreinigung nicht zu übersehen ...!? Das Cafe hat wohl eher Lustundlauneöffnungszeiten und macht abends auch einfach Mal früher zu - aber es gibt fußläufig genügend Alternativen

Negativ:: Ein Lift fehlt. Das Frühstück wird in der hoteleigenen Cafeteria serviert, wo auch Externe essen können, was zu Platzproblemen führen kann.

Positiv:: The buffet breakfast was excellent with a wide range of cereals, pastries and other goods available. Gluten-free bread was readily available. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. At this time of the year the courtyard was a bit cold to have breakfast outside but on a summer's day it would provide a glorious start to the day. The cafe is open during the day to the general public and guests get a 25% discount if they show their room details. The room was compact but there was space for hanging and storing clothes and there was a small safe for valuables. The en-suite shower room/loo was excellent and the shower was a 'walk-in' shower with a well-fitting sliding door that preventing any water escaping onto the surrounding floor. A full range of shower gels and soaps was provided. The rooms were kept clean and tidy through-out my stay. The bed was, I think,equivalent to a UK 4ft double bed (ie small double) but was ideal for a single occupant. I found the bed to be rather soft but I usually sleep on a board!. My room also had two small chairs and a TV as well as a small writing desk on which was a basket of chocolates and other sweets that have to be paid for at the end of your stay!
Negativ:: I think the hotel was excellent for a short stay in the heart of the city and as a 'Simple' hotel it catered very well for our needs. The Cafeteria was open during the day but I suspect that most would be out and about after breakfast and there are many restaurants and other food outlets nearby.

Negativ:: Abstriche muss man beim Frühstück machen. Hier wird man gleich darauf hingewiesen, dass 9.30 Uhr mit dem Frühstück Schluss ist. Auch wird nicht alles wieder aufgefüllt und so ist es ratsam, nicht zu spät zu kommen. Da wären dann noch die Sache mit dem Tablett, man soll das Geschirr selber wegräumen. Hier drängt sich der Vergleich mit einer Kantine auf.

Positiv:: Das Zimmer und das Badezimmer waren sehr groß, auch die Dusche bot außergewöhnlich viel Platz. Die Lage direkt am Götha Riva und die Aussicht auf den Hafen war traumhaft. Das Bett war außergwöhnlich bequem. Das Frühstückbuffet war sehr umfangreich, abwechslungsreich und qualitativ hervorragend. Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
Negativ:: Die Fenster im Zimmer konnten nur einen etwas breiteren Spalt geöffnet werden und waren von außen relativ schmutzig, was wohl der salzigen Luft zuzuschreiben ist. Das hat den Ausblick wortwörtlich leider etwas getrübt.

I went close to him and asked if I could seat in one of the free places, but he started to shout very loud that I would wait outside, besides the finger pointing to my face. It was really aggressive and I was completed offended. Since I'm a polite person, I've just told him that I would be doing a complaint about his behavior. I've turn around and went out, but the man just follow me like if he was almost pushing me out. do not use the restaurant of this hotel. I've made a complain to the front desk some minutes later.

Positiv:: Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt sind zu Fuß oder mit der Straßenbahn erreichbar. Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Frühstück reichlich und sehr gut. Ein absoluter Pluspunkt ist natürlich der Rooftop-Pool mit Glasboden. Der Pool ist zwar nicht sehr groß, aber für eine Erfrischung zwischendurch mit Aussicht allemal geeignet.
Negativ:: Leider war das Bett nicht 100%ig sauber, unter dem Matratzen-Topper befanden sich noch einige Krümel sowie Haare von den vorherigen Bewohnern. Das ist leider ein absolutes No-Go für mich, deshalb auch keine Top-Bewertung. Im Bad waren einige Armaturen locker, aber das war nicht so schlimm, es hat trotzdem alles funktioniert.

Wir hatten eins mit Bad auf dem Flur. Dies war aber kein Problem, es lag direkt nebenan und wurde nur von uns benutzt.

Es ist in Göteborg unserer Meinung nach auch besser das die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel zu nutzen.

Positiv:: Zentral gelegen, nahe Strassenbahn und Bushaltestellen ( Flughafenbus! ), sauber und ruhig. Geteiltes Bad und WC war während unserer Woche Aufenthalt nie ein Problem, immer frei und sauber! Frühstück wenig Variation, aber genug und lecker. Frühstúcksraum ist von 18-21h als Aufenthaltsraum zu benutzen mit freiem Kaffee/Tee - ausserdem alles, um mitgebrachtes Essen ( viel Supermarkte in der Nähe und Take Aways ) dort in schöner Atmosphäre zu essen. Immer Personal anwesend! Fragen/Probleme: Wenn man fragt, ist Nichts ein Problem, aber man muss danach fragen! Jederzeit kommen wir gern wieder!
Negativ:: Alles war prima, aber als "Idee": Personal sehr zurúckhaltend, ja fast unsichtbar während des Nachmittags/Abends. Könnte mehr sichtbar/pro aktiv sein. Service des Zimmers: scheinbar auf Aufforderung, aber dann kein Problem, also einfach fragen um Handtücher/Leeren des Papierkorbs etc.

Negativ:: Nicht gefallen hat, dass der Frühstücksraum für Kaffe und Tee schon ab 06.00 Uhr geöffnet haben sollte, was nicht der Fall war.

Positiv:: Bathrooms were always clean and there seemed to be enough for the number of rooms, but the shower I used has nothing to stop the water from getting under the curtain and over the floor. The rooms have TV's which was nice to be able to watch in bed. Breakfast was OK, mainly breads, spreads, ham, cheese with boiled eggs, but maybe not enough seats. Location is close enough to walk to the city or central station, but there's also trams around the corner if you have heavy luggage.
Negativ:: When arriving at the building from the other side to where the actual entrance is,, the sign makes it seem like the entrance is there, when in fact it's next to the coffee shop and opposite the metal bar at the other end of the block.

Positiv:: The hostel was in the centre and near the airport bus station, located in a quiet neighbourhood, the staff was nice and helpful. Bathrooms and toilets were super clean, the room was simply but nicely equipped.
Negativ:: We would appreciate more options at the breakfast. There could be better windows curtains, the ones in our room were only decorative and on only 2 windows out of 3. In the room could be some shelf or drawer to store our things.

Positiv:: Die Lage gegenüber vom Hbf ist natürlich klasse. Leider kann man nicht direkt am Hotel parken, sondern muss ins Nordstan - aber ok. Das Eggers hat diesen morbiden Charme eines englischen Landhauses - aber eine kleine Runderneuerung wäre nicht schlecht. Dass man in der Badewanne duschen muss, ist nicht mehr zeitgemäss. Gar nicht gefallen hat uns der Raum wo man frühstücken konnte. Entweder man blieb drinnen - da war es furchtbar duster oder man ging in den "Wintergarten" - da waren die Möbel unbequem und unpraktisch. Man sass auf dem Kopfsteinpflaster. Das Frühstücksbuffet war schon kurz vor 10.00 sehr ausgedünnt und wurde auch nicht mehr aufgefüllt.

Positiv:: The place was exactly as seen in the pictures and we absolutely loved it. There were adequate bathrooms, the bedroom was not too small but not too big and the common areas (especially the kitchenette) were lovely. Very close to the tram and bus stop too. The decor was very simple and modern it was really nice to look at, I would give this hotel 5 stars if I could. The housekeepers did a really good job at keeping the place clean. The self-check-in was super easy and efficient. The door on the outside requires a passcode so it is also very safe.
Negativ:: Unfortunately other people staying in the hotel were a bit dirty, they use items in the kitchen and leave them lying around or don't clean up the table after themselves. Once I found hair in the shower drain and toothpaste all over the sink. If you are a light sleeper, sound from the outside will be a problem. I was awoken many times by the sound of traffic, ambulances , rain and people's chatter. The bed linen only includes one sheet, which means you have to cover yourself with a duvet which was very hot since there was central heating on as well.

Positiv:: We loved the kitchen facilities, so we could cook our own meals. The hotel seems very new and is in great shape. The bathrooms and showers are very clean. The location is wonderful, just a short walk from downtown.
Negativ:: The only thing I didn’t love was that you had to pay extra for the linens. I doubt anybody really brings their own linens ever, so you have to ‘rent’ the hotels’ linens. It should just be included in the room price.

Positiv:: Wir wollten von MIttelschweden am Samstag Abend am Flughafen in Göteborg, zu diesem Zwecke habe ich ein Hotel in Flughafen Nähe gebucht. Tja, jetzt weiss ich, dass es in Göteborg 2 Flughafen gibt. Aber das war kein Problem, Sonntag Früh war kein Verkehr und wir waren in 30min dann am richtigen Flughafen. Zum Glück haben wir es schon Samstag Abend bemerkt. Das Hotel hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen und da wir sehr spät angekommen sind, konnten wir nicht mehr alle Annehmlichkeiten nutzen. Aber die Bar hatte noch offen, und so konnten wir den Abend schön ausklingen lassen.
Negativ:: Einziger Wehrmutstropfen, das Frühstück am Wochenende ab 7:30Uhr war für uns sehr knapp, jedoch haben wir noch 20min geniessen dürfen. Auch hier waren wir sehr angenehm überrascht, reichhaltiges Büffet.

Positiv:: Everything is absolutely great, apart from the small restaurant menu, which tends to also be a bit pricey. Breakfast is wonderful, staff is very helpful - got checked-in quite earlier than the original time, so everything was smooth and nice.
Negativ:: Restaurant menu is quite small and a bit expensive, but it compensates with the great taste! Parking also tends to be quite full if you arrive late in the evening, but then you can also park in the golf club, so only the remark about the restaurant is a small negative.

Positiv:: Das Hotel selber ist absolut gut. freundlicher Service, gute Zimmer, toller Wellnessbereich mit schönem Außenpool. Die zimmer sind auch sehr gut. Ein klassisches Business Hotel in der oberen Klasse.
Negativ:: Aber man schaut aus den besten Zimmern leider auf einen Busbahnhof. Das Hotel liegt nämlich nicht nur am Golfplatz, sondern leider auch in einem Gewerbegebiet. Außerdem ist der Wellnessbereich inklusive aussenbereich mit Pool erst für Kinder ab 13 Jahre. Das war sehr ärgerlich. Wir hätten mit zwei Kindern gebucht und wurden nicht auf diese Besonderheit hingewiesen. Das war sehr ärgerlich, denn genau dafür hatten wir das Hotel ausgewählt. Das Abendessen Restaurant war gut, aber die Portionen klein und ziemlich teuer.

When we wanted dinner at the restaurant we were told we could have a table at 9pm despite making the booking 6 months ago.

Negativ:: Standard rooms are facing an atrium, hence no natural sunlight. The restaurant & SPA is overpriced. 500SEK for just using the pool is a good joke. If St Jörgen considers these rates to be fair, they could at least offer their overnight guests some kind of discount. When Norway's (and probably whole Scandinavia's) number 1 SPA outside Oslo goes for around 550SEK/day, you know that something is terrible wrong here... Location is off, so SPA/golf is what you do here. I booked the hotel since the city center was unavailable due to congress.

The atmosphere is classic and stylish. Breakfast comes with a lot of variety. The beds are big and the room was spacious and clean.
Negativ:: There is a difference in floor level even at tbe ground floor, where you will encounter several steps. More cut fruit at breakfast would be appreciated.

Positiv:: This hotel is very beautiful and luxurious and everybody who visits Göteborg should stay there at least once. The view from the room is super, and the spa center is outstanding, especially with the outdoor pool. The staff is very nice, and the rooms are very comfortable. Especially enjoyed so many pillows on the bed.
Negativ:: The breakfast choice could be a bit better, but otherwise it was quite interesting.

Positiv:: We were there for the birthday of my girlfriend and it was truly extraordinary: incredibly friendly and professional staff went out of their way to make it a perfect experience. The property even exceeds what one would expect from the pictures: especially the Spa with its "levitating" pool 20 floors above the street and the Sauna with an amazing view over the Liseberg amusement park stood out. Also the restaurant was a fantastic experience and it more than deserves its Michelin star.

Positiv:: Wenn man schon mit einem alkoholfreien Holunderblüten Cider mit essbaren Blüten begrüßt wird, merkt man, dass das Hotel klasse hat. Mein Zimmer war riesig, das Bett total gemütlich, alles super sauber und komfortabel. Pflegeprodukte sowie Bademantel und Schuhe waren vorhanden. Der Spa Bereich, der für 3 Stunden gebucht werden kann ist super, habe die Zeit sehr genossen und die Produkte ihrer eigenen Marke runden das Spa Paket ab. Auch das Frühstück war sehr lecker, es gab ein kleines, aber feines Buffet und zusätzlich konnte man Gerichte von der Karte bestellen, die frisch zubereitet wurden und etwas ausgefallener waren. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend. Am liebsten wäre ich länger geblieben, aber dafür ist es dann doch recht teuer, wenn man selbst noch Studentin ist. Generell ist der Preis aber gerechtfertigt. Komme gerne nochmal wieder :)

I requested a room with a view but got pushed a bit to the side, paid an upgrade fee but ended up in the far away tower, and also near to some machinery noise which i could not locate. In the breakfast room at a top floor we were asked to not sit near the window (at 9:15h) because some lunch group would arrive at 11h - 2 hours ahead of a planned schedule! The swimming pool also was closed earlier due to some maintenance window. not sure i would come back again.

Negativ:: Staff wasn’t very helpful. Bedroom was very old fashioned, guess if you are lucky you can have a renovated one. It’s hard to enjoy breakfast when there are 300 people in the room.

Positiv:: Unbeatable location, as much for the communication with the airport, as with the communication with the center and rest of interesting zones of the city. Very good staff treatment! Even some people know Spanish. Details like being able to have free water bottle, coffee, tea, fruit... The breakfast buffet is delicious and with local products.
Negativ:: Only as a suggestion (because it wasn't a big problem) perhaps it is our problem because we are from the south of Europe, but we were so cold in the room, as there was no possibility of heating. It is true that the hotel staff provided us with a small heater, but it was not enough.

Positiv:: The location is perfect, 3 min walk from the flygbussarna station where you can board the bus to and from Gothenburg airport. The neighborhood is also pretty nice with many cafes and restaurants. Staff are friendly and breakfast is OK. The beds are also pretty comfy.
Negativ:: The hotel is really aging. It shows tears and wears everywhere. There is also a funny smell on the 5th floor corridors. Rooms are pretty small and look old. Nothing included in the minibar.

Positiv:: The location is always great, I always stay here when in Gothenborg, but single room should be out of modern days. Single travellers working or on holiday like comfort too. The breakfast is good. When they find out they have runners in the hotel, the serve it earlier and keep it, so we can have a second breakfast when we return from the morning race ( Urban run ),
Negativ:: Had to get another room. Though facing the street as I required, there was a strong wind outside and the room felt like freezing. changing room first succeeded the second day I stayed there. As genius customer we use to be able to get a room early, 3 pm is not early.

Positiv:: Die Lage ist wunderbar, weil man auch einfach zu Fuß in die Innenstadt kommen kann. Tram fahren ist aber auch ein spannendes Erlebnis in Göteborg und damit auch zu empfehlen. Die Inneneinrichtung ist modern und es gibt besonders viel Platz im Gemeinschaftsraum!

Positiv:: The localization was really good, close to bus stop from airport. Really well located. There are restaurants and a supermarket so close to it. It´s quite silence one, perfect to rest after a full day. Internet connection everywhere. the crew is really practical, they do what is necessary.
Negativ:: the room is good but there is no window. It makes you lose the sense of the day, it´s necessary to check at clock.

Positiv:: Great location, a short walk to town or an even shorter tram ride. The facilities were excellent, clean and plenty for everyone. Beds were comfortable and the communal area was probably the best I've seen. Great staff and a nice chilled out bar downstairs. Amazing stay.
